Khloe’s POV

I wonder why Aubrey is so softhearted. Sometimes, I’m for-ced to think she’s not human.

After we left Min Jin, we headed to the cafeteria.

“Waiter!!” I called after we took our seats and immediately, a waiter came to attend to us.

“Get me a pie and a lemon juice. Natalie and Aubrey, what would you like to eat? Remember the bills are on me”

“I will just go with pie and lemon also” Natalie said quietly

“What about you Aubrey?”

“Errm….. I think I will take water”

“Not water Aubrey, choose something else”

“I’m not really hungry”

“Just get the same thing for three of us” I said and dismissed the waiter”

“Aubrey stop being shy whenever were together. We’re friends now and we should behave like one”

“I’m not shy, I just don’t feel like eating. But don’t you think you should also be on the line like other students whenever you want to eat? I mean, the waiter is obviously not out age mate, it’s just because of the situation of things” Aubrey said facing me

“Errm… I just thought… I’ve heard you. I will do that from tomorrow”

“Alright”

The waiter brou-ght our food almost immediately and we started eating but we had not eaten much when we heard noises and squeals from the students specifically the girls.

What’s going on? If Liam comes into the cafeteria, the noise isn’t usually much like this so why is today different?

I shrugged the thoughts off and focused on my food but when the noise became unbearable, I looked up to behold the most handsome guy I’ve ever seen.

I know Liam is handsome but if I was to choose between him and this guy, I would be really confused. No wonder why the noise was this much.

It was not until his eyes met mine that I realized my mouth had been open all this time.

I slowly closed my mouth and lowered my head back in embarra-ssment. Why did he have to look at me?

I slowly raised my head to look at him again and he was still looking at my direction but his eyes was on someone this time.

I traced where he was staring at and my gaze landed on Aubrey. Huh! Why is he staring at her?

The Aubrey he’s staring at doesn’t even know if he exists or not, talk less of knowing someone is staring at her.

As if Aubrey knew someone was staring at her, she raised her head and looked straight at the guy. After staring at him for a while, she took her eyes off and continued eating. Do they know each other? I don’t think so.

Few minutes later, lunch was over and we returned to cla-ss.

Aubrey’s POV

I wonder why the transfer student was staring at me. I don’t know him from anywhere but he stared at me probably for hours.

Could he have found out I’m Byeol? Of course not! My disguise won’t let anyone suspect me a bit.

After lunch, we went back to cla-ss and continued the day’s lecture. We did few subjects before we finished for the day.

“Let me drop you off Aubrey” Khloe said on our way to the gate

“That won’t be necessary. Besides the route to your house is different from mine”

“It doesn’t matter. I just want to know where you live so I can pay you a visit sometimes”

“Don’t stress yourself Khloe, I prefer walking home or taking a cab, please… ” I pleaded with her

“Okay, fine then. Good night, see you tomorrow”

“Bye” I waved at she and Natalie before walking out of the gate. I have to walk a little distance before I can see a cab.

I hadn’t gone far when one of Liam’s friends double-crossed me. I think his name is Daniel.

“Look whom we have here. The one and only Aubrey in our school”

I ignored him and continued walking but he pulled me back.

“How dare you walk out on me when I’m talking to you? Anyway, I want to have a one night stand with you. Name your price” he said and all I felt instantly was disgust.

“And do I look like a slut to you? If other girls bow at your feet because of your good looks and money, I, Aubrey am completely different from them. Excuse me” I said and for-cefully withdrew my hands from his before walking away but almost immediately, I heard the snap of his fingers and some boys surrounded me instantly.

“I asked you calmly for a one night stand but you refused so now I’m going to have my way for-cefully with you, there’s no one to save you from me”

After he said that, I quickly pressed the red bu-tton on the watch Sam gave me. I wouldn’t have asked my guards to go home if I knew something like this will happen.

Who is going to save me now?

“Take her to the bush” Daniel ordered the men and they came closer to me, held me rou-ghly and lead me towards the bush.

I started screaming at the top of my voice hoping for a miracle because that’s the my last hope for now.

If my guards drive rou-ghly, it will take about thirty minutes before they arrive here and I don’t know what would have happened by then.

This place is deserted and there’s no single student in school anymore. Is this how I’m going to lose my pride?

Just the thoughts alone brou-ght more tears to my eyes and I increa-sed the tempo of my voice. The boys tried covering my mouth to prevent me from screaming but Daniel stopped them.

“Let her scream as much as she wants, no one will come to save her. Besides, the tears will give me the srength to fuc-k her hard.”

He’s absolutely right, no one will come to save me. I think I should stop crying and save the little strength I have left to buy time to my guards arrive.

When we got to the middle of the bush, he asked his men to leave me and they pushed me to the ground rou-ghly.

Liam came towards me and I had no choice but to start begging him, all my pleas fell on deaf ears.

He tried tearing my clothes but I fought back a little and he gave me a ha-rd slap that bursted my li-ps. I’m done for, I can’t even lift a finger now.

I already lost all hope when I heard noises. I lifted my head a little and saw a guy fighting with Daniel’s men. He was using a mask so I couldn’t see his face.

Strength was slowly sli-pping out of me and before I knew it, I lost conciousness.
