I walked out of the bathroom, Rico was with a glass of whiskey still looking outside the balcony, do it, do it my head kept telling me but what if he reject it, I would forever regret this, he would not reject it he likes women, I walked to where he was and stood behind him

” what do you want bethel??” he asked quietly as I stood there without saying anything

” you are deaf now right,” he said and he turn around

” you…………..” he didn’t complete his words as soon as he saw me

” what the hell are you doing??” he asked almost yelling, I touched his chest

” what about giving you something for standing up for me,” I said as he stood in front of me dumbstruck

” you would like this off right??” I began to unbutton his shirt and he kept looking at me I stare at him nervously, and he smirked then immediately kiss me, it was a passionate and gentle kiss, I felt like I have never been kissed like that, although this isn’t the first time the first one wasn’t as good as this!!!

” Why don’t we take this off,” he said and was about to remove my bikini, I held his hands

” not yet, I think yours will go first,” I said he looked at me confused

” do we have to argue every time??” he asked and began to button his shirt back

” what are you doing??* I asked

” wearing my shirt because I don’t want you to seduce me anymore, I have someone to beat up” my heart skipped immediately he said someone to beat up

” beat who,” I asked

” your best friend, darling I’m very smart, (1) you can’t just throw yourself at me (2) do you think I would let you and my cousin talk alone without finding a plan to talk to your worthless best friend and (3) I overheard you talking to him in the bathroom, I’m not that easy to fool” why does he always have to be smart

” They are madly in love with each other,” I said

” love??, does love even exist in my family?” he asked

” Yeah, I guess your mom and dad,” I said

” who cares, I’m so going to beat the hell out of him,” he said and walked out of the room, I quickly took his white robe and ran out.

” what do you want from her” I heard Rico say as I entered her room

” Rico I promise that I can explain but please don’t hurt him,” Jasmine said as she stood in front of Cole

“I guess you would want to go back to your father,” Rico said, Cole went closer to Rico

” can’t you just let her be??” Cole angrily said

” you son of a bitch” Rico said then punched him in his face ” you can beat me as much as you want but you can’t keep me away from Jasmine, she is my life,” he said and Rico punched him again

” stop it Rico” Jasmine yelled as Rico kept punching him, I tried to stop him but I couldn’t, Cole was already bleeding, and I’m just in a robe, I immediately stood in front of Cole and Rico mistakenly punched me on my head, it hurts, Is this how Cole feels like??

Rico Shawn POV

I felt like killing this jerk, Jasmine and bethel kept shouting like fools but I never expected bethel to stand at his front making me hit her. I could see that she was so dizzy and she passed out!!!

” Bethel” I called and hold her quickly from preventing her from falling on the floor.

” you caused it if you had used those things upstairs bethel and Cole wouldn’t have to be in this condition” Jasmine yelled, Cole was able to stand, and he pushed me.

” don’t come close to her,” he said as he held bethel even though he was injured.

” bethel are you okay?? he whispered.

” take your boyfriend to the hospital while I take care of bethel,” I said

” oh now he is my boyfriend, do you even know what is love? no you don’t because you feel it is just a common thing, is it because you and bethel don’t love each other but let me tell you something, you are having feelings for her but you don’t show it and you don’t know it” she said angrily, I have feelings for bethel?? no I don’t.

I carried bethel into the room, why do women have to be so weak, it was only a punch, what about Cole??, I looked at my robe on her body it looks so perfect, her head was swollen, I felt like slapping her for fainting for just a common punch… I went into the bathroom and then brought a small quantity of water, I sprinkled it on her face and waited for 30 seconds she is not yet up, I sprinkled it on her face again and she slowly began to open her eyes, she touched her head.

” What happened??” she asked.

” that happened” I replied pointing at her swollen head, she touched the place.

” you hit me right??” she asked.

” maybe or maybe it’s because of your best friend”.

” you are not even remorseful” I rolled my eyes.

” you are a beast and also a…………… whatever, you almost killed him, do you know he is the father of your niece or nephew and I’m the godmother” she yelled angrily.

” shut up and treat yourself”.

” you can even take care of me,” she said, I stood up from the bed, opened the door, and went to the sitting room.

” well, well, well” I turn around and I saw Katherine looking at me with her two hands crossed on her chest.

” hey ” I called, she rolls her eyes.

” What did I do this time?” I asked as she looked at me angrily.

” I’m going to bring my boyfriend over for dinner by 9 pm and also a sleepover and I don’t need any inconveniences and any fighting with him and besides, I broke up with kelvin because he is a friend to another girl” she explained as I nodded my head in response.

” And besides I heard Jasmine is pregnant and she is going to be having a little monster like me” thank God she knows that she is a monster.

” Sorry I meant you” I know she will never insult herself

” But I just want to tell you do not hurt her or even dream of making her cry or else, hmmmmmmm your expensive hair gel will be thrown into the swimming pool opened and you would have to wait for 2 days before it is supplied from Australia,” she said as she smirked. she hasn’t even allowed me to talk, what a rude sis.

” get the maid to get the tables ready,” she said.

” they are on a break,” I said.

” well I guess you can help me with something and besides, where is bethel?” she asked.

” she is sick,” I said as she panicked.

” oh my God, you couldn’t even take care of her, make sure you prepare the tables and also order some food,” she said.

bethel POV

the door opened showing Katherine, she looked at me with a smile.

” bethel,” she called and ran to hug me.

” How are you today?” I asked.

” Great, what about you?” she asked.

” same” I replied.

” Rico is a very big jerk, like how do you cope with him?” she asked as I smiled looking at her ” yeah, I was able to do that because he is just a baby that I can handle easily,” I said proudly.

” Anyway, I’m having dinner with my new boyfriend, his name is Carl, age 8,” she said.

” what about kelvin?” I asked.

” oh kelvin, he dumped me for another girl, although I still like him, I broke up with him because he was talking to that same stupid girl, he needs to apologize” she explained.

” it’s not bad to talk to another girl, it is just a normal conversation,” I said.

” yeah, he was helping her to hold her bag just because she is a nine-year-old girl, can you imagine? she explained asking.

” they Are just friends,” I said.

” Why do you always have to be hardheaded,” I asked as she roll her eyes, she stood up from the bed and walked towards the bathroom opened the door of the water, and a towel.

” I will help you with your head,” she said.
