” You youngsters like to have sex ,but you are scared of having kids ” she said shaking her head dramatically.

” Aunt Elise Lee and I are not ready for children ” I said and she Chuckled.

” Okay I’m sorry if I’m pressurizing the both of you ,I’m just so excited ” she said and I chuckled.

” What are your plans for the evening ? She asked sweetly.

” Lee is planning to take me out ” I said and she smiled.

” I could swear on my life ,I had not idea my son had a romantic side ” she said smiling.

” Really ? Not even with his other girlfriends ? I asked and she stared at me with a chuckle.

” One thing I can say about my son is the fact that he is a one woman kind of guy . I never met any of his girlfriend’s except for Layla” she said and I gave a nod .

He and Layla might have been very serious if he even introduced her to his mom ”

They where all over the internet considering her connection with the Entertainment industry .

” I’m glad things didn’t work out between them , I never felt right about Layla ” she said patting my shoulders.

” Leon cares about you ,I have never seen my son look at a woman the way he looks at you . Make this work between you two Imani ” she said and kissed my cheeks.

” Men can be super annoying sometimes ,but try to understand him okay” she pleaded and I hugged her .

I felt so guilty at that point. Aunt Elise loved me way too much for me to do this to her .

I was feeling the guilt and it was eating me up badly .

How could I continue with this charade and give her hope that we were a thing.

What have I gotten myself Into ?

My phone rang and when I checked the caller ID it was Scarlett.

” Hey scar ” I said with a smile on my face .

” Now ? I asked laughing.

” Yes ,you need to meet penny she’s about to go on a business trip to Spain this evening” she said and I gave a nod .

” Text me the Address and I’ll meet you guys there ” I said and ended the call .

I checked my watch and then walked back to our room .

Changing into a beautiful shiffon skirt and white top ,I wore the beautiful diamond laid sandals and picked my sling bag .

Tucking in my phone ,Card and other necessary ladies stuff in my bag I removed the band from my hair , letting it cassade to my shoulders .

I got in the car and gave the address to his driver .

We arrived at the restaurant and as I got down from the car and made my way in I screamed immediately I bumped into someone .

” Ouch ” I groaned in pain as the buckle of my sandal pierced my delicate skin .

” Sh!t I’m sorry ,I’m so sorry ” he apologized and I raised my eyes to see him .

” Eddy ” I said in suprise .

” Hey Imani ” he said in suprise as bent down to help with my leg .

I winced in pain and he apologized.

” I’m sorry ‘ he said tucking both hands in the pocket of his Designer pants .

” It’s okay ,I should have been more careful’ I said with a smile .

” You are here ? I asked and he chuckled.

” I’m here for a business meeting with my cousin ” he said smiling ,which made his handsome features very visible.

” Cousin ? Is the same cousin I’m meeting with scar today ? I asked .

” Nah ,I’m sure it’s penny you are meeting today . She told me she was on her way to meet scar at her place ,I didn’t know you girls where planning a girls day out” he teased .

” Penny was at your place” I repeated ,she really might be like Zuri who invades my house .

” Penelope is very energetic she is crazy ” he said shaking his head .

” I’m quiet late for my meeting already ,can I get your number so we can you know get to know each other better if my brother doesn’t cut my neck off ” he said playfully.

” Cut your head off ? Lee is not that kind of guy . He is a gentleman” I said immediately and he burst out laughing.

” I agree , he is a gentleman until I’m involved” he said playfully.

I opened my mouth to say something but decided to let it slide .

They are brothers I shouldn’t be poking my nose in their business.

” We will talk later flower ” he teased as he hugged me .

” Bye Eddy ” I said and as I walked into the resturant after exchanging numbers with him ,I received a text .

I shook my head at his playfulness as I talked to the waiter ,he led me towards the sits .

Scar was sitted with another brown skinned beauty.

Penny was a beauty to look upon .

“Is she Nardo’s girl ? Christ look at that Backside” she said shifting her head backwards to stare at my behind.

I blushed red immediately. Why does everyone notice that immediately they see me.

It’s so embarrassing , sometimes I feel half the suitors I have ever had come to me because of my looks.

But it’s a blessing because I don’t have to stress myself to look good .

” Does leonardo let you sleep at night ? She teased.

” Scar she’s pure ” penny said out of the blue.

” You guys haven’t done it yet pearl ,can I call you that ? Your skin glitters ” she said and I sat down quietly.

” She blushed red at the mention of intimacy . Besides I trust my instincts” penny said smiling.

” My cousin must really like you he doesn’t date virgins . ” Penny said laughing.

” Leonardo and his wildness , remember that one time he was dating Anna ? That holiday in the Philippines . They won’t let us sleep at night ” penny said and they both burst out laughing as they went on and on about Leo’s escapades .

What why am I suddenly hearing about his numerous Ex’s today ?

I wonder how many more ,he has dated and the things they did in secret .

My mood suddenly turned soar at the thought.

Does he miss having szx ? Wait why am I even thinking about that ?

We are not dating for real ,he could be s*x starved for all I care .

” We should meet up a lot when I come back from my business trip ” she said and I smiled .

” I’ll be looking forward to it ” i said and scar Chuckled.

We talked about random things before deciding to call it a day .

I got home and decided to get ready for my outing with Leonardo .

When I got home ,he was back already and dressed casually in a black button town shirt and black geans.

I stared at his white converse and his hair which he left messy .

What’s up with this man ? Why was he suddenly giving me a bad boy vibe this evening.

” Goodevning Lee” I said and he gave a nod as he scrolled through his phone.

Something told me he was not in a good mood so I decided to let it slide .

I Freshened up and changed into a black jump suit that hugged my upper part and flayed down .

It looked good on me , I pulled my hair in a pony tail and paired it with red heels.

Grabbing my purse , I walked out after applying red lipstick .

” Let’s go ” he said and I wondered why he looked so angry .

It’s not like we had a big fight this morning or something .

Why am I dating this arrogant man again ? I wondered.

” Lee …” I called .

” Imani ” he called me by my name.

” Did I do something wrong ? I asked .

He ignored me and continued driving .

” Lee ..” I called again as my voice shook at the edge .

” Imani will you stop ? He snapped and I flinched .

” What did I do wrong ? … .” I managed to stutter out as I looked away and sniffed back tears .

” Don’t start your water works they don’t work on me ” he said and my jaws literally dropped as my heart squeezed in hurt .

” Lee what happened ? What have I done wrong ? I asked my voice shaking at the edge .

” Ask yourself that question until it sinks in ” he said and focused on driving.

” I’ve done nothing wrong ,I stayed with your mom and went to meet Scar and penny during lunch ,what did I do ? Are you mad about last night ? I asked in hurt .

” You think I’m mad because you refuse to sleep with me ? I’m not that shallow Imani ” he said and I stared at him in hurt .

” Then why are you mad at me? I asked.

” What where you doing with Erduardo today ? He asked and I opened and closed my mouth like a fish .

” Eddy ? You are mad at me because I talked to Eddy ? I asked in disbelief.

He is mad at me because I talked to his own brother?

” Eddy ? Really so you guys are on first name bases already ! Good very good ” he laughed bitterly.

” I don’t understand you Leonardo , what’s with this possessiveness ? Eddy and I are just friends . Besides why are you keeping tabs on me ? I asked equally getting annoyed .

“You went to see Scar and dimmed it fit to stop outside to talk to Eduardo ,why ? Do you like him ? He asked and I stared at wondering if he was drunk or something.

” You know what I can’t stand you , stop the car ” I said Angrily.

” Stop the car Leon ! He stopped the car and I opened the door got out and banged the door as I cried .

” get in the car ! “I heard his arrogant voice from inside the car .

” Get IN THE F*cking car lerato ! ” He bursted Angrily.

I walked away from his car as I cried .

He got down from the car and took long strides towards me as he turned me towards him .

” Let me go Leon ” I cried .

” Crying like a baby will not stop me from getting at you Imani ” he said and I scoffed out more tears .

I couldn’t help it ,I’ve always been one to stand for myself but I liked leonardo too much .

I wasn’t even in control of my own emotions at that point .

Each word that came out of his mouth was stabbing my fragile heart .

” Why are you so insecure about my friendship with Eddy ? He is nice and he’s not a bad person! I said my voice breaking at the edge.

“Really ? What’s with you and seeing the goodness in everyone ? Erduardo is not innocent ,he is far from innocent but if you won’t understand that fine ”

” Go ahead and continue whatever Nonsense you doing with him ”

” F*cking do whatever you want ! ” He yelled and I cried .

” You can even spread your legs if that’s what you want ,after all Layla did the same ” he said and that did it ,I slapped him across the face before I could stop myself .

” I’m not Layla ,I’m not your Ex that ruined you ” i said and grabbed his keys from his hand .

” Don’t you dare show me your face after this ” i said and walked towards his car Angrily.

Getting in his car ,I drove off leaving him in the middle of no where and I didn’t give a D*mn .
