[Dean’s Estate]
On his way into the estate, Dean saw the ruins of Seraphina’s car and the few drops of blood on the tar—glaring signs of violence.
He knew what had happened.
Marley and Genevieve mentioned some people from Valhalla would come from Seraphina.
They probably came already.
And he was proved right when he entered the mansion to meet two thick men who look like descended from a snakes valley with their tattoos, body build, and dress-mode.
If he didn’t hear about them before, he’d be taken by shock, but he heard stories, so he entered fully, never taking his eyes away from the two.
They stood by his staircase, right and left respectively.
They aren’t glaring, they aren’t smiling. Their gazes are just there.
But there’s another thing;
The house is disarranged. They turned the house upside down. Right now, it could rival a caught corrupt firm undergoing investigation.
Everywhere is insanely scattered like they were searching for something, and he’s so sure upstairs would be just the same—if not worse.
“It’s not here. What you’re looking for, is not here.” Dean cleared them.
They didn’t move.
They didn’t talk.
“I said,” Dean’s jaws bladed. “It’s not here. Weren’t you searching for the land documents? It’s not here. She wouldn’t be daft enough to keep it in this house, and wherever she kept it, I have no idea. Quit the search.”
“Dean St. Graves?” One of the Serpents decided to talk—the one with the dyed white hair. “You knew the importance of that document to the Redd family. Yet, your slow-arse couldn’t keep an eye on it! Marley mentioned your interest in the club. You mean you’ll be with us with this shitty, undesirable brain?”
“Yes,” Dean glared. “I’ll be with y’all in the club, soon. But why don’t you change that last past? Shitty, undesirable brain?” He chuckled. “If it was that way, I wouldn’t own the most successful Investment Empire in this city. Watch your mouth.”
The second one with the grilled teeth took a step close to come for him.
Dean put his fingers in place, ready to snap it and call for his guards, but the dyed hair one pulled the second one back, stopping the move.
“Let’s bounce, man.” He said thickly like a rumble, leading the way out.
Grilled teeth followed him, but he didn’t stop throwing thorning stares at Dean till they got to the door.
“Don’t hurt her too much,” Dean muttered unexpectedly.
The Serpents head turned around at the same time, giving her the same parallel looks.
“Now that you said that, I’mma make sure I put my dick up her arse. Isn’t she your wife? You’ll be getting a f+kin overused girl back, and that’s if she comes out alive.” Grill teeth said meanly, and both finally left.
As the door closed tightly behind them, Dean put his arse on the couch, sitting restlessly.
It’s Seraphina, the girl he married because he was ordered to.
It’s Seraphina, the girl he shouldn’t even be the least attracted to.
The same girl who made him lose a huge investment deal on the land.
His Kelly is on the hospital bed, unconscious with a brutally wounded shoulder, shot by his brother.
He should be bothered about her, not telling these Valhalla dudes to take it easy on Seraphina.
Why did he even say that?
He cupped his mouth with his palm, mood swinging.
The door crashed open without a warning, letting a furious Allison inside the house.
Dean stood.
“You never learn your lesson, do you?” His eyes rolled.
“I don’t give a fû+k about the sabotaging. That can be sorted later, but I’ve been calling her line, and it’s been off. Also, on my way into this darn estate, I saw her Lexus. It has been crashed, completely. It looked like a Crash n Take scene! It looked like… like someone took her.”
“Why the hell are you even here?” Dean questioned, her presence scratching his nerves. “Do I look that simple to you? Her family did that shit to her, but you couldn’t go confront them cos of course you can’t. You damn know they’ll make you disappear off the earth crust,”
“But you came here? Forgetting what I can do too? Last time it was a gun head on your knee, and you look like you’ve healed, good. This time, it’ll be a gunshot to your brains if you do not get your arse out of my doorway.”
At the snap of his fingers, his guards materialized from all corners of the living room. Burly men surrounded him. Some of them lined in front of Allison, ready to throw her out.
Or shoot her out.
Allison doesn’t look shaken, but she’s obviously trying to keep it in. Her teeth struggled to stay on top of each other, biting every ill word she has in her mouth back to her throat.
“I didn’t come here to scream on you or get loud like the other time. I only wanna know where you took her.”
“Where I took her?” Dean’s face soured up. “You’re funny, Allison.”
“Her little car is ruined down your estate, meaning; whoever took her did it inside this estate. I know you know. Dean, she is your wife. This girl crushed on you for years, are you even human?” Allison sniffled, calm.
Dean sat back, staring down for a beat before riding his eyes back up.
“She was taken to a dark place, totally out of human knowledge. The only thing you should do is pray.”
“Out of human knowledge?” Allison’s mind left her. She felt cold.

[Redd Estate]
Celebration? It’s higher than that here. Everyone’s in a golden mood, carved from Seraphina’s doom.
Her works was successfully sabotaged. The public is against her once again. In fact, they detest her harder. Additionally, she has been captured by the Serpents of Valhalla.
What is there to not rejoice about?
They’re all gathered at the Penthouse, drinking and eating and partying.
Caviar filled glinting plates. Spiced chicken, french pasta and heavenly steak. Appetizers and desserts.
Then, wine bottles that cost a fortune.
They even have the party a theme—Fall of the Jinx.
So, they all wore customized shirts with the drawing of Seraphina falling from a tower on it.
It’s like they’ve been prepared before today. Dora prepared them.
Genevieve spiced it up by inviting people from her movie set. Marley invited Redd Holdings people too. Parties are frequent in this penthouse, but this is sweeter.
Unbridled smiles is on the faces of every Redd family member.
“Two days ago was supposed to be our wedding anniversary, but that jinx ruined it,” Genevieve stood with her raised glass, grinning. “Now it’s not too late. The anniversary will be marked today along with the fall of the jinx! Drink! Drop unconscious! There are enough rooms in the penthouse for drunk people!”
“Mrs. Redd!!!” The guests hailed her up, filling the penthouse with their insane echoes.
“And as a gift to Peach for getting justice for this family today,” Marley stood, dangling a car key.
A brand new Maybach!
“I don’t care if you’re just ten, grandbaby,” he continued. “But you’re getting your first car today, and your first bank account.”
He dropped the Maybach key and a bank card on the table.
“OMG!!” Peach screamed, standing. “Do I really have a car and a bank account already? Me?”
“You deserve it, grandbaby.” Genevieve smiled. “And you know what? Keep making us proud.”
“I love you so much Grandmum! I love you a lot, Granddad!” Peach jumped, hugging the both gladly.
She was indeed born for this family.
How prouder would they be when they get to know about what she did in school? She can’t wait for them to know about that shit.
“Mum!” She rushed over to Kimmy who’s just returning from the washroom. “Mum, look what I got!”
“A Maybach? A bank account?” Kimmy dropped her wine glass quickly, checking it out with greedy, materialistic big eyes.
“See?” She stroked Peach’s hair. “I told you. You can’t survive in here if you refuse to listen to me. Look at you, getting your first gift car at ten, and your bank account? I just know you got millions there. At your business school, don’t relax for anyone at all. You’re Peach Redd, and you’ll never forget that fact.”
“I know, Mama. And I love you.” Peach hugged her dearly.
“Mama loves more, baby.” Kimmy hugged her tightly.
“Ok! Ok!” Dora’s loud voice broke into the penthouse, surprising everyone as she entered with blindfolded male and female strippers.
All muscular. All full of body.
“It’s the day we fell the jinx, and it’s my parents anniversary too! So, I brought in some freakiness to heat up the shit! Give it up to strippers from Club Quit who’ll be making today a memorable shit!” Dora screamed.
Music hit the mood.
Genevieve and Marley changed into their matching red robes, sat on velvet chairs, and watched the strippers performance with wine glasses hanging between their fingers.
While the males gave their all in front of Genevieve, the females let it shake in front of Marley.
The fun was only just beginning.
