Garrett didn’t really know where to take Irene to. He just drove round the city.

“Uh,where do you want to go?” He asked Irene.

Irene sh0t him a ha-rd glare and diverted her gaze.

“I don’t know where” she replied.

“I have no idea where to take you” he murmured.

Irene smiled weirdly and stared at Garret.

“Guess what? If you don’t know where to take me to, take me home”

Garret laughed.

“I don’t think I should. I don’t know when it’s possible for me to take you out again” he said and drove off.

He had a quic-k idea and drove to a fancy restaurant.

Irene stared at the building and sl@pped her forehead.

“Really? Do you like remembering me about my sister’s murderer?” She asked.

It was the restaurant Jayden and Irene went to on their d@t£.

“I’m not Jayden. I’ll treat you well. I promise” he said calmly.

“Whatever” she said and opened the door.

They both went into the building. They sat opposite each other. Irene was feeling uncomfortable with the way people were staring at her.

It was because she was with Garrett.

Even some of the chefs c@m£ out to check on the prince and Irene.

Some were even envy of Irene.

“Who is she? How can she be with the prince?”

“Yeah. I saw her the last time. They were together at the mall. I think they are d@t!ng”

“No, prince Garrett is for me”

Garret diverted his gaze from the menu and stared at Irene.

“Are we d@t!ng?” He asked.

Irene raised her eyebrows and sm-irked.

“What makes you think we are d@t!ng?” She asked.

“People said we are d@t!ng” he said slowly.

“Really? While, that’s them. This is us. So, don’t think about anything” Irene said and continued staring at the menu.

A waitress arrived to take their orders.

“Good day my prince, what will you like to have?” He asked.

“Uh, Irene. What do you want to eat?” He asked.

Irene dropped the menu on the table and folded her arms.

“I’ll take treat four” she said.

“I’ll also take treat four” he said to the waiter.

“Okay, I’ll be right back” the waiter said and left.

Garret stared at Irene, smiling.

Irene smiled in reply.

“This fool doesn’t know what he just ordered” she thought.

The waiter arrived after some minutes, he placed the meal on their table.

“Here are your orders” he said and left.

“Thanks” Irene said and watched as the waiter left.

She turn to stare at Garret face only to see him in shock.

“What happened? Can’t you eat?” She asked.

“What is this?” He asked.

“It’s just pig meat and raw pepper” she replied.

“What the..? Irene why and how do you eat this stuff?” He asked.

Irene neglected his question and started eating.

Garrett remembered when they went to his pig farm and saw how pig were so dirty.

He pushed the plate towards Irene.

“You can eat them all” he said.

Irene smiled and take the plate.

Garret watched as she ate all the food.

People were still staring at them.

“I can’t believe he gave the food to her” they murmured.

Irene finally ate the whole food.

Garret raised his hand.

“Two glas-s of jui-ce. Chilled one!”

“That was good” she mumbled un-der her breath.

Garret shook his head.

“You are strange” he said.

Irene covered her mouth and tried not to laugh too much.

“Come on, let’s go alre-ady”

“Yeah, after we take our jui-ce. You are something spicy and didn’t take any water. Are you crazy?” He asked.

The waiter finally c@m£.

Irene gr@bb£d the glas-s and gulped down the jui-ce.

She stood up and stared at Garret.

“I’ll be waiting in the car baby!” She said and left.

Garret turn to stare at the waiter.

“My bills” he said.

He paid and also left. He didn’t know why he was smiling.

Probably because Irene called him baby.

He got to the car and started the engine.

“Where do you go now baby?” Garret asked.

“Don’t call me baby” she said.

“But you…”

“I did that because of those bit-ches staring at me. I know they want to kill me because I’m with you”

“So, you did that to protect yourself and me. You don’t want anyone to steal me away from you” he furrowed his eyebrows.

“What the… What are you saying? Take me home now!” She folded her arms acting like a baby.

Garret laughed and drove off.

He drove into the estate and st©pped in front of her house.

They both alight from the car.

“Aren’t you scared living alone in here?” He asked.

“Uh, no. Why do you ask?” She asked.

“Because you can come back to the palace if you want” he win-ked.

“No, I’m not coming back to the palace” she replied.

Garret frowned.

“Why?”

“Nothing. I just don’t want to. The palace is safe without me. A lot of drama keep happening with me around” she lowered her gaze.

Garret placed his hand on her shoulders.

“Irene, you are not te cause if all that. Just plea-se, come back to the palace” he said.

“Sure, I’ll come” she said.

“Thanks goodness” he sighed.

“When the wanted v!rg!nis found. I’ll be there to watch the wedding. You should also try your best now, even once. Just see your luck” she said.

“No irene. I don’t nee-d to become the next king. If I want to get married, I want to marry you Irene” he confessed.

Irene sm-irked and lowered her gaze.

She freed herself from Garret’s hold.

“You should go now. It’s getting late” Irene said and went into the house.

Garret kicked the tire of the car angrily.

“Why couldn’t I control myself? I nee-d to talk to father, he can be able to convince her” he entered into the car and zoomed off.

Irene entered into the house and locked the door from behind. She stood silent for thirty seconds as she heard Garret’s car zooming off.

“He wants to marry me!!!’ she yelled and ran into her room, happily.
