________________________________________________

People who initially only turned their necks had to turn their whole figure for a clearer view.

Marley’s glasses is still held between his thumb and pointer, his eyes still carried the dash of shock.

Baron West is still by the front table, looking at Seraphina like she fell from the sky.

He knows she’s the second daughter of the Redd family—the disowned one who’s wanted for stabbing her sisters, so how did she get 12B?

Not like he cares about her source. What’s important is that he gets the money and gets outta here.

“It ain’t real, f+ckin’ bît+ch!” Kimmy’s voice tore through the room when she arrived at Seraphina’s face with a raised arm to smack her.

“If I get hit, Baron, I ain’t buying your land.” Seraphina said calmly.

Baron West snapped his fingers, sending his best of guards to surround Seraphina.

Kimmy’s hand went back down in insane flabbergast.

“Call the cops! She’s wanted! Call the f+kin cops!”

No one made a move.

Kimmy’s words hung uselessly.

She had to look back at everyone to see them staring at the scene with still-stunned eyes.

Her eyes met Marley’s.

Marley’s glasses are back on his eyes, and those eyes are searchingly trained on Seraphina.

Seraphina shoved Kimmy out of her way and moved closer to the sales table—to Baron West.

She dropped the suitcase.

Baron West had it opened, and inside, sat a cheque of 12B.

Crisp. Warm.

His smile grew bigger.

At the snap of his fingers, his guards tendered the land documents on the table. There are like ten of them.

Seraphina signed it all neatly and stamped her thumbprint on the required space, cleanly.

“It was sweet doing business with you.” Baron offered her an handshake, but she ignored it, tipping her chin up.

Baron West folded his palm.

She gathered the documents into her suitcase, clipped it close, and carried it. Her walk out of the hall started.

All eyes are still on her like she bought their sight, the faint clicks of her heels on the floor so intentional.

She looked like a fountain of power. Untouchable and inexhaustible.

12 Billion.

Of course it commands attention.

Kimmy still looks pale.

Marley blocked Seraphina’s way, and she raised her lids at him, slowly.

“A worthless pig like you? Impossible. We both know you’re playing Baron West.” Marley looked at her with open hostility.

“Baron,” Seraphina raised her hand. “That cheque with you, you don’t smell the crispness and warmth?”

“Fresh out of the printing machine, from the biggest bank in the country….Damn authentic.” Baron West answered from the back.

Seraphina lowered her hand, shooting Marley another glance.

“If I were you, Marley Redd,” she called him straight by his government name. “I’d start thinking of ways to get this land out of my hands, and you know what? The only way will be prying it out of my cold, dead hands.”

She went past him, then she went past Kimmy who’s still frozen.

Kimmy smelled perfume from Seraphina, and she went rigid.

Seraphina? Perfume? Not just any perfume. What she just inhaled from her is limited edition shit.

How?

Seraphina stepped out of the hall, and she was instantly surrounded by cops. Kimmy called them.

Before they could even get close to her, Marley came out of the hall, hands in pockets.

“Stop!” He ordered.

“Dad! Dad, what are you doing?” Kimmy rushed out, panting.

Marley’s jaws clenched.

Kimmy looked ahead to see the cops making way for Seraphina.

Seraphina entered the car, hanging her jacket on her forearm.

“To Dean’s Estate,” she told the private driver who instantly drove.

“Case dismissed, for now.” Marley faced the cops.

Their squad leader stepped forward with knotted brows.

“You filed a criminal case against her. She stabbed her sisters. Letting a criminal walk freely is—”

“I said I don’t want a case for now! Suspend the case!” Marley cut in, voice cutting high.

The cops squad left after that clarification, and Kimmy jumped at Marley’s face, snarling.

“You let her go!”

“You know why I did that, Kimmy! Stop acting oblivious to the fact that we need that land in her possession! Redd Holdings have never lost a deal, and it ain’t gonna start with her!”

Kimmy’s chest went down.

She faced the road, still panting.

“Where the f+k did she get 12B? Billions? Not millions, dad. Billions! You’re telling me a pumpkin became a potato overnight? How come!?”

Marley got his phone and dialled Genevieve.

Kimmy reached for her phone, too. She dialled Dean.

[Dynamite Movie Set]

Preparations are ongoing for Genevieve to shoot her last scene.

For each scene she’d appear at, set staffs have to render extra efforts and attention to retouch her makeup.

Genevieve likes her makeup hot at all times. The red lipstick is like made for her, and her lips are currently getting retouched. She was still getting put together at the backstage when her phone rang in the hands of her manager who handed it to her.

“It’s Mr. Redd, ma’am.” He informed.

Genevieve took the phone with a sweet smile, swiping green.

“Honey, you suddenly remember our anniversary is tommorow and decided to call upfront?”

“Gene, there’s a bigger fish to fry.” Marley responded, sounding cornered.

“What could be more pressing than our 29th wedding anniversary tommorow?” Genevieve’s smile wiped off, but then it picked back up. “You bought the land?”

“The cursed disowned child was at the sales event. We planned 10B from the company’s funds, but she came all dressed like a fuckin masquerade with 12 Billion!”

“Disowned child?” Genevieve’s face squeezed in confusion, but when she put one and two together. She spranged up. “Seraphina? Seraphina came with 12 and bought the land? Are you trying to crack an anniversary joke? Cos trust me, Marley, shit ain’t funny.”

“Have I ever called to throw a jibe before!?” Marley snapped.

“Oh..my….” Genevieve gasped, losing her mind. She shoved her chair and began rushing out of the room.

“Ma’am,” her manager blocked her way. “We have to finish wrapping up this project toni—”

Genevieve’s palm smacked his cheek, finishing the statement for him with the resounding hit.

“I don’t have the patience to shoot a scene right now! I’m running mad!” She grated, bursting out of the room.

[Kiss Fashion Clan]

Dora knew Saint is at his family Memorial Estates, meaning he won’t be at the road to race tonight.

She spent all her time at the clan, but now she’s getting impatient cos she’s supposed to go clubbing tonight, but the new designs are taking too much time to get sorted.

Anytime she gets a new supply of designs like tonight, it’s always a busya+s night.

And her staffs are moving annoyingly, too. She fired five of them tonight alreadym

As she sat in front of her large workstation computer, swiping and choosing the designs that’ll stay in the glasses and the ones that’ll leave, her staffs arranged the designs.

She swiped out a design, then she swiped back when she noticed it’s not in the glass yet.

“And why is that not in the second floor glass?” She questioned.

“I missed it, I’m sorry, Miss!” A staff apologized fearfully and took it to glass with a run.

“F+k,” Dora relaxed with a groan, resting rubbing her temples for a second before carrying the wide screen in front of her, at once.

That tiny body of hers seemed like it wouldn’t withstand shit, but she actually carried the computer and flung it forward. Screen went apart, body went sideways, batteries and wires curled on the floor.

The computer scattered, literally.

Breathing hard with menacing eyes, she faced that particular staff.

“If you spend the next one minute in this building, I’ll have you bundled and sold to organ hunters!”

She didn’t have to say it twice. The staff rushed into the elevator, and seconds later, she was out of the clan, running like she knew the trueness of that statement. Dora is insane.

Dora fell back on her swivel, and the other staffs quickly got back to work.

Some took care of the shattered computer.

“F+k,” Dora cussed again. “Shit, I need a d+k. I need Saint to f+k this exhaustion out of my system!”

“The rich regular is here, Miss.” A staff reported.

Dora scoffed. “Bexley Hart?”

“Yes, Miss.

Dora was led to the glasses session where they met Bexley in her usual slutty clothes, shopping.

“I was told you came here last night when I wasn’t in.” Dora said as she advanced.

The hitman she sent to keep an eye on her and find out things about her reported that Bexley Hart is a regular in her Fashion Clan.

So…she has been waiting to meet her. Tonight seems like the night.

Bexley dropped the rhinestone dress she’s holding and faced her.

She didn’t smile.

Bexley is a kind who won’t hide it if she dislikes someone.

“Oh, it’s the youngest CEO in the country,” she said indifferently. “Heard you started designing good at the age of 10, and that’s why now that you’re 20, you’re mad rich, cos you’ve been in operation for ten years. That’s cray cray.”

“Oh, I love cray cray,” Dora maintained her fake smile, stylishly checking Bexley out.

While Dora is skinny, Bexley is slim but not completely flat cos her burst has something to show.

But the face card? Dora immediately marked herself as the top.

Bexley’s face card can never and will never compare.

“Of course you love cray cray,” Bexley responded, still blank. “Heard you spent few months in rehab cos you were suffering from schizophrenic signs. You tried to drown yourself in your bathtub.”

Dora stopped walking, right in front of Bexley, tension so foggy.

“Oh you made checks about me, that’s so fuckin cute.”

“I don’t need to make checks on you to know what you entail,” Bexley shrugged, picking the rhinestone dress back. “Your family story is public meal. Also, you’re on the list of people I don’t like, of course I know every ill stuff about you, including the fact that you’re racist.”

Dora looked down, her smile turning sour. Her big earrings dangled, then she looked up again.

“You don’t like me, but you’re a regular in my store?”

“Unique, right?” Bexley rested her palms on her cart handles. “I hate everyone in that family of yours, but luckily, you don’t top the list. I hate Seraphina more.”

“That’s understandable, I hate her too, and she’s not family. She got disowned. Are you from the caves? You don’t listen to the news?” Dora’s shoulders rosel.

“Your Mama and Papa gave birth to her, so she’s your sister. Give me a damn break.” Bexley began pushing her filled cart away.

“Aren’t you Allison’s sister?” Dora talked, resting her head leisurely on the glass beside her.

Bexley looked back.

“If you already know, why ask?” She made faces and left.

Dora smiled hauntingly, savagely. She kept her head rested on that glass. “She got mouth, I like that. She’ll entertain hell with that mouth when she I finally send her there to rot.”

“Miss! Your phone!” A staff rushed to her with her red phone.

From the staff’s hand, she swiped green. It’s Kimmy.

“Bitch, why the f+k are you on my phone?”

“Whore, there’s a mishap. Things went wrong.” Kimmy’s restless voice replied sharply.

“I love mishaps. So who’re we setting straight this time?” Dora’s sighed, fiddling with her nails.

“This ain’t a mock call, Dora. Frump bought the Baron West land for 12 Billion!” Kimmy informed.

Dora lifted her head from the glass immediately, frowning.

“First, there’s no way that thing would get 12. Shit, she ain’t even got 100k in her account. Second, she appeared in person to buy? Same slut hiding from the eyes of cops?”

“I am not joking, Dora. You better get your arse here!” Kimmy spat.

The call ended, and Dora stood there for few seconds, trying to reprocess, but everything kept failing.

“Get my my f+kin bag from my desk,” She told the staff. “And get the Porsche keys!”

[Savior’s Alive Church]

Till the general counselling ended, Nun Ruth didn’t return inside.

She stood behind the Church, ruminating. It’s worse now.

Her head is flooded with numerous images of Tobias d+k. She couldn’t even think straight.

The images kept coming.

It became too much she felt herself getting turned on.

“No….” She held her head in her palms, resisting. “No….don’t do this to me, don’t make me slip back…”

Moisture gathered in her eyes, falling down her cheeks.

She didn’t stop loving him, but she had locked up her feelings cos of what he did to her in Uni.

They were f+k mates, but she fell hard for him and made the mistake of posting his picture and using BOYFRIEND as hashtag.

Tobias visited her hostel that same night with twelve girls from his cult.

Maybe cos he hates beating girls. To him, no girl can survive even one minute beating from him.

She’ll die, and that won’t be fun.

So he allowed his cult girls to beat her to stupor. They waterboarded her till she had only a tiny string of life left in her lungs. Then, they tied her upside down on her ceiling.

They left her there, almost dead. It was her hostel mates who found her the next morning and took her to the hospital for medical attention.

She was bedridden for two months, and when she healed, she decided it was time to return to God, so she forged her way to Church, became a Nun and dedicated her time to holiness.

Now, that gift of holiness is slipping away. How could she be getting images of his c+k in her head? How could she be getting turned on?

What is wrong with her?

She wiped her tears with her palms and sniffled, eyes slightly red.

She buried her face in her palms.

Inside the Church, the counselling is already over, and the workers are trooping out of the building already.

They trooped in twos and threes till Tobias himself came out last.

Grimm was waiting for him outside the Church. Tobias knew something was amiss when he saw it.

“The dog?” Nun Estelle smiled when she saw Grimm. “It’s cute, though.”

Ignoring her attention-seeking act, Tobias followed Grimm’s lead, to the Rectory. Grimm took him to the bookshelves where the wall has been punched in and destroyed.

The room looks like a madhouse with weak wall plasters laying around and books from the shelves filling the ground to a certain point.

Shelves fell apart, on top of each other. The door was even left ajar.

Tobias made no move. Grimm looked at him, and he gave the head of the dog a slight stroke.

Jude entered the Rectory to talk to him about Seraphina, but when he saw the scene, he gasped.

“Jesus! What happened here?”

“Get me the damn footage of this building cameras,” Tobias said.

Jude blinked, chewing the cuss word in his mouth. “Damn?”

“Get. Me. The. F+kin’. Footage.” Tobias faced him with a dangerously scorned look which made only half of his eyeballs show.

“Y…yes, Father.” Jude stepped back, rushing out.

Tobias didn’t move from where he stood. He didn’t blink, too.

Till Jude returned five minutes later with the flashdrive from the church screen room.

Tobias took it and grabbed his laptop. He unlocked it, and a porn video was what first played.

Jude quickly looked away.

Tobias inserted the flashdrive and watched the Rectory footage from three hours ago.

He saw them. The five men.

Their faces and might be covered to their necks, but their leader didn’t cover his neck well.

He has a tattoo on his neck. A red tattoo which looks like it belongs to a certain organization.

Tobias got it immediately.

He didn’t close down the laptop before facing Jude.

“Get me my girlfriend. Enter the cellar, and slide the wall open.”

Jude left for the cellar and returned with the box containing Mayhem.

Tobias took it with a snatch and left the rectory.

He drove out by himself without waiting for Jude.

Driving out of the compound, he saw a truck in front of the gate, parked with bloody black roses decorating the top and body.

It looks exactly like the truck that the first carved body was delivered with.

No doubt, another body is on this new truck—the second body.

But he’s too busy right now to check what’s carved on the body.

So, he zoomed off.
