I sat across my older brother Omari and my Dad who looked angry about the whole situation.

My mind went back to dinner the previous night with the girls and I rubbed my head .

” Dad I thought you wanted me to be in a relationship ? I asked and he scoffed .

” Of cause I wanted you to be in a relationship princess , but trust me being in the media is not a healthy way to be in a relationship ” he said and I stared at my feet .

” And do you even trust this guy ? For how long have you guys been seeing each other ? Omari asked .

” Will the both of you stop acting all possessive ? I asked and they sighed .

” You are my baby sister ,plus this guy is way out of our league . I don’t just get it ” Omari said suprised.

” You think I shouldn’t have given in to the relationship ? I asked in hurt .

” No that is not what I meant Little one ,I just don’t want him to hurt you because if he does ,I will not hesitate to kill him ” he said and I sighed .

” How will you feel if leonardo’s family says such things about me ? I asked and Dad frowned.

” You can’t blame us Baby doll , We just woke up one morning and your pictures are everywhere in the internet ”

” You know how much I hate social media attention ,it is very unhealthy” Dad complained.

” I apologise for hiding my relationship with Leonard Pai ,I did not mean to ” I said and his eyes softened towards me .

” I am not trusting that kid until I meet him personally , invite him over for dinner tomorrow evening” Dad said and I stared at Dad in shock .

” What Pai ? I asked while trying to stop myself from fainting.

” Your Boyfriend,invite him over tommorow evening ” he said and Omari gave a nod .

” Just because I told you I have a boyfriend ? And I will be traveling for a month ? I asked shocked .

” A month Imani when you have never left us for a week ”

” This is all too suspicious ” Omari said going all detective mode .

” Stop interrogating my daughter like that ,she and the Spanish guy are old enough to make their own decisions ” mom said frowning.

” Gbam ” Zuri said in the Nigerian accent .

” Seriously mom ? Omari asked .

” She will bring her boyfriend tommorow evening ,then we can talk about this ” Dad said and left the table .

” Are you okay? Zuri asked with concern.

” Okay or not , your father will come around go and help me with the vegetables ” mom said and Zuri Chuckled.

That’s one thing about my mama she still gets to make you do stuffs for her even if you are all grown up or even Married.

She doesn’t care and let me not get started on her family in Nigeria.

I still remember the last time I went to my mother’s country for a marriage function ,these people and their large ceremonies .

I shook my head to get rid of the thoughts as I walked towards the kitchen.

I washed the Vegetables and moved over to the chopper to get them ready .

After my evening with the family ,I drove towards my room and my phone pinged .

Hey Coffee girl

Coffee girl ? I wondered as I checked the number.

” Leonardo ” I muttered under my breath as I turned around and locked my car with the remote on my hand.

Goodevning sir I texted back .

Still sir ? I was hoping you found a romantic name for me by now

A smile graced my lips at his teasing nature .

I thought you are a man of few words I pressed the send button before I could stop myself.

Mi Riena ,My Queen ,he keeps calling me that even when we haven’t started fake dating yet .

Well technically cause we haven’t gone to his parents yet .

” Goodevning ma’am Nana ” I greeted my old neighbor and she glared at me .

I remember our fall out the other day ,I guess she is still mad about it .

How about dinner tommorow, we still have a few things to talk about He sent and I bit my lower lip shyly.

I wanted to talk to you first though I texted and there was no reply .

I waited a bit and when he didn’t text back ,I saved his number.

” Mr Romantic ”

Well don’t blame me ,Leonardo is one of those men that just makes a woman like them without much stress .

He his gentle ,calm and classy .

His accent” I thought as I blushed .

Walking into my apartment and bolting the door .

I walked over to my room then threw my bag on the bed ,I moved over to the bathroom to freshen up .

As the warm water touched my skin ,I sighed at the sweet feeling.

I feel so relaxed and this is heaven .

Wrapping a towel over my hair ,I changed into my Nightwear and fluffy room slippers.

My nipples stood firm against the thin fabric as I walked towards my fridge to get some orange juice .

My phone rang on a video call .

I checked the caller ID and removed the juice box from the fridge.

” Leonard ? I muttered under my breath before picking .

” Hey ” I said softly as I poured the juice into a clean glass .

“You said you wanted to tell me something ,I am sorry I just got off a call with a business partner ” he said and I sucked on my lower lip.

He looked stressed out and I noticed his hair was wet and he was wearing a white transparant shirt that did little to hide the defined abs on his chest .

” This late ? I asked before I could stop myself.

” Told you i …work a lot ” he said the last part while sitting down on what I noticed was a king sized bed but I couldn’t see it properly.

Mr Delgado is just so attractive ,the way he walks ,talks carries himself.

Even now the way he talks to me .

” You can just agree with me that you are married to your laptop Leonardo ” I said and he chuckled.

” I have to work Imani ,it’s what keeps me at the top ” he said and I guess I couldn’t argue with him.

” My Dad was upset with the whole media thing and breaking the news about my trip with you worsen things .” I explained.

” He is mad at you ? How old are you again ? He asked and I raised my eyebrows.

” Twenty five ” I muttered under my breath.

” Am I your first ? Official Boyfriend to your parents ? He asked and I opened and closed my mouth like a fish .

” Of cause not ,I just haven’t dated for a while and the men in my family are Quiet possessive ,it has always been that way with me and my older sister Zuri ” I Explained.

” When does he want us to meet ? He asked.

” You are not angry ? I asked suprised.

And here I was thinking he will say no .

“We are faking this and since you are gonna meet my family this weekend ,I guess I should return the favor ” He said and my cheeks heated in a blush .

” Thanks” I said softly.

” Goodnight I have work ” he said and just like that the line went dead .

I checked the time on my wall clock .

Work ?

This late ,that is just so unattractive for me ,yes he has an empire to run but there’s something called Rest which Mr Delgado does not understand.

My mind went back to his face and I blushed red .

I need to drink some water before I fvcking loose my mind .

Immediately I ended the call with Imani I wore my room slippers and walked over to my sitting room to call the guys .

Her Dad wants to meet me ? I can’t even remember when last I met someone’s father like that .

Except from the wealthy people who have always wanted an alliance between both families.

I meet different heiress of Rich families because Dad wants me to marry for the business.

And now this time around he keeps threatening me with making Erduardo the over all CEO of a company I have taken to greater heights.

It’s not like Erduardo is even interested in the business ,he has his shares but he has always been the direct opposite of me .

Drawing tattoos , getting in fights dropping out of college twice before graduating .

He is what we call the black sheep of the Delgado Family, He makes the tabloids for all the wrong reasons and Padre wants to make him over all CEO .

Even the thought of it ,makes my blood boil .

I have always been a calm person but when Erduardo is involved I fvcking loose my mind .

He almost ruined me , walking in on him fvcking the woman I loved is not something I can forget in my life .

We were never in good terms but using Layla to get to me was the limit .

I don’t even know how to act or what to do at a girlfriends family dinner .

Why is my life so complicated ,I sat down and video called the guys while staring at the skin anxiously .

Two images popped up immediately .

One of a shirtless Adonis and the other one of Pierre who had a beauty mask on his face .

” Why do you have a beauty mask on ? I asked before I could stop myself .

” Don’t ask ” He said blinking his eyes dramatically.

” I thought you where coming to Costa Rica soon ,that’s what you said ” Adonis said as he stared at me .

” Well she said yes …” I began but Pierre caught me short .

” Hallelujah ! ”

” Pierre ” Adonis and I said in unison .

” Stop acting like you didn’t see the news ,I know you did ” i said and Pierre Smirked.

” You my friend ,needs to be baptised with a lot of holy water because we both know how wild you can get when it comes to matters concerning the other room you ….” He trailed .

” Pierre ” I sighed .

” You see ,this is the problem I have with you and Adonis ,you guys never admit my prayers work , don’t you think you will be needing a lot of holy water after getting that girl to say yes ? He asked.

” How do you even know this girl ? Adonis asked him in suprise.

“I have my sources Strivakos , and with the B**bs and Backside my eyes saw , our friend will be needing all the luck in the world to not bend her on all fours during this one month” he declared and I groaned in frustration as they burst out laughing.

” I have self control ” I said immediately .

” I have Holy water ” Pierre added and they burst out laughing like Hiyenas .

” What’s so funny I called you guys to ask what I have to do , because I am having dinner with her family tommorow ” I said .

” So fast ? Adonis asked.

” My baby is all grown up and meeting the bride’s Family…” Pierre trailed with a girly voice as he wiped his fake tears .

” I hate you guys ” I muttered under my breath.

” Will you fvck her or not ? He asked wiggling his eyebrows.

At the look of things I think I am going to sell my Best friends.
