Aubrey’s POV

What is Samantha talking about?

“I don’t think what you’re saying is true because it happened coincidentally.

Khloe wanted to have lunch with Liam and as her maid she asked me to get the dishes for them.

That’s where Liam came into the picture so you see it’s not what you think” I concluded tiredly

“Really? And here I am thinking you’re wise. Liam is a playboy and he can go to any length to get what he wants.

I can swear that what happened wasn’t a coincidence. Okay has he ever had lunch privately with Khloe?”

“No I don’t think so but it doesn’t mean anything”

“Okay just shut up and listen to me. I’m your bestie and I definitely won’t want something bad happen to you.

Stay away from Liam, don’t accept any food or drink from him and avoid him like a plague please. Will you do that for your best friend?”

“To be honest, I don’t really know if that’ll be possible because I felt different when I was with him.

He held my hands for few minutes and during that short time I felt electric jolt throu-ghmy veins” I said confused

“Are you sure you felt waves of electricity?” Sam asked confusing me more

“Yes and I don’t un-derstand”

“If that’s the case it means Liam is your soulmate but you can’t accept him now.

He has to change from being a playboy first .

If you guys are meant to be you’ll definitely meet in the future. It might be when you’re in college and it might even be after college.

And I’m still going to repeat myself, stay away from him. A word is enough for the wise” Sam warned

“I don’t get you. You mean Liam is my soulmate?”

“Yes, haven’t you heard of it before? When the opposite se-x touches you and you feel that way, it means he or she is your soulmate.

Although it’s not all the time but it’s most of the time and besides you’ve never felt that way with anyone before so it might be true.

Just stay away from him and if you guys meet later in the future, it means you’re meant to be”

“But I don’t want Liam. I know he’s handsome and all but he’s still a playboy, I want someone else”

“You’re really funny. Are you telling me that? Did I join you guys together? Tell that to God and not me”

“Okay then but I should stay away from him, right?”

“Of course, avoid him completely”

“What if he comes to me, what should I do then?”

“Well tell him you don’t want to be friends with him”

“Do you think he would back down just like that especially if your hunch is true?”

“He won’t back down but you shouldn’t give in either and don’t ever go to a private place with him.

If you notice the students are reducing anywhere you’re seated, move away from there and go to a place where they’re many.

Also your bodyguards must follow you discreetly from tomorrow onwards.

I’m going to give you a wristwatch tomorrow and I’m also going to give something to your guards.

Once you’re in danger all you have to do is press the red bu-tton. There’ll be a tracker in it and your guards will be able to rescue you immediately.

I’ll explain everything when I bring it tomorrow so don’t worry.

Let me go back here so that I can complete my a-ssignment and do other things.”

“Thanks so much Sam, I don’t know what I’d have done without you. You’re truly one in a million” I said hugging her

“Let me see you off to the gate”

“Thanks”

Khloe’s POV

I can’t believe Liam choose that thing over me. Who the hell does Aubrey think she is?

I was still fuming in anger when Liam’s two best friends pa-ssed.

“Hey Khloe what’s up? Aren’t you supposed to be having lunch with Liam? Jayden asked

“Well I’m supposed to but a certain someone ruined it. What’s her name again? Right! Aubrey. I just hate that girl”

“When you said Aubrey, are you talking about that nerd in our cla-ss?” Daniel asked

“Of course. I don’t think we have any other Aubrey in this school” I answered frustratedly.

“Wow! So Liam wants to win this bet again? There’s no way I’m letting him win, I have to start my own plans too” Jayden said

“Uhhm what’s that? Which bet are you talking about?” I asked confused

“You’re not supposed to know about it but since Jayden has run his mouth as usual, I’ll just tell you.

Three of us placed a bet on Aubrey and it’s a huge amount of money. Whoever has se-x with her first gets to take all the money.” Daniel explained

That’s great and here I was thinking Liam dumped me for her.

“Thanks Daniel and Jayden. I had actually thought Liam wants to have something serious with her. I guess I was just worried over nothing”

“You’re welcome” they said and left

Hmm so Aubrey is now Liam’s prey.

I’m sure she must have felt on top of the world when Nelson stood up for her. If only she knows what’s coming for her.

The detective I asked to carry out a background check on Aubrey said he couldn’t find anything.

Incompetent people are just everywhere in the world.

I guess I’ll just have to get another detective because I need to know everything about that suspicious looking girl.
