Aubrey’s POV

After school closed, I got into the car with Min Seok and together we went to the place he talked about. I really hope the place helps me forget all my worries because that’s what I really need right now.

We kept driving but we still didn’t arrive at our destination.

“I think we should go back Min Seok! You’ve been driving for hours now, I’m tired already” I whined like a kid

“Come on Aubrey! We’ve come this far and can’t possibly go back now. Besides, we will soon be there, just exercise a little more patience okay?” he said with a wink and I felt my heart flutter

“Here we are!” I heard Min Seok say after about fifteen minutes and I looked up to see a waterfall before us

“Wow!” I said getting down from the car “It looks really beautiful” I said admiring it

“Yeah. I always come here whenever I’m bored. Although, I don’t like coming here frequently because of the distance, but at least someone is here with me today”

“How did you find out about this place?” I asked now looking at him

“I don’t really know but it belongs to me” he said and I mouthed an oh

“It shouldn’t be difficult for someone like you” I said with a shrug

“Someone like me?” he asked and I gulped knowing I’m about to ex-pose myself

“I…. I mean for a rich guy like you, it shouldn’t be difficult” I managed to stutter a reply

“Why do I have a feeling that’s not what you meant?” he asked raising his brows

“What did I mean then? Gosh! Your thoughts run too wild”

“Whatever! Will you like to go in?” he asked pointing at a house that looked like a mini castle

“Sure! It looks beautiful!”

We got to the gate and Min Seok only placed his palm on the gate before it opened wide while I looked on in amusement.

“How did you do that?”

“It’s just like a pa-ssword, it’s common”

“Ohh….” I simply said and kept quiet

Although, I’ve seen it in movies but I’ve never seen one in real life because I only attend concerts and award shows.

Min Seok opened the white door that led to the main house and I met yet another amazing sight. Wow! This guy is just too good!

“Do you like it?”

“Like? No, I love it!” I said running my hands on the wall

“You’re the only person I’ve brou-ght here ever since I bought it” he said making me turn to look at him

“Really? What about your sister or girlfriend?”

“I don’t have a sister, I’m the only child of my parents and I don’t have a girlfriend”

“Why? Is there no girl you like?”

“Well…. There is a girl I like actually but she doesn’t feel the same way. Besides, she’s dating another guy”

“Why didn’t you confess your feelings to her earlier before someone else took her?”

“I wasn’t sure of my feelings at first but when I became sure, it was too late”

“Ohh… Sorry about that. I just hope that girl knows there’s someone out there that truly loves her”

“I hope so too but even if I date her, I don’t want to get married to her”

“Huh? Why is that so? If she’s someone you love, then nothing should stop you from getting married to her”

“There’s actually someone I want to get married to. Are you a fan of K-Pop?”

“Yes”

“Good! So you should know about a K-Pop artist whose stage name is Byeol. I’ve always liked her and I want to get married to her even though I haven’t seen her face before” he said and I felt my breath hitch

He wants to get married to Byeol which is me? Oh goodness! What have I gotten myself into?

My birthday is just few days away and I plan to reveal my face to the world after which I will reveal my identity to the students in my school on prom night.

“Aubrey? Aubrey!!” Min Seok called snapping me out of my thoughts

“H…. Huh?”

“What’s wrong? You suddenly went quiet”

“Uhhm….. I’m fine. I just remember I have some things to do at home, can we come here some other time? Please”

He stared at me weirdly before turning to leave. Throu-ghout the ride back home, no one said a word to each other. The only sound that could be heard was that of the radio.

“Thanks Min Seok” I said when we arrived at Samantha’s house

“You’re welcome! But are you sure you’re fine? I mean… ”

“I’m fine, just tired” I cut him off with a fake smile

I walked sluggishly inside the house and slumped on the chair when I got in.

“What’s wrong this time?” Samantha asked walking in with a gla-ss of wine

“You’re un-derage Sam, you shouldn’t be taking this” I scolded

“Really? I’m going to be eighteen soon” she said with an eyeroll dropping the gla-ss on the table

I picked the gla-ss of wine and sipped little out of it while Sam stared at me in astonishment

“Wow! That’s a first! Now I know something is really wrong. Spill it!”

“Min Seok told me his lifelong dream has always been to get married to Byeol. What do I do? He’s going to find out about me soon”

“I.. I don’t know what to say. I think you should reveal your identity to him before your birthday”

“I can’t do that! But what’s going to happen when he discovers I’m Byeol? Is he going to get married to me?”

“Are you this dumb? Why will he want to get married to someone that has deceived him all these while?”

“Whatever! I will be in my room”

“Your room or mine?”

“Have you forgotten I also have a room here?” I asked with a sm-irk

“Suit yourself!”

I’m only trying to act strong, de-eper down I’m kind of nervous and scared. What will Khloe think of me?

I don’t know what’s worse between what she did and what I’m doing. I just hope things go well on prom night.

Liam’s POV

I drank the fifth bottle of wine out of ten bottles. I don’t think I have a reason to live anymore, my life is a mess!

“Stop Liam! You’re going to hurt yourself at this rate!” Jayden yelled for the umpteenth time

“So what? What if I hurt myself? Aubrey is gone so I definitely have no reason to live”

“You want to kill yourself because of Aubrey? What’s so special about her anyways? She’s just an ugly girl we placed a bet one” Daniel said angrily

“Say one more bad word about Aubrey and you will see the other side of me. She’s really special to me, I just wish I didn’t place a bet on her”

“You can still explain things to her. You placed a bet on her at first but you fell in love with her along the line! She’ll definitely un-derstand” Jayden said

“Will you un-derstand if it were you?” I asked staring at them pathetically but they looked away

“Errm…. I’m sure Aubrey will un-derstand, she’s really soft hearted”

“So I should take advantage of her because she’s soft hearted?”

“Still, this won’t solve the issue. You’re only hurting yourself!” Daniel yelled

“Until Aubrey forgives me and accept me back, I won’t stop drinking. I will try talking to her tomorrow and I do hope she listens to me”
