Liam’s POV

Two weeks later

My relationship with Aubrey has been going smoothly for the past two weeks and I can say I’m grateful for that.

Jayden and Daniel haven’t made any move lately. In fact, they’ve stayed away from Aubrey completely and I like that but the bet is still on.

We haven’t called it off yet and it’s giving me a ha-rd time. What if Jayden and Daniel are planning something?

How I wish we didn’t place a bet on Aubrey from the start! I would have just enjoyed my relationship with her and not have anything to worry about.

But now that I made a mistake from the start, I can’t just ignore it and continue the relationship. I have to sort things out with Jayden and Daniel first.

Isn’t there anything I can do to make them leave Aubrey alone? Shit! I’m going insane!

Min Ju’s POV

My friendship with Min Seok has been going on smoothly these past days and I’m really happy with the progress we’re making.

Looks like he’s beginning to like me, so it’s just a matter of time before we get to have se-x and after that, I’m done with him.

The only thing giving me headache now is Liam and Aubrey’s relationship. Why does Aubrey like bitting more than she can chew?

She and Liam are obviously not of the same status but she still has the guts to date him and make their relationship a open one.

I know I’m definitely going to kill that girl before I leave this school because she gets on my nerves all the time.

I watched she and Liam angrily as they held hands smiling lovingly at each other. What’s so special about her anyway?

Thank God Min Seok has gotten over her evil charms. If not, I would have made her life a living hell.

Khloe’s POV

I walked out of cla-ss and went to my car as usual. This has been my everyday routine. Aubrey has a boyfriend now and Natalie is always too busy so I’m left alone.

“How are you doing Khloe?” I heard a guy’s voice behind me and I turned back to discover it was Min Seok

“I’m fine Min Seok. How are you too?”

“I guess I’m fine. Why are you alone? What of Aubrey and Natalie?” he asked looking around

“Aubrey is with Liam and Natalie is busy” I answered with a sad smile

“Ohh….. One of them should have stayed with you. Are you going home now?”

“Yes … I don’t have any other thing to do”

“Okay. Can we go out together? Maybe we should just go to the beach”

“O… Kay” I stuttered

“Alright, let’s go” he said and got into my car and we drove to the beach

“I’ve always loved the beach, the view is usually beautiful” Min Seok said taking in the view

“Yeah…. It really is beautiful especially when you’re with the right person” I supported

“Is something wrong?” Min Seok asked taking a sit beside me

“No” I answered simply

“But you don’t sound like nothing is wrong, you sound like an heartbroken person. Did something happen between you and your boyfriend?”

“No, I don’t even have one” I said with a sad smile

“You don’t have one? Nah, I don’t believe you” he said shaking his head

“But I’m serious, I don’t have one”

“How will a pretty girl like you not have a boyfriend?” he asked in disbelief

“Well, maybe because I’m pretty and not beautiful”

“You’re beautiful, I mean it. So…. is there someone you like?”

“Yeah, I think so”

“Wow! Does the person feel the same way”

“No, I don’t think so”

“Why?? Is he a student in our school?” he asked and I just nodded my head slowly

“Really? Who is he?”

“I can’t tell you that”

“Okay, sorry if I was too forward. My case is just like yours. There’s someone I like but she doesn’t feel the same way and she’s dating someone I’m not in good terms with. Isn’t it almost the same thing?” he asked staring at me and I also stared back

“Uhhm…. It’s almost the same. Can I know who the girl is?”

“It’s someone you know. Aubrey!” he said and I turned to look at him in shock

“Aubrey is the girl you love?”

“Yes, any problem?”

“No. But the guy I was talking about is Liam”

“Really? Wow! This is the most twisted thing I’ve ever heard. Aubrey and Liam are in a relationship but there are people who love both of them? Just wow! What are you going to do now?”

“What can I do? I can only accept my fate, that’s all”

“I guess we should be best of friends since we have a lot in common, right?”

“Sure! I don’t even have a male friend so it will be nice to have one”

“Alright. It’s getting late, let’s go home”

Aubrey’s POV

After school closed, I and Liam waited behind as usual. Our detention was already over since last week but we usually wait behind to spend time with each other after school.

“Jayden’s birthday will be coming up soon and I want you to attend the party”

“Uhhm…. I’m sorry but I won’t be attending, I don’t like parties” I said truthfully

“But why? There’s nothing wrong with parties”

“I know! I didn’t say there’s something wrong with parties, I just don’t like it”

“You have to attend this one because of me. Prom is just a week after Jayden’s birthday and you’re automatically my date.

I want to attend a party with you before prom night. Besides, if you attend the party, those girls won’t be able to come close to me”

“Okay, I will think about it but I’m not promising you anything yet”

“Sure. So how far about your friendship with Min Seok?”

“He still isn’t talking to me. I guess we weren’t meant to be friends, just forget about him” I said with a faux smile

“Okay, if that’s what you want. Let’s go home! I will be taking you home today, period”

“Ayy captain” I said and we both bursted into laughter

We got into Liam’s car and I gave him directions to Samantha’s house. I won’t reveal my identity to him until prom night.

After driving for some minutes, we finally arrived at Samantha’s house.

“Are you sure we’re in the right place?” Liam asked looking around

“Of course!” I answered with an eyeroll

“Does this mean you’ve been pretending to be a poor girl all along?”

“Errm…. Not really. I and my family live in our boss’s house so here it is”

“Ohh… I actually thought you’ve been fooling me. Can I go in with you?”

“No, thanks for bringing me here. There’s something I want to tell you, but it will have to wait till prom night. I just hope nothing changes between us after that time. Bye”

“Hmm… Alright! See you tomorrow”
