She looks extremely beautiful as she smiled in my direction.

Thinking about it now ,I can’t believe I worked in the same floor with this beautiful woman and never noticed her .

” Where exactly are we going to ? She asked smiling in my direction.

” You’ll see ” I said lacing her small hand in mine .

I signaled my driver joma to let me take the wheels.

” But sir …” He tried to protest .

” Joma I’m good ,you go ahead and have fun . Take your girlfriend out or something” I said and he smiled.

” Thanks Boss ” he said and I gave a nod in his direction.

” You’re such a gentleman ” Imani said teasingly and I chuckled.

” Glad you feel so ” I said softly.

” Feel ? I know so ” she said and I kissed her forehead.

There’s this funny feeling in my stomach anytime I see her smile or laugh .

It feels like a thousand butterflies in my Stomach .

We got into the car and I drove out of the Delgado Estate.

” Treasure ” she called for the first time since we made it real .

” Mi Cielo” I answered back.

” Where are we going ? She asked and I shook my head

” You’ll see ” I muttered under my breath with a chuckle.

She stared in amusement as I drive into a cozy looking local restaurant .

” Wow ” she said in excitement and I raised my eyebrows in amusement.

I never brought any of my ex’s to this place because I knew what the reaction would be .

“Sweet dinner” is the resturant of my mom’s distance cousin .

Aunt Marie ,she and her husband Dalton had started this resturant after highschool back in those days and he was killed by armed robbers years later .

The resturant is a memory of their love shared together.

Although she has made a lot of money and I have offered to help severally she has refused to renovate the place .

” It’s the only memory of Dalton figlio ,I can’t ” she would always say .

” It’s so beautiful ,looks like something that has been standing for years ” she said inspecting the beauty of the place and I chuckled.

” You like it ? I asked and she smiled.

” I love it , there’s no papparazi to start hunting for stories about you and it feels cozy .

Not luxurious and flashy like those places you usually go to ” she said and gasped.

” No offense” she said and I laughed.

” Girls like those places” I teased her .

” It’s not a bad thing to like those places ,I’m not just comfortable with those places because it’s not where I hang out normally” she said and I gave a nod in understanding.

As we made our way into the resturant/bar

People where everywhere drinking ,eating , laughing and dancing.

” Wow ” she said smiling and I chuckled at her excitement.

One thing I have noticed about my girlfriend is that little things make her happy.

As we made our way inside the resturant ,my Aunt saw me and immediately our eyes met she squiled happily.

” Figlio ” she said happily as she engulfed me in a hug .

” Is this who I think she is ? ” She asked excitedly.

” Meet my woman , Imani” I said and she pulled Imani in a bone crushing hug as she kissed her forehead.

” She is so beautiful ” she complimented Imani who blushed red .

“Good evening ma’am ” Imani said shyly .

” I like her ” Aunt said and just like that ,she started fawning over my girlfriend.

“The women in your family are so energetic ” she said laughing .

” This smells delicious” she said excitedly as aunt served her love dish .

” It’s a recipe my late husband made when we started this place together many years ago ” Aunt Said as she smiled.

” It looks delicious ” Imani said staring at it curiously.

” I’m sure you will love it dear ” Aunt Said and left us to ourselves.

” You wanna have a taste of it now ? I asked gesturing towards the dish .

” Yeah ,I’m excited ” she said and I watched her keenly as she took her spoon and I watched her take it.

” How is it ? I asked staring at her preety face .

” It’s amazing ” she said nodding excitedly.

” So where is your aunt’s husband ? She asked as her eyes roamed the place.

” He died many years ago ,this is the only place that reminds her of him so …” I shrugged and she covered her mouth in shock .

” What ”

” Chill ..Aunt believes he is alive in her heart ” I said and she sniffed back tears .

” Mi Riena” I said as she cried .

” I just …I’m sorry …” She said fanning herself as tears rolled outta her eyes.

” I guess I shouldn’t have told you ” I said with a chuckle as she glared at me .

” I hate sad endings ,it scares me ” she said and I took her hand in mine and kissed it .

” Your aunt is an amazing cook ” she said excitedly .

” You can say that again ” I said as I stared at her .

” Let’s dance ” i said smiling and she raised her eyebrows.

” I can’t dance ” she said immediately .

” Let me be the judge of that beautiful” i said and extend my hand towards her .

She took my hand as we walk towards the dance floor.

My hands went over to her waist as her back made contact with my front I sucked under my breath .

She Chuckled when she noticed my reaction.

” You said you wanted to dance ” she asked naughtily.

” I said I wanted to dance mi Cielo ,I didn’t say I want to be seduced ” I said as my hands went to her hips .

She turned around and burst out laughing.

“It’s so much fun anytime I rile you up and you can’t do anything about it . It makes me like you and respect you even more ” she said and I sucked on my button lip.

” Wow and I’m the one left with blue balls ” I said and she laughed.

” Awwwwwwwwn my sweet stuff ” she said pulling my cheeks.

” Sweet stuff ? Really ? I asked and she Chuckled as she kissed my lips softly .

I bent my head kissing her slowly from the left ,she turned her head and before you knew it we were kissing each other hungrily.

She broke the kiss and hid her head on my chest .

” We need to get going now ” I said checking my watch .

” My beach house ” I Said when I noticed she raised her eyebrows.

” Sweet stuff ,my head will soon start spinning from the different houses I’ve gone to since I came here ” she said and I turned to her immediately.

” Fine ,let’s just go to my estate then ? I asked and she sighed in relief .

My phone rang as we drove towards my Estate it was Pierre .

” Now ? I asked staring at my girlfriend’s face .

” Fine ” I said and ended the call .

” Can we stop by Pierre’s first ? He’s not doing too well ” I said and she gasped .

” Really ? Oh my God ” she said worriedly and I shook my head .

I know both my friends very well and I’m sure he is just being dramatic about the whole thing .

Knowing she was a fan of Pierre ,I dare not say it.

” Is he okay Lee ? She asked frowning.

” Calm down love ,I’m sure he is okay . Besides that’s how he father’s us in his apartment anytime he breaks up with any of his numerous girlfriends” I said before I could stop myself.

” Numerous girlfriends ? She asked in shock .

” Well not like they are dating him ,they just you know …” I said gesturing .

” They just what ? ” She asked staring at my hand then to my face .

” Nothing babe, nothing” i said immediately.

” But you were saying something” she said frowning.

” I just said it’s nothing ” I said and focused on driving.

” Men ” she muttered under her breath.

” Mi Reina ,but I just said it’s nothing ,why are you saying men and shaking your head ” I asked and she raised her eyebrows at me .

” Does Pierre sleep around ? She asked and I nearly cried .

Pierre will kill me .

” Sweet stuff ” she called .

” Baby I think I’m having a serious headache ” i said and that diverted her mind from the Pierre conversation immediately.

We arrived at Pierre’s and when we got there we heard the someone singing dramatically to Adele’s someone like you .

” Lee are we in the right house ? Imani asked and I rubbed my forehead.

” Is that Pierre singing ? She asked with a chuckle.

” Yea his fvck mate broke up with him because she wanted something serious with her life ” Adonis announced as he ate from the barbeque on Pierre’s dinning table.

” Why are you crying like it’s a breakup then ? Imani asked in confusion.

I shook my head and sat down as I joined Adonis immediately.

” Because it’s a breakup ,Tasha can ride a man to his death ” he said dramatically.

” Pierre ” I scolded as I gestured towards Imani who stared at him in shock .

“Hey Imani ” he waved .

“So you’re a player Pierre ,you were my favorite ” she said and he rubbed his forehead.

” Imani I’m your favourite don’t betray me ,those two already betrayed me for barbeque. My heart is broken. ” He said and I chuckled.

” Now I know how Jesus felt that night he was betrayed ” he said and Imani felt pity immediately.

“Don’t cry Pierre ” she said and I burst into laughter.

” Pierre cry because of a woman ? That woman has not been born yet ” I said and she glared at me .

” Imani all my body is hurt ,my heart is bleeding “he said raising both hands akimbo .

” That’s just him missing the s*x already ” Adonis said and we both burst into laughter.

” If you miss Tasha that much , maybe I could talk to her for you ” she suggested and Pierre stopped the drama immediately.

” I’m fine ,I’m fine,I think I’m hungry ” he said getting up and that did it ,I laughed so hard I nearly fainted.

“You don’t miss her anymore ? She asked in shock .

” Imani don’t you want barbeque? He asked as Adonis laughed.

” I want to sleep” he said and I chuckled.

” Tasha “Adonis said laughing.

” I hate all of you “He said and we all burst into laughter.

Imani suddenly felt uncomfortable and I noticed it as the guys talked random stuffs.

“Babe is everything okay ? I asked and she looked like she would cry any moment from now .

” Lee , can you get the boys to leave please” she whispered softly.

” Leave ? Are you okay ? ” I asked worriedly and I think my tone attracted the guys.

” Lee I …, I think ” she bit her lower lip .

” My periods showed up ,I wasn’t expecting it today . It changed dates and I’m freaking out ,it’s so embarrassing I…” She trailed as her eyes stung.

She was whispering and my eyes widened realizing her fear .

I stared at Pierre’s sofa and kissed her forehead.

” Breath ” i said and she gave nods .

” Is everything okay ? Adonis asked .

” Can I have you house to myself tonight Pierre ? ” I asked and he gave nods .

” Sure ,let me get my phone ” he said as we discussed with our eyes ,they left the house .

” Goodnight Imani ” Adonis said as they left .

” You kicked him out of his own house sweet stuff” she asked shocked .

” Chill , What do you want me to do ? I asked and she blushed red .

I know the whole period thing felt really uncomfortable for her ,but I don’t mind .

I Respect women ,it’s not their fault that they go through this .

” Leon ..” she trailed .

” Hey I’m here , just tell me what you need . A warm bath ? Meds ? Tampons ? ” I asked and she blushed red .
