Aubrey’s POV

A week later

I stayed in my room practicing for my upcoming concert on Saturday. Home is really boring without Samantha.

My parents are at home but their too busy with themselves to remember me. I envy their love! They’ve been married for close to thirty years now but they still can’t get enough of each other.

I sighed for the umpteenth time because I just keep repeating the dance steps when I have nothing to do.

We’re done with our exams but we can’t go on vacation because of some reasons the school said that I don’t know of.

I laid on my bed ready to sleep when I suddenly started hearing voices downstairs. I didn’t pay attention to it until I heard a voice that sounded like Sophie’s.

I quickly removed my bedcover and ran downstairs.

“Unnie (big sis)” I screamed and hug-ged her ti-ght

“Baby sis” she replied and hug-ged me too

“So it’s only Sophie you saw?” Jason asked with an eyeroll

“Ohh.. sorry” I said and went to hug him

“How have you been?” he asked ruffling my hair

“Fine. I’ve missed you guys” I said with pouted li-ps

“And we’ve missed you more. What of Mom and Dad?” Sophie asked

“Probably in their room” I said looking down

“What’s wrong? Did they do something to you?”

“They ignored me and stayed in their room since morning. I feel really lonely” I said truthfully

“We’re here now okay? You won’t feel lonely anymore” Jason a-ssured

“Let’s go upstairs Jason” Sophie said and carried her bag

Minutes later

“Ohh.. my baby! You never told me you were feeling lonely” mom said walking downstairs hastily making me roll my eyes

I’m sure Sophie and Jason are at work!

“I tried telling you but you didn’t even spare me a glance” I lied smiling sweetly

“We’re going to take Aubrey with us to our penthouse and you will never set your eyes on her again” Sophie threatened coming downstairs

“No, please don’t do that. We’re really going to create time for her from now on. I promise” Mom said coming to hug me

“Fine, just this once” Sophie said and went to her room

“Do you really have to tell Sophie and Jason whatever happens?” Mom scolded

“U.. nnie.. ”

“I didn’t say anything” mom quickly said and clamped her mouth shut while I stuck my tongue out at them and ran off to my room.

Liam’s POV

I stared at my phone for the umpteenth time contemplating if I should call Aubrey or not. I’ve really missed her and we haven’t talked to each other since morning.

I dropped my phone and just kept rolling on my bed from one end to the other. I wish I knew her house. I would have paid her a visit.

My phone started ringing almost immediately. I reluctantly picked the phone to check the caller but when I saw it was Aubrey, I quickly sat up and answered the call.

“Good afternoon” she greeted

“Afternoon. How are you doing?” I asked anxiously because I could ba-rely contain the excitement in me

“I don’t know. What kind of boyfriend doesn’t call her girlfriend on weekends?”

“I’m really sorry Aubrey. You see, I wanted calling you but I didn’t know if you were going to be busy or not”

“Do you call that an excuse?” she asked and I bet she must be rolling her eyes

“I’m sorry” I said soberly

“Alright, I just wanted to say hi. See you in school on Monday”

“Okay. Bye” I said and she ended the call

I’m missing her already, what do I do?

Aubrey’s POV

After I dropped the call with Andrian, I went to Sophie’s room and we started our girls talk.

“When are you getting married?” I suddenly asked out of the blue

“Why that question?”

“Well …. I just want to know who the lucky guy is”

“Don’t worry. You will know him when the time comes. How is your boyfriend?” she asked making me blus-h

“He’s fine” I finally answered

“So you’re in love?” Sophie teased

“Yeah. I’m in love”

“Good for you. When are you going to stop this your disguise of a thing?”

“On my eighteenth birthday” I said with an eyeroll

“I consider what you’re doing childish. Why will you hide your face and go to a rich school pretending to be a poor girl. Does it make any sense to you?”

“It’s to protect myself. Not like I asked you to do it or something”

“Whatever! Suit yourself! I just hope you are more than ready to face your boyfriend after you reveal your identity.”

Min Seok’s POV

I sighed frustratedly and closed my laptop. I’ve been trying to get even if it’s just one information about Byeol that can give me a clue to who she is but I can’t find anything.

Why does she have to be so secretive? Is she the daughter of a really rich man?

I shouldn’t have behaved that way to Aubrey last week. Should I apologise? No! I don’t want to have anything to do with her!

Why does she even have to come to my mind when I’m thinking about Byeol?

“What if she’s Byeol?” my subconscious said to me

There’s no way she’s Byeol. My Byeol can’t be so ugly. I’m not trying to say Aubrey is ugly though.

I shrugged the thoughts off and decided to take a nap.

Jayden’s POV

I can’t wait for my upcoming birthday. It’s finally coming up in three weeks time! I’m going to drill Aubrey.

I’ve gotten the drugs and everything I’ll be needing. The party is going to take place at my parents house and I have just the perfect room for that.

After I have a taste of her, Liam can do whatsoever he wants with her. But until then, I’m not giving up on her.
