A Bet - S01 E15

Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 15

Min Seok’s POV

After the students left the school, I decided to stay behind in order to go throu-ghmy books for some time before heading hope but I suddenly started having a headache.

I tried forcing myself to read but the headache became severe so I had no choice but to close my books.

When I got outside the school gate, I noticed there were no moving cars. I think I have to walk a little distance before I can take a cab.

I hadn’t gone far when I started hearing screams. At first, I ignored it but when I noticed the voice was becoming louder, I traced it and discovered it was coming from the bush opposite where I was.

I walked into the bush, careful not to alert anyone of my coming and I saw they were trying to ra-pe a girl.

I looked closely and discovered it was the girl that caught my attention in school during lunch. She looks kind of ugly so I don’t know why I was drawn to her.

I quickly hid somewhere and changed my clothes before using a mask.

Those guys are much and I would have taken them down all by myself if I was okay but I don’t know what will happen now because the headache is becoming severe.

After changing, I went straight to where they were about ra-ping the girl and started fighting the guards first.

We fought for about twenty minutes before my head started spinning. I don’t think I will be able to last for five minutes from now so who is going to save this girl?

She looks really innocent and I don’t want her to be a victim of something like this.

Three minutes later, some armed men surrounded the bush and took all the guys down while I ran as fast as I could so my identity won’t be exp-osed.

I just hope they are good people.

Samantha’s POV

I had a feeling that something was going to happen to Aubrey today, I don’t know why she asked the bodyguards to leave before her.

Few minutes later, she beeped the guys informing them she was in danger. Like I already knew this would happen.

I hastily got into the car with some of the bodyguards and we started driving speedily to Aubrey’s school.

We were able to get the location of where she was throu-ghthe tracker in the wristwatch.

I wish there I had some kind of supernatural powers that could take me straight to where she is right now without me having to make use of the car.

Aubrey, please be safe for me.

We got there after about forty minutes. The guards asked me to stay in the car with some guards since it might be dangerous.

I waited for about a minute before I went to the bush I saw them enter. The remaining guards tried to stop me but I refused to listen to whatever they said.

Aubrey is more important than any other thing.

The guards had subdued the men before I got there so there’s no way I would know what happened unless I ask the guards or Aubrey herself.

Where’s Aubrey? I searched around for her and finally saw her on the floor.

“Aubrey!!!” I screamed at the top of my voice

What did they do to her? She was lying on the floor with her eyes closed and her clothes were rou-ghwith blood on her li-ps.

“Help me take her to the car” I said to the guards and some of them came to take Aubrey to the car while the rest of them beat those guys to a pulp.

They will learn never to mess up with Aubrey ever again.

We drove hurriedly to the hospital ignoring every traffic rules.

Aubrey, stay with me.

We arrived at the hospital about fifteen minutes later and Aubrey was immediately taken to the ward.

Few minutes later, the doctor came out.

“Doctor, how is she?”

“She’s fine. She just needs to rest but she’s still in shock because of what happened so don’t for-ce her to talk if she doesn’t want to”

“Alright doctor, thank you”

The doctor discharged her in the evening and we went back home. Looks like I will be spending the night at Aubrey’s place today.

“How are you feeling now?” I asked her after she took her bath and lay on the bed but she just kept mute and stared at the ceiling.

“I’m just going to leave you to rest since you don’t want to talk now but don’t be too ha-rd on yourself okay?”

Not expecting any response, I turned around to walk out of the room but then I heard sniffing. I looked back and discovered it was from Aubrey.

“I need someone to talk to so please don’t leave” she said already in tears

“It’s okay Aubrey. Those guys aren’t worth your tears.” I said patting her lightly.

“I can’t believe I almost got ra-pe d today. What would have happened if someone hadn’t come to save me?”

“I don’t un-derstand. The guards saved you, right?”

“No. You guys would have been too late. A guy fought with those boys before you got there.

I already lost consciousness before the guards arrived so I don’t know what happened”

“Do you know who the guy is?”

“That’s the problem. He was wearing a mask but he wasn’t wearing our uniform. Only a student in my school could be around that place.”

“Will you be able to recognize him if you see him?”

“I’m not really sure…… He had a birthmark on his left leg, I’m sure of that”

“What about his hair colour or anything else?”

“I wasn’t able to get any other thing” she replied tiredly

“Ohh… I think you should rest then. But please, don’t ever repeat what you did today.

Your bodyguards should always be behind you whenever you go out. You’re going to do that for me right?”

“Sure, I have no choice. I’m not ready to become a ra-pe victim”

“Do you recognize the faces of the guys that tried ra-ping you?”

“The one that really wanted to ra-pe me was Daniel. He’s one of Liam’s friends”

“Alright, thanks” I said with a sm-irk and wanted leaving the room but Aubrey stopped me.

“Sam, what are you up to?”

“Nothing, absolutely nothing”

“Sam…… ” Aubrey drawed

“Well, I might want to teach him a lesson. You know there’s nothing you can say that will make me change my mind so just save your strength and rest. See ya” I waved at her and left the room.

Hmm…. Daniel. Let’s see.
