[Dean’s Estate]

Seraphina has been seated here for an hour now, knowing the news would soon run about, and they’ll come for confrontation.

She didn’t just sit. She made herself coffin, sat cross-legged in the middle of the biggest couch, and sipped.

She always knew holding power in your hands felt good.

She saw the way Kimmy and Marley commanded respect in the news.

She saw the way Genevieve dominated with power on in her movies.

She saw the way Dora commanded authority at her Fashion hub as the youngest CEO in this country.

But this was the first time she got to really hold power in her own hands.

This was the first time she felt what it’s like to be respected.

She saw the look of shocks mixed with sudden respect in the eyes of the other representatives at the sales event when she entered.

And the shock and disbelief on Marley and Kimmy’s face? It was priceless. She’d love to continue seeing that look no matter the price she’s gonna have to pay.

She wants to dominate, too.

She took another sip from the bittersweet coffee, and the bursting of the door followed that sip.

Genevieve came in with Marley.

Kimmy and Dora followed right behind them.

Then, Dean and Kelly.

Six people, all on her alone. The former Seraphina would be fidgety as hell, but she held power now.

They can’t do shit to her.

“It’s fuckin true…” Genevieve muttered, receiving her own shock when she saw what Seraphina wore.

Her shock was colossal.

“This is…” Dora stared at Seraphina’s dress. “Zee from Milan! She’s wearing Italian designer?”

“I’m not interested in those clothes. You stole it for all I know,” Dean talked, snapping his fingers. “The documents you got from the sales hall? Drop them.”

“Drop them, f+kin’ parasite;” Kelly shouted jealously.

She knew Seraphina was endowed cos even though she always wore wide stuff, her curves were still somehow noticeable, but this was the first time she saw it for real.

In the blue dress? Seraphina was packed. Front? Back? Both.

“The cops are filing another case against you right now,” Marley spoke next. “Fakery and forgery, plus your initial criminal record. Hand over the land documents now, and I’ll consider the fact that you were once my daughter, I’ll let you go.”

Seraphina dropped her coffee mug on the little porcelain tray. She unmounted her legs and stood, averagely tall in her heels.

Dean’s eyes went to her hips first, but only for a minute. He looked away.

“Y’all are funny,” she started. “And to think I was once family with y’all is funnier. I’m Seraphina now, I don’t have a surname! I’m still married to Dean, and I’ll still stay in this house, but our marriage is only on paper, so I’m not taking his surname either.”

“Seraphina!” Dean jumped forward with a raised punch.

“Dean!” Kelly pulled him back.

“Yeah, bî+ch, keep pulling him back cos if anyone touches me, then that land will become a pig farm tommorow, and y’all won’t be able to do a damn thing!” Seraphina warned.

“Then,” Kimmy stepped in. “What the f+k do you want?”

“One,” Seraphina started. “Withdraw your criminal cases against me and announce to the public that I am free of all charges.”

“Shithead!” Dora yelled, sneering. “Fuckin’ shithead! Who do you think you fuckin’ are?”

“Calm down, Dora the explorer, I’m not done.” Seraphina canted her head. “Two, no one can touch me. Not Dean, not any of you! The little bedroom you gave me in this house Dean? Change it, I want your bedroom and bathroom instead. You can choose another one of the other rooms, aaaaand you will cancel the curfew.” She nodded.

“What bedroom?” Kelly spat. “You want Dean’s bedroom? Same bedroom I’m in love with?”

“After giving you all of these, what next?” Genevieve asked with angrily crunched nose.

“Then I might consider selling the land to you. See, I know how much failure stinks to you, Marley, Dean, and I understand.” Seraphina shrugged. “Give me my little demands, and we’ll be cool. Now if you’d excuse me, I need some fresh air.” She hooked eyes with Dean for a second before leaving.

Everyone released the breaths they didn’t know they were holding.

“This can’t happen!” Dora laughed crazily, prowling forward. “Ain’t no way we’re bending to the wishes of that thing! Over my dead body! When I was ten, I already owned my fashion hub, but when she was ten, she was getting punished everyday cos she always failed her school tests and exams! That one can’t hold a key over us! Never!!!!”

“Dean,” Kelly held him. “Baby what do we do?”

“Dad, mum,” Genevieve faced them. “Just the sight of her feels like thousands millipedes are crawling over my skin. We have to kill her!”

“Where the hell did she get 12 from anyways? Who’s helping her?” Kelly muttered, forehead squeezing.

“Probably someone who weilds power we don’t know about.” Genevieve muttered.

“Who weilds power in this city without my recognition?” Dean replied confusingly.

“We’ll fish whoever it is out, and Seraphina herself? She’ll crawl and tear apart while she drops the land documents and her life.” Marley sighed, sitting.

“And how do you plan to do that?” Kimmy asked.

Marley exchanged glances with Genevieve, then they chorused…

“Valhalla.”

“Valhalla?” Dean repeated. “Wait, like THE Valhalla club?”

His phone rang in his pocket, but he doesn’t have the chills to pick.

“You both are members?” Kelly’s eyes widened. “What the f+k!”

“For now, do whatever she wants, Dean.” Genevieve said. “Till we find out who’s helping her.”

Seraphina didn’t drive straight to Hotel Hennessy.

She drove to Allison’s and opened the door without giving it a knock.

“Who’s it?” Allison showed up from the staircase, popping her head out to see who it might be.

“Lis,” Seraphina smiled.

“Oh my God,” Allison’s face gilted. She limped down the staircases.

“Oh my God, you’re limping!” Seraphina gasped, rushing to her.

“Where the f+k have you been!” Allison cried, engulfing her in a sisterly hug. “You couldn’t give me a beep to assure me you were ok! I was so fuckin’ worried and was going out of my damn mind!”

“I’m so sorry, Lis,” Seraphina hugged back. “I’d have called, but my helper restricted me from calling.”

“Your helper?” Allison broke the hug.

“Can we talk about your limping first? What’s up with your leg?” Seraphina asked worriedly.

“Dean came with Kelly and some able-bodied men. My knee was slammed with a gun head, and I was forced to arrange a meeting between him and Baron West for—”

“For the abandoned supermarket land?” Seraphina pulled out the documents from her suitcase. “I bought it!”

“What!” Allison covered her mouth.

“Yeah. Though, I don’t own it. It’s only only in my name, but I bought it for my helper. They think I own it now, and I’m holding this against them.” Seraphina explained.

“Girl, helper?” Allison frowned. “Who the f+k is this helper of yours? A man? A woman?”

“Can I help you massage your knee first?” Seraphina pulled her. “F+k Dean and Kelly for doing this to you.”

“No,” Allison halted. “I want the whole talk about your helper first, and wait!” Her eyes caught her outfit. “Holy shi+! You wore another colour outside of black and white? It’s even tight and….shit, look at those curves!” Allison touched her hips teasingly.

Seraphina smiled.

“Gawd isn’t fair for giving you everything while I have nothing. Just look at my ass, there’s nothing going on there!” Allison turned.

“Stop!” Seraphina laughed.

Allison smelled her, sniffling her blue gown with her nose.

“You wore perfume too? Bi+ch, get on that couch and tell me who the f+k is your helper!”

“I swear I won’t be able to tell a detailed story if I don’t go somewhere first. I’ll be right back to spend the night with you!” Seraphina went for the door.

“You have just thirty minutes, baby. Thirty minutes!” Allison shouted. “Your phone is here!”

She threw her phone, and Seraphina caught it.

“I’ll be right back!” Seraphina responded before leaving.

She instructed the private driver to take her back to Hotel Hennessy so she’d pick stuffs from her room.

The driver did just that.

But immediately they got to the hotel and she came out, the driver drove off without a word.

“Wait…what??” Seraphina blinked, wondering why he left her.

But when she arrived at her Suite and saw the note waiting on the bed, she understood why.

The Note: Mission accomplished. You asked for help to settle your criminal issue, and help is done. Keep the land in your name and do whatever you wanna do with Dean and your family. Don’t call the burner phone.

Seraphina’s mind flew.

Wait… he’s… he’s… Done with their agreement?

Her phone bleeped in her second hand. It’s a notification from the cops that her case has been cancelled.

The charges against her from her family have been dropped.

She’s free,but….

She looked at the note in her hand again, gulping. She felt her hope thinning.

She gave herself a deep pinch on the lap, biting her lip so hard.

She bled.

[Graves Memorial Estates]

Saint came to watch the family business at Uncle Will’s request.

Tino didn’t come with him this time. That coward was too scared to step the Estate again.

Saint stood authoritatively in the dimly lit hallway which smelled of dead bodies washing chemicals and preservatives.

From there, he directed the workers as they took in newly brought bodies.

“That one with dry ass goes in the left glass. I hate dry arses. The bursty one? She goes to the right glass, that’s automatic heaven.” He said.

The workers followed his instructions, lining the naked bodies inside the room.

Saint leaned on the wall and pulled out his phone. He nearly clicked on camera to take pictures of the bodies, but he changed his mind and clicked on his phone protection app.

A bright red dot beeped on top of the app, indicating bug.

A crazy smile made his lips curve. Bold of her to think his phone would be bugged without his knowledge.

Dora Redd.

He knew when she started stalking him last year. She came to his every bike race, and she was always at the club whenever he went there.

Such devotion. So pretty.

But he stalked her, too.

He watched her from the shadows many times.

He even had a bug planted in her Fashion Clan without her knowledge, and he saw her obsession though the lenses. He saw the way she craved constantly for his c+k.

Such a fool.

Even at the Charity dinner, he intentionally did that to Bexley to see how she’d react.

She’s sure she has a hitman going after Bexley right now.

Bexley might look like an ordinary orphan, but he knows damn well she’s not ordinary.

May the best girl win.

But Dora deserves a gift, though.

All that devotion? He wants to reward her, tonight.

He lowered his pants right there and took a picture of his balls.

Just the balls without the c+k.

He sent it to her IG inbox with the caption: Imagine the c+k.

He was grinning as he entered the bodies hall, and surprisingly, the carved body from the Church is still there, in the glass.

It’s not buried yet.

“Why the hell is this still here? It’s supposed to be buried already.”

“It’ll stay unburied till I trace where the body came from exactly,” Uncle Will replied, entering. “I know it came from his cult, but I wanna know where exactly his cult sent it from.” He looked at Saint.

“You were so scared of this cult that they’ll take Toby away from us, so you sent him to seminary. Now that he’s back and you’re starting to see their signs again, you wanna go after those beasts? Are you tired of living, Uncle Will?” Saint glared hard.

Uncle Will didn’t reply. He kept his eyes on the carved body.

“Need to go see Toby, for real.” Saint mumbled.

[Rednecks Racers Warehouse]

Rednecks aren’t only racers, but also gangsters who work for a hidden organization to off people and raid houses or seize lands and documents.

That’s the major reason they’re more muscular than Asphalt Kings.

They’re also trained to kill, not only to race on the road.

This warehouse is their fun place after every race and operation, and tonight, it’s happening again.

They just had a successful raid of the Priest’s Rectory in Savior’s Alive Church, and they’re in celebration.

Five of them went for the operation, but there are ten here now.

Even the ten aren’t all. They’re like fifty, but different gangsters for different shifts and time.

“This is my third call to Dean. Why the f+k is he not picking?” The leader said, dropping his phone.

“He’s a busy man. Don’t judge quick. We have his money, what’s left is getting our damn share.” One of them responded, raised his bottle of beer.

“I still can’t believe Dean made us rob his twin.” A lanky one laughed.

“He hates him, obviously.”

“And we all hate their younger brother Saint who’s a threat our race” their leader spoke again. “The day we get that one? I’ll gladly die with him.”

The others echoed loud laughter together, but not for long.

The warehouse door was kicked open forcefully from outside. The force shook the whole warehouse so much they thought it’d crumble.

The water drums behind the door fell chaotically over each other, flooding the place with unplanned erosion.

The Rednecks stood skeptically, awaiting what would follow as water the stayed on their ankle-level.

There was silence for a while after the door broke down.

In the silence, they all stared at the open door with their guns in hand, awaiting their prey who dared to visit the house of lions.

Like a sign of doom, Tobias entered the warehouse in his vestments, the metal bag held in his left hand, and a single earring in his left ear.

His steps were silent, yet, fatal-looking and calculated.

Every member of the gang looked dumbstruck, aiming murderously for him with their hot pistols.

Ten guns, all for his head. But Tobias looked at them like cookies.

“The f+k?” Their leader sounded.

“The right thing you should be saying to me is the location of my stuff,” Tobias sat on the chair beside him, placing the metal box on his laps. “Where is my money?”

“What money are you talking about?” A gangster glared.

“When you came,” Tobias lifted his left brow with a cinch. “My Doberman Grimm was around, but he watched y’all steal my money cos he knows it’s been a while I touched blood, he wanted me to do it myself.”

“Dude, you need to go back to Church right fuckin now! You don’t have cash in this area!” The leader spat.

“Another wrong answer, and this will be the last wrong one.” Tobias voice went lower than it already was. “Where. Is. My Money?” Half his eyeballs disappeared into his lids.

“Kill this motherfucker!” The leader ordered his gang.

Pistols were re-aimed, and triggers were pulled, but like a dash of light, Tobias carried the metal box on his laps and blocked himself with it.

He remained seated, eyes rolling behind the box as the bullets hit the metal with rattling noises, bouncing off and scattering across the sandy floor without hitting Tobias.

Not even one hit him.

One of the flying bullets finally hit the metal lock, and it came apart, releasing Mayhem from inside.

Tobias let go of the box and took Mayhem, the feel of her coldness against his palm so head-turning.

He hasn’t even shot when two bullets flew in from outside, hitting the chests of two of the gangsters and sending them to their deaths.

The remaining eight ran out of bullets already, so they resorted to escaping, but that wasn’t fruitful.

Immediately they turned their backs, Tobias opened fire from Mayhem, targeting the heads of all of them.

Mayhem doesn’t only kill. It destroys.

It blew their heads off their necks and scattered the components on the wall and the watery ground.

Their brains and blood mixed with the water, and their bodies dropped with a loud, deadly splash.

Two by the door.

Two by the walls.

Two by the drums.

The last two by the chair.

Tobias jaw dripped with their blood as he lowered his gun.

He looked out through the small window and saw black butterflies flying around the warehouse.

It’s a sign of Odium. A symbol that the cult is around this warehouse.

Definitely, they’re the ones who shot the first two bullets at the gangsters.

Using his leg, Tobias pushed off some circled blocks near the window of the place. There, the bags of money sat.

His money.

Tobias threw his head back.

Now, the water have been sucked completely by the ground.

The ground is dry.

He went down and lay on his back in the middle of the ten bodies.

His gun lay beside him as he let out a chilly, wrong laughter.

“Thou shalt not kill, but I’m not Thou. I’m Wrath, The Black Rose.” He uttered, shutting his eyes and inhaling the thick smell of blood.

“Long Live Odium.”
