Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 13

Min Seok’s POV

There’s nothing I hate as much as being a transfer student but I have no choice.

Mom got a new job and she was transferred to America. She could have decided to refuse the offer but that would mean she wouldn’t work in that company again which will make things really difficult for us.

I never saw my Dad since I was born and I just hope it remains like that because I don’t want to set my eyes on the man that abandoned Mom.

She always make sure she provides everything I need and that’s why I’m going to make her proud.

I’ve vowed not to ever date anyone until I finish highschool and probably college.

We arrived at America today which is Monday so it means I will be resuming my new school tomorrow.

Next day

I woke up as early as possible, did the house chores, prepared Mom’s favorite dish and dressed for school.

“Seok! Seok!!” Mom called from the dining. I know why she’s calling already, she can be so dramatic sometimes.

“I’m coming Mom” I hurriedly bu-ttoned my shirt before going to meet her downstairs.

“You made breakfast again?” she asked calmly and I know that look she’s giving me

“Mom don’t start please.” I said rolling my eyes

“I’ve always told you that cooking is my responsibility. Stop making me feel bad.

I can cook in the morning before going to work, it’s my duty as your Mom”

“I’m not complaining Mom. I should help you with some things because you’ve been the one taking care of me from childhood so the least I can do to express my gratitude is what I’m doing so please Mom, leave it that way.

We’ve talked about this already” I heard sniffing after I concluded and I know Mom is at it again.

“I will be on my way to school” I said and started walking away without sparing her a glance but she quickly held my hand.

“I’m sorry Min Seok. It’s just that I feel like the luckiest mother on earth having you as my son. I’ve wiped my tears so you can look at me now”

“I’ve always told you I don’t like seeing you in tears Mom”

“But it was tears of joy. Fine, I promise not to cry anymore”

“I’ve lost count of how many times you’ve promised”

“I’m really serious this time”

“Okay. Let me just believe you this once” I sat down back and quickly rushed my meal

“I’m off to school Mom”

“No way! I will drop you myself” Mom said and picked her car keys

I wonder how my first day will be.

Min Ju’s POV

When school was over yesterday, two girls came to meet me asking if we could form a group.

They looked cla-ssy so I agreed instantly but I clearly stated that I will be the leader and they agreed without arguing. School can’t get more interesting.

I chatted with the guy that I gave my contact to and I got to know his name is Liam. Coincidentally, he is the guy Dad said I’m bethroth

ed to.

He’s not bad but I would still cheat on him. Why should I stick to one guy when there are many handsome guys out there?

After dressing up for school, I got into my car and my driver drove me to school.

When I got inside the school compound, I noticed the girls were staring dreamily at someone but I shrugged it off at first until it became unbearable.

“Lilian, what’s going on?” I asked when I sp-otted her with Sydney

“Well, the students are going crazy because there’s a really handsome transfer student in our midst”

“Why aren’t you also drooling? Is he as handsome as Liam?”

“To be sincere, I don’t know who is more handsome. Both of them are totally cool”

“Wow! I never thought there could be anyone as handsome as Liam, at least not in this school”

I moved closer to them to check out the guy and I must admit he’s really handsome. Nice catch!

I think I will start with him first. I hope we have another transfer student soon.

Aubrey’s POV

When I told Samantha about Khloe yesterday, she didn’t believe me but after some time she did.

Even I myself find it difficult to believe that Khloe is now my friend. Natalie was never really part of the group so it isn’t much of a surprise that she’s my friend.

Khloe wanted to come and pick me up this morning but I refused. If she knows where I live, it’s definitely going to blow my cover so I just told her we should meet in school by 7am so we can read for a few minutes.

I got to school at exactly 7am. Wow! I sure know how to keep to time.

I went straight to the library but Khloe and Natalie weren’t there yet. I started searching for a book to read and when I finally found one, Khloe and Natalie arrived.

“Morning Khloe” they greeted

“Morning guys. How was your night?”

“It was fine and yours?”

“Fine too. Let’s get down to business”

“Sure!!”

They dropped their bags and also went to take the books they would read.

“The time is 7:10 now meaning we only have 30 minutes to read so let’s make use of our time wisely” I said to them

We started reading and at exactly 7:40, my watch beeped signifying our time for reading is up.

We quickly rounded up what we were doing and kept the books back before going to the hall for morning devotion.

After we finished from the a-ssembly, we went to our cla-ss to begin the day’s lecture. Khloe sat beside me while Natalie sat just behind us.

The teachers still gave Khloe that strange look but this time around, she didn’t feel shy. She just looked on confidently and listened attentively to their teachings.

Lunch time

We picked our bags and proceeded to leave the cla-ss when the transfer student whom I later discovered her name is Min Jin double-crossed us. Ohh! Not again

“Look who we have here, the so-called bookworms of the cla-ss” she said and immediately three of them busted into laughter; she, Sydney and Lilian.

I can’t believe Sydney and Lilian could betray Khloe this way. Even if they don’t want to be friends with Khloe anymore because she’s now my friend, I never expected them to become enemies with her. I guess they were never really true friends from the start.

“I don’t want any trouble so just move out of my way” Khloe said calmly

“And why will I do that? I have to teach both of you a lesson first” she said pointing at Khloe and I.

“And how will you do that?” Khloe said mockingly

“Just watch. Hey! Four of you, come here” Min Jin called out to four students that were on their way to the cafeteria and they answered immediately probably because they know Min Jin is rich.

“stri-p these two girls for me” she said pointing at us

The girls stared at us and back at themselves before they came towards me but Khloe stood in front of me preventing them from coming closer.

They won’t be able to touch Khloe because they know who she is and that was why they came to me first.

“Four of you, get ready for suspension” Khloe said to the girls

“We’re sorry Khloe, we were just carrying out the orders given to us” they pleaded going down on their knees

“I don’t care. You aren’t even scared. You saw Aubrey standing beside me and one dimwit asked you to stri-p us and you proceeded? I’ve said what I have to say”

“Khloe please spare them. Like they said, they were only carrying out an order, please” I pleaded with Khloe

“Can you see yourselves? Aubrey is the one pleading on your behalf even after what you tried doing to her. Just get lost” Khloe said before turning to face Min Jin who was staring like a lost puppy.

“I would have dealt with you but I’m going to spare you today. If you cross paths with me the third time, I will teach you a lesson you will never forget in this life and in the next one.

Ask both of them and they will tell you who I am in this school. I don’t care if your Dad is the President of South Korea, it doesn’t change the fact that you will always remain a transfer student” and with that, Khloe slightly pushed her out of the way and left while I and Natalie followed behind her.
