Aubrey’s POV

I went to school early the next morning. I don’t know why I feel like going early today.

When I got there, I went to the library to read for the last exam I will be having before prom night.

When it was few minutes before devotion, I took my bag and left the library.

“Aubrey” I heard Liam call behind me

I stopped for a while but then I continued walking.

“Aubrey please you have to hear me out!”

“Stay away from me! I don’t want to see your face” I screamed before walking away

“Aubrey please! For the love we shared, please listen to me” he pleaded on his knees holding my hands and all attention was on us

“Fine! Meet me in the garden” I said and walked away

“Aubrey” Liam called when he got to the garden and I turned to look at him

“You said you have something to say so I’m listening”

“I won’t deny the fact that I and my friends placed a bet on you, it was so foolish of us and I’m really sorry.

But then, I did fall in love with you when we got to know each other more. You can ask Daniel and Jayden if you don’t believe me.

I know I was wrong and I’m really sorry. I promise it won’t happen again and I promise to love you wholeheartedly from now on” he concluded while I let out a scoff

“Really? I shouldn’t have listened to you from the start. Anyway, I’ve forgiven you… ”

“Thank you! Thank you Aubrey!! I love you”

“I’m not done talking. I’ve forgiven you but there can never be us again, it’s over between us. We’re still friends but not lovers. Excuse me!” and with that I walked away

It was really ha-rd saying those things to him but I will never repeat the same mistake. I will rather end things with him now than fall victim the second time.

“Aubrey!” Khloe called lowly when I had almost gotten to cla-ss

I turned around and stared at her for a while.

“What is it Khloe?”

“Are you angry with me?”

“Since when have you known about it?” I asked instead after minutes of silence

“S…since when I and Liam were still together, before you became my friend” she stuttered

“Why did you hide it from me then? I’ve never for once treated you badly. I took you like my own sister but this is what I get in return?”

“No Aubrey, please don’t say that! Not long after I became friends with you, Liam came to me and told me he was now in love with you and the bet was cancelled so I believed him. I never knew it was a lie until yesterday.

The reason why I told you about it on Jayden’s birthday is because I’ve always loved Liam from the start and I thought I would stand a chance with him after you guys break up but I was wrong.

Even though he and his friends placed a bet on me and he took my Virg-inity, I still can’t get him out of my heart. It’s not a feeling I can control.

I know what I did was wrong but if I hadn’t stopped him from sleeping with you, it would have been that he won the bet because the bet was on until yesterday.” she concluded leaving me in shock

“The bet wasn’t cancelled until yesterday? But Liam didn’t tell me. The way he spoke, it was like the bet was called off long before Jayden’s birthday”

“Really? Jayden and Daniel told me they just cancelled the bet yesterday because Liam was miserable” Khloe said confused

Who am I to believe now?

“Either way, I’m really sorry Aubrey. Please forgive me”

“I will think about it. You said something just now, Liam and his friends placed a bet on you?”

“It’s okay. It’s in the past now so let’s forget about it, I’ve gotten over it already”

“Khloe…. ”

“I don’t want to talk about it please” she said sniffing “I will head to cla-ss now” and she turned around and left before I could say a word

So Khloe is also a victim of their bet? Just how many girls have they done this to? No matter what happens, I will never go back to Liam because his past life is just too bad.

Liam’s POV

So Aubrey is never going to forgive me? The one person I’ve fallen helplessly in love with now despises me so much.

This must be karma’s work! All those girls I took advantage of in the past throu-ghthe bet, their spirit must be hunting me now.

Just why did my life take this kind of turn? I walked pathetically to the restroom. There’s no way I will go to cla-ss today because I won’t even be able to hear a single thing!

When school closed, I picked my bag and left the restroom ready to go home.

“Liam!! Why didn’t we see…..” Jayden and Daniel were trying to ask but I cut them off

“Not now guys! We’ll see tomorrow” I said and walked away

Getting to the parking lot, I saw Min Seok and Aubrey holding hands and laughing heartily at each other. So Aubrey doesn’t wants to accept me back because of Min Seok?

This is the highest level of embarra-ssment I’ve ever heard of. After I threatened Min Seok to stay away from Aubrey, he still gets to be the one that wins Aubrey in the end.

I should get going now. I lost!

Min Ju’s POV

I’m going to make Khloe pay today for messing with me. I already a-ssigned some guards to double-cross her on her way home after school. She will be so shocked!

“Are you guys ready?” I called the boys that are to do the job

“Sure. We’re ready!”

“Good! They are about to leave the school now. ra-pe everyone of them in the car and make sure you record the video. un-derstood?”

“Yes ma’am”

Thank goodness Aubrey is in the car with her! I’m going to teach both of them a lesson.

The only person I kind of pity is Natalie because she’s really quiet. Either way, she’s Khloe’s friend and anyone that is her friend is my enemy.

Let me just sit back and watch how this goes. Who will be able to save Khloe from me now?

Aubrey’s POV

As Khloe drove the car, I suddenly started feeling uncomfortable like something bad is about to happen. What’s wrong with me?

“Are you okay Aubrey?” Natalie asked looking worried

“I… I think I’m fine! I just feel like something bad will happen”

“Really? Why will something bad happen? We’re on our way home already” Khloe responded

“Yeah, it’s probably nothing” I said shrugging it off

Just after few minutes, a black van double-crossed us and armed men stepped out. What? Was this why I felt that way?

I quickly pressed the red bu-tton on my wrist before they got to us.

“Open this damn door and get out now!” they thun-dered

We sat in the car there shaking and none of us made an attempt to open the door.

“I’m going to say it for the last time. Open this f-uck ing door now” they said again but we still didn’t try to move

Within the twinkle of an eye, they broke the door and dragged all of us down.

“For making us pa-ss throu-ghthis stress, we’re not going to be gentle with you one bit. stri-p them!” the person I a-ssume to be their boss ordered

What? stri-p us? Does this mean they’re about to ra-pe us? No, I can’t lose my Virg-inity this way. I will rather lose it to Liam than lose it to these beasts in front of us.

Where are these damn guards anyway?

One of the men came to me but before he could even touch me, my guards arrived and subdued them.

“Who sent you?” one of my guards asked

“Do you think we will tell you?” their leader asked with a sm-irk

“Ahh…. You like it tough I see. So be it then”

“Take them to the mansion and lock them up”

My guards helped me into the car and also helped Khloe and Natalie into Khloe’s car.

“Where are you taking her? Why aren’t you putting her in our car?” Khloe asked panicking

“She’s safer with us. Be careful” my guards said before driving off

Who the hell sent those guys to ra-pe us? Why do I have the feeling I know who it is already?

First it was Daniel and now these? I will love to see the reaction on their faces when I reveal my identity on prom night.
