“Sir the truth is that i and Jasmine were good friends ever since we are kids, we grew fond of each other and i find out how much i love her and fortunately for me she also feel the same way for me. We were happy with each other but she ruined everything she misund-erstood me then broke up with me and left to the states. She never picked up my calls nor replied to any my messages she left me so heart broken and now that she’s back she still have the guts to say she love me and want us back together but i said no, because i have move on, i don’t love her anymore,” i said while he sighed.

“i can’t believe all this happen between you and my daughter and you couldn’t tell me,” he said so pissed off.

“am sorry,” i said while he just nodded”

“okay then, i just want you to keep on being friends with her, am not forcing you to love her but please i don’t want my daughter to be hurt nor shed any tears. I don’t want her to experience what happen between me and her mom, all i want is for her to be happy,” he said while i nodded.

“i just wish Jasmine will und-erstand. Trust me, i won’t do anything to hurt her but i hope she und-erstands me too,” i said while he just nodded.

“i und-erstand you Ethan and i will make her und-erstand too,” he said while i smile a bit.

?I arrived home late in the night and i know Chloe must have left. I was so exhausted and angry at the same time. Jasmine is such a killjoy, she thinks her father can make me love her after what she did to me. I took my shower then get something to eat. I was still at the sitting room watching a movies but actually my mind wasn’t their, i was only staring at the screen. I can’t believe just these few days Chloe is already getting into me, why did i miss her this much.

“Ethan,” Declan called then sat down beside me.

“you seems lost,” he said while i nodded.

“busy with work these days, am tired,” i said while he smiled.

“care for some drink? he asked
“no… ” i replied.

“so why were you mad at Chloe in the morning? he asked while i looked at him.

“it simple, it because she didn’t come to work yesterday, remember i paid her, i don’t need a lazy person like her,” i yelled getting annoyed already.

“huh..are you sure that the only problem? he asked again while i nodded.

“am so tired Declan, i just need to go and sleep,” i said then stood up and went to my room. I picked up my phone then saw four missed calls from Jasmine. I just smirk then threw the phone on my table.

?Declan’s POV?

The day was kinda good because no work and that means am at home i ask Chloe to teach me how to prepare some common meals, i couldn’t help but to keep stealing glances at her, she’s just so beautiful. After making different meals, we ate together and i was glad she feels comfortable around me, i thought she don’t like me because of my recent behavior towards her.

“so who thought you how to cook? i asked while she smiled.
“my mom, look i guess you and your brother have anger issues, you were always mad at me and now seems like it Ethan’s turn to get mad at me, are you sure you guys are okay at all,” she asked while i laughed.

“am sorry for my behaviors, i always have a bad day at work and also.. about my life,” i said sadly.

“what! what happen? she asked.

“by next week it gonna be sixteen years after death of my mom, i miss her so much” i said sadly.

“huh.. am sorry, you mean you lost your mother ever since you’re young? she quickly asked rushing her words.

“yes, she died when i was nine years, it hasn’t been easy for me, i thought am gonna end up being the worst enemy to Ethan but i realise that he’s still my brother and my blood, i guess mom was also at fault, aunt Patricia wanted to poison my mind but thank goodness i never agreed to any of those things,”

“i thought you’re from the same parents with Ethan, am really sorry,” she said sadly while i just nodded.

“am fine now, that was all in the past,” i said.

“okay then, to cheer up your mood tell me about your childhood memories? she asked while i smiled.

“well it was so fun much especially having my brother Ethan and also Jasmine, but i later left to Germany to studies, that was when Ethan court Jasmine but the relationship didn’t work out because of lack of trust,” i said while she look interested to know more.

“is she now his ex?
“yes, i guess they’ll fix things up because she still love him,” i said while she gasped.

“she still love him? she asked surprise.

“yes, to me Jasmine is lovely to be with, she can sometimes she so full of herself and act so tough but she’s nice. I keep hoping Ethan should und-erstand her one day, she truly love him,” i said while Chloe smile a little.

“so can you help me get closer to Jasmine, i mean i want to be friends with her, i like her so much especially her designs, i sometimes wish to be like her,” she said smiling.

“Jasmine! well am sure she’ll like that. Jasmine likes me a lot and she ask me several times to talk to Ethan. But the only way Jasmine can be friends with you is, if only you can make Ethan return back to her, am sure she’ll be happy about that,” i said while she smiled.

“anything for her, i love her so much, and will do that, as far as she becomes my friend” she chuckle while i smile. Jasmine is kinda tough, doesn’t she knows that?

… “okay then, let just stroll, i want to show you lots of places around this house, the garden, the swimming pool and all you need to know,” i said while she smile.

We took a stroll and i was so happy, this girl is making me go crazy, she seems friendly, nice and fun to with and she smiles a lot.

“so tell me about your family? i asked then held her hand, i know she was surprise by that, she just look at how our fingers are entangled then she quickly sli-ps hers away from hers, maybe she isn’t use to all these.

“nothing much about my family,” she said while i just nodded, maybe she don’t want to talk about it..

“the garden looks so beautiful,” she smile as we walked in..

?Jasmine’s POV?

I was at the club getting myself drunk, seems Ethan was right about what he said but am not gonna let that happen. Ethan is mine and mine alone, i love him and i’ll have him to myself as well.

“hey babe,” a male voice said. I raise my head and saw the guy, it was Francis my old friend who i knew always have a crush for me but i turn him down, he’s just too annoying for my liking. I admit he’s rich and handsome but he’s just not my type of guy, it Ethan i want.

“Francis.. what the heck are you doing here? i asked then frown.
“it a good thing i see you again, you look sad,” he said while i laughed sarcastically.

“Francis.. can’t you see am fine. I just came here to clear my head and i hope you’ll let me be,” i yelled while he just smile.

“Jasmine.. what’s wrong with you? you still haven’t change but am still waiting because i still love you,” He said making me more annoyed.

“okay then if you love me and i want you to help me out,” i said looking straight to his eyes.
“what did you need this time? he asked.

“i need you to help me get what rightfully belongs to me,” i said with a smirk.

?Erica’s POV?

I was at the club, Ethan call me to meet him their and i wonder what’s he’s going tell me this time.

“Erica, i called you here to ends things with you,” he said while my heart beat more fast-er.
“what did you mean? i asked in a shaky voice.

“am sorry, i

don’t want to keep on deceiving you. Yes i like you but i don’t love you,” he said while i felt so angry with him and also myself.

‘then who are you in love with? i asked in anger.

“no one else, i don’t want to end up breaking your heart. I just want to be alone this days cos i have lots of things running in my mind. I have already quit with Jasmine and am not planning to have anyone. I can’t fall in love.. i don’t want to be break broken for the second time,” he said but i quickly hug him. In this few days we’ve meet i love him already and i think i can’t do without him.

“i love you Ethan am not gonna hurt you, i love you so much. Just try to give your heart a second chance,” i said not letting go of him.

“are you sure i can trust you Erica? he asked while i quickly nodded.

“okay then..,” he said while i smiled then ki-ssed him.

“thank you Ethan,” i whisper. Now i have Ethan to myself and am not gonna let him sli-p out of my hands. He’s mine and mine alone.

I guess the war is between Jasmine and Erica..
