Liam’s POV

I kept a straight face as I carried Aubrey bridal style to the cafeteria. Normally, I would have giggled with the look on her face but I will just pretend to be mad at her for a little while longer.

When we got to the cafeteria, I put her down gently and pulled out a sit before making her sit on it.

“What will you like to eat?” I asked her still not smiling

“I’m not hungry” she answered nonchalantly

“Why? You were coming to the cafeteria before I carried you so why don’t you want to eat anymore?”

“Isn’t it obvious? It’s because you carried me of course” she answered with an eyeroll

“Let’s stop all these now Aubrey. Fine, I’m sorry okay?”

“You’re sorry for what?”

“For trying to drive you home against your will”

“But your sorry won’t change a thing.”

“I don’t un-derstand”

“Nevermind. I will just take pie and juice”

“Alright. Let me get it for you”

Min Ju’s POV

I walked slowly to the cafeteria with my head bowed. I still can’t believe most students saw me in my undies yesterday.

I haven’t set my eyes on Min Seok ever since I got to school. Does that mean he isn’t in school today? But I don’t think he has ever missed cla-sses.

“Can I talk to you for a while?” I heard a voice say behind me and I need no one to tell me it’s Min Seok

“Sure”

“So… Why did you call me here?” I asked when he didn’t say anything

“Why did you commit murder? Why did you post Khloe’s nu-de on net?”

“She offended me, I had to punish her. Besides, she slapped me too and I had to take revenge”

“Really? Do you even feel remorseful?” he asked making me scoff

“I don’t think so. I think they both got what they deserved. If Mary hadn’t been greedy, I probably wouldn’t have killed her and if Khloe hadn’t wronged me, I wouldn’t have done anything to her”

“You’re the only friend I have in this school Min Ju, stop behaving this way please. When you do something wrong, you should feel bad, accept your mistake and apologise. Do you promise to change for me?”

“I will try” I answered already tired of the boring conversation

“Fine! Let’s start with you apologising to Khloe”

“What?!!!!”

“What? You can’t do it?”

“I can’t do it”

“It means you don’t want to change”

“No, I’m really going to change. If I do anything after this, I will apologise but just let this slide for now. Please”

“Okay. Let’s go to the cafeteria for lunch then”

Daniel’s POV

I watched Aubrey and Liam as they acted like lovers publicly. Why does Liam have to fall in love with her?

I’m sure she must have used a charm on Liam because she’s not even pretty. Khloe is really prettier than Aubrey but Liam has never for once stared at her with love and I’m going to make sure I exp-ose Aubrey.

“What do we do Daniel? Their love is growing each pa-ssing day” Jayden asked behind me

“Well, one thing I’m sure of is that Aubrey used a charm on Liam and I’m going to exp-ose her” i said with so much determination in my voice

“You’re right! We have to exp-ose her and make Liam see that he fell in love with the wrong person” Jayden supported

Min Seok’s POV

I wonder what Aubrey sees in Liam that she doesn’t see in me. I really love her so much and I doubt it if I will be able to endure it during the months I have left to spend in this school.

I sighed for the umpteenth time as I watched she and Liam feed each other.

“What’s wrong Min Seok? You’ve been sighing since, is something wrong?” Min Ju asked

“Nothing is wrong”

“Are you sure nothing is wrong? You haven’t even tou-ched your food”

“I’m really fine, don’t worry about me”

“Okay, if you say so” she said with a shrug

After school

I picked up my bag ready to leave the school as usual but I was surprised when I saw Aubrey. What does she wants now?

“Hi Min Seok” she said with a little smile

“Hi” I said casually

“Can we talk?” she asked politely

“I don’t think so. You wouldn’t want your boyfriend to beat the living daylight out of me, would you?” I said with a voice filled with sarcasm

She bowed her head in embarrasment and I figured I went to far. Besides, do I have to make my jealousy obvious?

“I’m sorry. We can talk”

“Okay” she said with a nod and came inside the cla-ssroom

Aubrey’s POV

I fiddled with my fingers nervously as I sat with Min Seok

“So what do you want us to talk about?” he asked breaking the silence

“Why did you stop being friends with me? I just want to know if I did something wrong”

“You didn’t do anything wrong, I just figured out that a friendship can’t work between us”

“Are you saying this because of Liam? He promised to accept you because of me. Three of us can be best friends”

“Is that what he told you?”

“Yes” I answered with a nod

“Sighs okay! But I still don’t want us to be friends. I’m okay with Min Ju”

“Even after what she did?”

“Yes. You shouldn’t judge anyone, not to talk of someone you call a friend. She might have done something bad but once she accepts her mistake, there’s no problem”

“Min Ju isn’t someone to accept her mistakes. If she really accepts her mistake, why hasn’t she apologised to Khloe yet?”

“She’s not bold enough to do so”

“You and I know it’s a lie, but it’s okay to cover for a friend. Since you don’t want to have anything to do with me, I will take my leave. Bye”

“Yeah. My regards to Liam”

“Alright”

Liam already ma-ssaged my legs a little so I managed to walk to the road to take a cab home.

When I got home, I noticed the house wasn’t quiet like it has always been. Not like there was noise or something, I just felt the presence of people inside.

I walked inside and met mom and dad in the sitting room busy with their phones.

“Mom!! Dad!!” I screamed and hug-ged both of them

“You didn’t tell me you will be coming home today” I said poutingly after I pulled away from the hug

“We wanted to surprise you. Besides, your brother and sister will be returning home soon and we don’t want them to know we left you for a long time” mom explained making me roll my eyes

“So you wouldn’t have returned if it weren’t for them? Well, unfortunately, they know you left me for a long time” I stuck out my tongue at them taking the stairs

“You’re kidding right?”

“Nah” I replied with a giggle and went to my room

Can’t wait for Sophie and Jason to return so I can laugh my lungs out.
