Aubrey’s POV

I’m dressed for school now but I still have to wait for my bodyguards since they’re to follow me to school discreetly from today as ordered by ma’am Samantha.

To be honest, I don’t know how my life would have been without her.

We’re almost complete opposites of each other but we still get along as best friends.

I said almost because there’s one thing we have in common and that’s the fact that we’re both vir-gin s.

Sam can act really crazy sometimes and also behave like a bada-ss but de-eper down she’s decent.

I can’t even count the number of guys she has dated.

Some of them leave when she tells them no s-exand she breaks up with the rest herself.

Finally, the guards are ready so I can go to school now

I boarded a cab to school as usual but the only difference this time is that my guards are secretly following me.

When I got to school, I went to my locker and picked the books I will be needing for my first cla-ss.

I had not gone far when Khloe and her friends double-crossed me. Oh no, not again! What does she wants this time?

“Listen up everyone” Khloe said calling the attention of the students. Okay what is she up to now?

“This girl standing here whose name is Aubrey Connor officially became Liam’s girlfriend yesterday so you should treat her with respect from now on.

Although we don’t know if there’s something serious between them or she’s just one of his play things that he will discard when he’s done with her” Khloe concluded making the students burst into laughter.

I wanted to ask her what she meant but Liam came to drag me away.

“Thank you” I said to him and started walking away but he pulled me back

“What about what I told you yesterday? Can we spend time together whenever you’re less busy?” He asked softly and for a moment I forgot he was a playboy.

“I’m sorry but that won’t be possible. I don’t want us to be friends and I don’t want to have anything to do with you either. Excuse me” I said and walked away.

He didn’t try to stop me this time around and I must say I’m grateful for that.

Liam’s POV

This girl surely has some guts. Doesn’t she knows who I am?

Geez! She should just be thankful that I don’t ra-pe girls. Who the hell does she think she is?

Could it be that she found out about my plan already? No, that’s not possible.

No one except I and my friends know about it and I’m sure they will never betray me because they’re like the brothers I never had.

I wanted to go to my cla-ss when Khloe suddenly appeared out of nowhere. What does she wants now?

She’s probably here to rant about me leaving her for Aubrey yesterday. It’s not like she’s my girlfriend or something.

“I know what your thoughts are but that is not why I’m here” she said making me scoff

“Okay then. Why are you here?”

“Let’s just say I came to strike a deal with you

“I’m not interested in whatever deal you have” I said walking away but her next statement stopped me.

“How about I tell Aubrey about your plan?

You and your friends placed a BET on her so I could just tell her everything. What do you think?”

“What are you talking about? Who placed a bet on whom?” I asked feigning ignorance hoping it will work

“So you want to pretend? Two can play this game you know.

Let me just tell Aubrey about your plans” she added walking away but I moved to her front stopping her.

“Fine let’s make a deal. What do you want?”

“Good, now you’re talking.”

“Well, first I’ll be your official girlfriend but we’re going to keep it a secret from the public for now and I’ll also be the one to decide when to make it public.”

“Secondly, you won’t be the one to end our relationship. I will be the only one to decide when to end the relationship” she concluded

“Okay give me time to think about it”

“I will be expecting your reply tomorrow”

“What?!! I need at least a week to think about it”

“You have only today. I’m not a fool, what if you accomplish your plans before next week.

I need your answer tomorrow. Deal or no deal”

“Fine. Deal” I said reluctantly

“Alright then, see you tomorrow”

Break time

Jayden and Daniel have a whole lot of explaining to do.

Why would they tell Khloe about the plan? They’ve just succeeded in ruining everything for me.

“What’s up man?” Jayden said when I got to our usual table.

“The sky of course” I said mockingly rolling my eyes.

“Hmm, what’s wrong this time?” he asked again

“Well everything is wrong. Who among you told Khloe about our plan?” I asked with my gaze focused on them.

“It was Jayden that ran his mouth as usual and since he already mentioned it, I just decided to tell her about it.

Even if I didn’t tell her, she would have put the pieces together and find out on her own.

Why did you ask? Did something happen?” Daniel asked

“You shouldn’t have told her about it because she’s using it against me now”

“How?” Jayden asked

“She said I should make her my secret girlfriend until I carry out my plans on Aubrey or she will tell Aubrey about our plans and I only have until tomorrow to make a choice.

You know we’ve never cancelled any of our bets and the money is really huge this time so what should I do?”

“Just agree to date her and after some time, you will break up with her” Daniel suggested

“I wish it were that easy. She said she would be the one to end the relationship”

“See just forget about that for now, I’m famished so let’s it first” Daniel said

“Yeah me too” Jayden agreed

“Okay let’s eat first”
