Lunch time

Khloe’s POV

I’m kind of nervous to have lunch with Liam.

I know he just sees me as one of his flings but I really love him.

I wish he could also love me back but that’s close to impossible because he’s a player.

Playboys don’t fall in love except if they probably meet their soulmate and that happens occasionally.

Where’s this Aubrey? Does she wants to be punished? Oh here she comes.

“What took you so long? I shouted at her

“I’m sorry man, the queue was too long” she answered in a small tiny voice and that angered me more. Why does she have to be so perfect?

“Khloe take it easy with her” Liam spoke softly for the first time.

“What’s your name?” Liam directed the question to Aubrey

“My name is Aubrey”

“Wow! Nice name for a pretty girl”

“Thank you sir” Aubrey answered softly

I don’t like where this conversation is heading. Is Liam really going to ignore me for this thing? I have to do something fast.

“Aubrey your presence is no longer needed here so you can leave now. I’ll send for you whenever I need you”

“Yes ma” she said and turned around to leave but was stopped by Liam’s voice

“There’s no need for that, I really enjoy her company. Let her sit here with us” Liam said making me boil in anger

“How can you ask this nobody to sit with us at the same table? She’s my maid and you can’t possibly expect me to eat with a maid. Aubrey just leave”

“She’s going nowhere. Besides who told you she’s your maid? She’s a student just like you so how can you make her your maid?” Liam said frustrating me again

“My Dad is a shareholder in this school and as his daughter, I have the right to do whatsoever pleases me”

“Really? You seem to be forgetting something. My Dad is also a shareholder in this school.

Infact he contributed 50% while your Dad contributed only 30% so I also have the right to overrule your decision.

From this day onward, you have no right over Aubrey Connor. She’s free from being your maid and also every other rule you might have outlined for her.

And you also can’t touch her anymore because she now belongs to me.”

Aubrey’s POV

These people are definitely sick. Imagine them saying they own me like I’m some kind of property.

They’re pushing me really ha-rd to reveal myself to them and I don’t know for how long I’ll be able to keep up with this act.

After Liam said those things to Khloe, she walked out of the cla-ssroom in anger and I took that as a cue to leave also but Liam suddenly held my hand holding me back.

“Please Aubrey don’t leave, I want us to spend some time together”

I looked down at my hand where he was holding me and I think he got the information because he took his hand off.

“I’m sorry but I don’t have time for things like that because I’m a really busy person”

“Okay how about some other time?” he asked softly and se-xily in a way that sent shivers down my spine.

“I… I wi…ll think about it” I stuttered stupidly and quickly left there. What is wrong with me?

I don’t want to fall victim of a playboy so I have to be really careful of Liam from now.

Liam’s POV

Ahh! Finally my plan is falling into place. I just have to try a little bit har-der and I’ll have Aubrey in my bed.

But there’s something disturbing. I’ve never felt the way I felt when I was with Aubrey before.

When she spoke in that her small tiny voice, it sent shivers down my spine and when I held her hand I felt a wave like that of electricity flow throu-ghmy veins.

I’ve heard of things like this and it is said that such person is your soulmate. Does that mean Aubrey is my soulmate?

No that’s impossible, I won’t even accept it. She might have a beautiful voice but that’s all.

She’s really ugly without curves and I wouldn’t want to be tied down to that kind of person when there are many curvy and beautiful ladies out there.

I have to win this bet because it’s a whole lot of money. I can say this is the first time we’ll be placing such a huge amount as a bet.

Samantha’s POV

I got home a bit late today because I had things to take care of. Let me pay a visit to Aubrey.

You guys might be wondering why Aubrey doesn’t visit me. Well she visits me but it’s once in a while.

She’s an indoor person so she doesn’t go out at all except when she has important things to do.

Besides that she’s a straight A student, not really a nerd and now that school has resumed she’ll definitely focus on her studies.

I got to her house and rang the doorbell but there was no response, I kept ringing it until I heard footsteps.

“Ohh Sam you’re the one. Welcome” Aubrey said and it’s obvious she was sleeping

“Sleepy head, I told you to change the way you sleep. I’m sure if the whole house was on fire, you will be sleeping like a baby without knowing what is going on”

“That’s not true. It’s because I’m a little bit tired?”

“Why? Did something happen in school today? Besides why are you sleeping when you’re supposed to do the a-ssignment of your so called ‘bosses’ or have you forgotten?”

“Nau-ghty girl. Well maybe something really happened and also I’m no longer a maid”

“Really? Did God come down from heaven to touch Khloe’s heart or how did it happen”

“Come in first. I don’t even know where to start from”

“Just start from anywhere but don’t even think about leaving out a single detail”

“Hmm okay. Well Liam was the one that freed me from Khloe an… ”

“What!! Which Liam? Don’t tell me it’s that playboy in your school”

“Of course he’s the one. I don’t think I know any other Liam in school apart from him”

“And you’re happy he freed you? See it’s better for you to remain a maid to Khloe forever than for you to have anything to do with Khloe

If he freed you it means he wants something from you and I’m sure you know what that means.

And he’s definitely going to achieve his plan whether you accept it willing or he does it for-cefully”
