Garrett alighted from his car, smiling for no reason. He wished his cheek could come down but it’s not.

He walked towards the throne and saw his father dismissing some soldiers.

“How’s my son doing?” The king asked.

“Very well father” Garrett replied. It’s been a long time since he spoke to his father.

“You must be here for a reason so spill it”

“Thanks father” Garret said. Even his father knows him too well alre-ady.

“Father, Irene doesn’t want to come back”

“Okay. So, what do you want me to do about that?” He asked his son.

“Father, you said Irene is like a daughter to you. You don’t you want her back”

King Zen walked from his throne to his son.

“Garrett, don’t misquote me. This is her home. She can come here anytime she wants. But if she doesn’t want to, then don’t f0rç£ her”

“But father… I want her here”

“I know you love her. Everyone loves her, I also love Irene. She’s a sweet girl and thanks to her, the queen is alive. Fredrick is well”

“Father, can you at least try talk to her? Tell her something that will make her come back to the palace” he said.

The king sighed de-eply.

“Fine, tell her to come see me tomorrow”

“Thanks Father, I’ll do just that” Garrett said and left the throne.

Garrett walked towards the hallway and heard his brothers voice.

He opened the door and saw them in Irene’s former room.

“Why are you guys here?” He asked.

“Oh, look who is here. The guy who proves to be Irene’s girlfriend” Leo said as he sle-pt on Irene’s be-d.

Garret frowned and walked towards him.

“So, why are you guys here?” He asked again, neglecting what Leo said.

“We are just arranging Irene’s room before she comes back” Fredrick replied.

Garret squee-zed his face and stared round. He saw as they were really doing the opposite.

“St©p st©p! Why are you moving the wardrobe there? Irene won’t like it that way. Just leave it the way it was. It’s perfect that way” he said angrily and left.

Tony dropped his magazine and stared at Garret as he left.

“What’s his problem?”

“He’s just obsessed with her. I think we should all go see her tomorrow. I’ve missed her a lot” Leo said.

“Yeah me too”

Garret got into the room and threw himself to the be-d. He recollect everything that happened.

He remembered when he told Irene that he would want to get married to her.

He turned and covered his face with his pillow.

The next morning, Irene woke up and cleaned the whole house.

She got a message from Garret.

“Why does the king want to see me?” She asked herself.

She threw her phone to the be-d and continued cleaning.

After bathing, she got dressed and went to the palace.

She kept on checking what she was wearing if it was good.

“This is the first time I’m checking myself out. Why am I doing so?” She murmured.

She got to the palace and paid the cab.

She checked herself once again before stepping into the palace.

All the maids greeted her as she walked pas-s them. Some of them were staring at her like they want to strangle her.

Irene rolled her eyes and walked away.

As she got into the throne room, she remembered the first day she entered into the palace.

King Zen saw her and adjusted his seat.

“Come Irene!”

Irene walked towards him and bowed.

“Greetings my king”

“And to you to my daughter. How are you doing?” He asked.

“Very well, thank you” she replied, lowering her gaze.

“Irene, Garret told me that you refused to come back to the palace. May I know the reason?” He asked.

Irene didn’t know what to say. She doesn’t even know the reason why she don’t want to come back to the palace.

“Umm, my king. I really don’t know why I don’t want to come here. I feel I’m the cause of most of the problem. My sister is gone, princess Rachel in prison and the princes aren’t concentrating on looking for the wanted vir-gin. I hope that once I’m gone, everything will be back to normal” she said.

“Fine, I un-derstand what you just said. But you have to consider the people that want you here. The queen misses you so much, everyone miss you. Your sister will be back very soon, what are we going to tell her?”

Irene realized what the king was saying is very correct.

What would happen to Zoe? She has lost her first sister, she doesn’t want to lost the second one.

“I’ll think about it my King” she replied.

“Very good. Now do me a favor and check on the queen”

“Thank you, my king” she bowed and left the throne room.

She found her way to the queen’s room.

As she knocked the door, she heard a quic-k response.

“Come in!”

Irene pushed the door open and entered into the bright room.

The queen saw Irene and jumped out of be-d.

“Oh Irene” she hvgged her ti-ght.

“How have you been?” She asked.

“I’m fine my queen” Irene replied.

“Are you finally back?!”

Irene shook her head.

“Not yet my queen” she replied.

The queen heart fell when she heard that response.

“You made me happy at first now you’ve made me sad. Why don’t you want to.come back? This is your home!”

“I’ll be back very soon my queen” Irene replied.

“Sure Irene. Take good care of yourself till then. Now that I’ve seen you, I’m happy”

Irene smiled weirdly and left the room.

She sighed and walked towards the throne room.

She heard laughs from her own room.

“That’s weird” she said and quic-kly entered the room.

She saw four grown up kids in her room, laying on her be-d.

“Don’t you all have things to do”

“Irene!!!” They all yelled and ran towards her.

Irene moved away from them.

“I think you should wear something before tou-ching me”

“Huh?”

They realize they were only on towels.

Irene rolled her eyes and left the room.

“I can’t believe Irene saw me on towel” Leo pretended to cry.

“I shouldn’t be worried. She has seen me n-ked before” Garrett said smiling weirdly.

“Gross… I wonder what she saw” Frederick said and covered his mouth.

Garret stood up and threw a towel at him.

His towel fell from his w@!st again.

Irene heard all of them laugh again.

“I think I should go in now” she said and….
