It hurts it fvcking hurts so bad ,each time I remember Mr sebastiano’s words downstairs.

My heart hurts like hell . I rubbed my chest and hugged my pillow close as my mind went back to what just happened.

” Good morning Mr Delgado” I greeted with a smile on my face .

His intimidating eyes met mine as he smirked.

” Good morning Miss Lerato ,I didn’t know you’re still in Costa Rica” he said the last part like I was the most stupid person for still being around after everything.

” Oh ,I love it here ” I said with a soft smile which he didn’t return.

” I was about to prepare breakfast before you came sir …” I trailed .

” What part of ,you don’t belong here don’t you understand ? He asked tucking both hands in the pocket of his formal pants .

” Sirrrrr…” I trailed .

” You are an intelligent girl , you’re beautiful . And I’m very sure there are thousands of men out there who want you. “He said smirking.

” I’m dating your son sir ,I don’t care about the thousand men outside” i said calmly.

” You are free to keep him busy until his appointed time to get married to Camila ” he said and I froze.

Why did that ring a bell .

My mind went back to the previous night and my heart pounded against my chest at the possibility of it being true .

Was this what he has been hiding from me all this while ?

” He will get married to Camila to strengthen the familia. We are the oldest and most Successful Spanish crime family.

” As a mafia man ,he doesn’t have a say concerning these matters ” He said and my eyes stung with tears.

Now I understood every single thing .

The rings , his hatred for his father.

Layla’s warning and what Erduardo meant .

His calls with Vincenzo ,I didn’t know what to say , or how to react .

What hurt more was the fact that I had asked him countless times,yet he refused to open up to me.

I was shocked ,hurt and tired .

I just wanted to feel nothing at that point as I lay down on the bed after asking him to get out of the room .

Tears rolled outta my eyes and sobs turn to full blown cries .

I took my bath afterwards and went downstairs for breakfast .

He was in the kitchen when I went downstairs.

” Mi Cielo { my heaven }

” Mi Riena ” he called softly.

” Imani at least talk to me this silence is killing me ” he pleaded and tears rolled outta my eyes.

” You broke me first Leon , I’m not a child . ” I said as my lips quivered.

” I was scared of hurting you . I’m not part of the mafia …” he trailed .

” I don’t care about the mafia ,I know you Leonardo. I know you can’t hurt anyone so who cares if your family’s Involved with crime ? I asked angrily.

” I’m your girlfriend,I deserve to know the truth . I asked you countless times ,yet you stared at me in the face and continued lieing. Even about your arranged marriage ” I snapped.

‘ my Dad has lost it ,Camila and I are not getting married ” he said desperately.

” Does she know that ? Why am I even asking you stupid questions ” I said angrily.

” Imani you know I love you ,you of all people should know that ” he said in hurt .

” Well I know that , but love and trust work hand in hand . If you love me,you learn to trust me . ”

” If you can’t trust me now ,when are you gonna trust me ? I asked with arms folded .

” I’m so mad at you right now ,I don’t wanna see your face ” I said wearing my room slippers.

” Imani …” He called softly.

” Leon I hate lies , Do you have the slightest idea how I feel right now ? We had a lot of people trying to break us up . I’ve been strong this whole time .

” And now your Dad had to out the ice on the cake . I’m done ”

” What do you mean by you’re done ,we can’t be done . It took two to get into this relationship , it takes two to mutually agree when it ends . You’re hurt and not thinking straight ” he said and I looked away as tears rolled outta my eyes.

Different thoughts ran through my mind as I bit my lower lip .

” Leon maybe this was a bad idea ”

” Imani stop it , please ” he said in horror.

” Maybe we are not compatible . We are so different from each other ,there’s distance ,there’s status difference …. I …I don’t know ” I said hugging my self .

” I know you’re hurt , and you need a lot of time to get yourself together,but we are not breaking up.

” I’m yours you’re mine, okay ” he Said holding my face in his hands.

Iooked away as tears rolled outta my eyes.

I don’t want to break up too ,I fvcking love you .

I wanted to say but the words refused to escape my mouth .

“What do you want me to do Imani ,tell me I’ll do anything to get you to forgive me ” he said anxiously .

” I need time and space…” I said and his blue orbs met mine ,they darkened in hurt .

” How much time do you want ? Days weeks , months ? ”

” Can I go back home ” I asked and he cursed under his breath.

‘” Imani don’t do this ,do you want to kill me ? How can I let you go in this state ? …” He trailed .

” Please…I just need to stay away from this energy , especially from you ”

He flinched at the last part .

” We’re not breaking up right ? He asked desperately.

” Lee ” I cried and he bit his lower lip and ran his fingers in his hair.

” I’ll call my pilot ” he said breathing out gently .

He walked upstairs and I burst into tears .

He didn’t come out of the guest room ,I got some stuffs and joma came down to inform me of the pilots arrival .

” Is everything okay ma’am Imani ? He asked and I stared at him calmly.

” Everything is fine ,I’m just going back to Capetown for sometime,take care of your Boss ” I said getting into the car .

The guards helped with my stuffs .

I wore my shades and leaned on my seat as tears rolled outta my eyes .

I removed my glasses and wiped them .

Immediately I bored his private jet at the airport ,I knew I left a part of me back in Costa Rica.

I was running away from feeling hurt ,but what is love without taking risk .

I knew what I was getting myself into before I dated Leonardo , and I know he loves me .

But we need space to clear our heads , staying in that atmosphere his dad created in that space will only constitute to further fights .

I stared at my wallpaper ,a picture of us in his kitchen.

I bit my lower lip as tears rolled outta my eyes.

” I’m so sorry ” I muttered under my breath as I cried .

I was being a coward right now but that’s all I could do ,the pain in my heart was too much to bare .

She left

She fvcking left . The fact that nothing I said could stop her from leaving made my heart bleed even more .

I was furious and my heart ached badly.

I couldn’t stay at home at that point ,I needed to clear my head before I loose it.

I freshened up and left for the office to burn my self with work .

After which I drove towards my Dad’s mansion where he lives with Yuri .

” Nardo” she said in shock when her eyes met mine.

” Goodevning ma’am Yuri ,is Sebastiano inside ” I asked trying to control the anger that cursed through my veins.

” Son ” he called as he dropped his glass on the table.

” I am not your son ,I’m not your son Sebastiano!” I bursted angrily.

” I am your father,I won’t stand here and have you disrespect me ! ” He bursted .

” Then sit down and watch me disrespect you Sebastiano!

” Wait ,are you making all this fuss because of the African girl ?he asked in shock .

” That African girl has a name ! And you will know how much she means to me if you stopped to care or even think about the well being of your sons ! “I said Angrily.

” All you care about is family name ,status and wealth ”

” You have lost every single bit of humanity in you ,yet you have refused to change”

” I hate you so much right now ….Every single day ,I have hoped you will change one day ,but you have continually proven to me just how heartless you truly are ”

” What satisfaction does it give to you ? Hurting my mom , hurting ma’am Yuri ”

” Stay away from me Dad , because the next time you enterfere in my life again . I will leave the board.

” I won’t only leave,but take each and every aspect of my businesses out of Delgado Empire .

” Let’s see how long your construction company stands without me ” I snapped and made my way out of the house Angrily.

” You can go home ” i said to my personal assistant who had hurried behind me when I left the office after closing for the day .

” I can’t leave you alone sir ” he said immediately.

” I’m old enough to take care of myself” I said calmly.

” Sir it’s not like I don’t trust you ,It’s just that …” He trailed .

” Just what ?I asked frowning.

” It is what it is ” he said and I ignored him .

He drove me to my beach house and as I sat down on my mini bar ,he served me a glass of alcohol after serving himself.

” I don’t want to drink ” I said immediately.

” Sir it’s okay to want to take a glass ,I understand ” he said and I glared daggers at him.

” Sir your girlfriend hurt you , or you guys broke up , it’s not the end of the world. You can win her back or stay here and sulk . You don’t have time ” he said calmly.

” What rubbish are you spitting ! ” I asked angrily.

” Sir chill ,stop breathing fire like a dragon . I followed you here so you don’t commit suicide or something”he said and my jaws literally dropped.

” Suicide ? I asked in shock .

” Sir Romeo did not do more than this , even Jack from Titanic ,did not do more than this ”

” Jeff ”

” Sir ,just tell me anything you want me to do ,I’ll do it ,I’m here for you to wipe away your tears ,be your shoulder to lean on ,massage your back and even twerk for you ” he said dramatically.

” Do me a favour”

” Sir …’

” Shut up ” I said angrily and he froze .

” Okay sir ” he said and focused on his drink .

” But sir …”

” Now what ? I asked irritated by his nonsense.

” With miss imani’s character and good shape ,how did you fvck up to the point of breaking up ,men are lining up in their numbers. The line is lonnnnnng” he trailed .
