” I believe if this merger continues your Estate will be ready before the end of this month Mr Vasquez ” I said to a client and he smiled.

” Excellent Leonardo ,I have always trusted the D constructions for a long time ,you are a promising and successful young man just like your father ” he said and I bit my lower lip to control myself from snapping at him and telling him I am nothing like my wor`thless father .

Not after he left us for another family .

“When will you be coming to Costa Rica ? I am sure my daughter Camila will be expecting your presence ” He said and I smiled politely.

” I have a girlfriend Sir ” I said and he laughed .

” Nonsense hehehehe ,a girlfriend is not a wife Amico , You can only stop giving women a chance when you are officially married ” he said and I looked away then pinched the bridge of my nose .

” Camilla and I will be expecting your visit when you arrive in Costa Rica . Your father and I have wanted this for years and this could be a good merger between both companies considering the fact that you are the have more potentials in taking over as the overall CEO or are you going to give that up for your brother Eduador ? He asked Smirking.

” I have a meeting now Mr Vasquez ,We will talk some other time ” I said and he chuckled softly as we shook hands.

” Think about it Amico ” he said and walked out of my office with his personal assistant.

” Sir are you okay ? Jeff asked noticing the expression on my face.

” I want to be left on my own for now ” I said and he bowed before exiting my office.

Walking over to the espresso machine on the opposite ,I took off my jacket and rolled up the sleeves of my dress shirt .

I walked over to my arm chair and hung the suit before going back to make myself a cup of espresso.

I stired lightly with a spoon as my mind went back to the last argument I had with my father .

Eres mi primer hijo y me Vas a escuchar Nardo {You are my first son and you will listen to me Nardo ! }He fired Angrily in his office .

“First Son ? I am glad you still remember Padre ! “I said angrily and he banged the table .

Eduador stood at the opposite end clad in his Cow boy hat and boots .

I hated the fact that we looked alike the truth was we were nothing like each other.

He is just a spoilt brat who messed around with people’s happiness.

Mine inclusive he is selfish and I can’t bring myself to ever forgive him for causing me pain .

” Hermano ” Eduardo called and I turned .

” Don’t you dare call me your brother ,do you even consider me your brother or this is one of you tricky games to try and hurt me again ? I asked and he pinched the bridge of his nose something we both have in common.

” Don’t try to grow more than your wings Hijo{ son } or I will cut them off before you get to fly ” Dad said angrily.

” I’m not scared of your threats Padre , Soy tu hijo no yu propiedad { I am your son not your property}I said in equal anger .

” You talk to me like this in the presence of Eduardo what do you teach your El confrade ? He asked angrily.

” I am sure we don’t share a bond Padre accept from having your genres he and I have nothing in common ” i said and Eduardo raised his tatoo hands with a smirk on his face.

He had always been a bad boy and that wasn’t something new .

Sleeping with Layla knowing fully well how much I loved her ruined any chances of us ever sharing a sibling bond .

He could stab me with a knife from behind if it was that easy to fvck a woman he knew I was going to Marry .

I snapped out of my thoughts as I checked the time on my rolex watch .

My eyes moved to the door as it opened .

” Jeff I asked not to be disturbed…. ” I stopped my trail of words when I noticed it wasn’t Jeff on the door but Imani .

She had the contract on her left hand and looked really disturbed .

I guess she must have seen the news by now ,that’s the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes this morning .

And I’m pretty sure the news has crossed borders by now .

” Good morning Imani have a sit ” I said and gestured towards the empty sit .

I moved over to my chair as I sat down and stared at her spotless face .

It was hard to see her with makeup on and it’s one of the things I admire about her .

She was wearing a classy formal dress and transperant glass heels to match.

I stared at how it hugged her in all the right places yet I a decent way .

Her hair was pulled in a neat bun .

I stared at the files in front of me then to her face .

” I guess you saw the news ? I asked softly .

” Sir my face is all over the news ” she said angrily after placing the files on the table .

” I gave you heads-up about it Imani ” I said and she folded her hands cutely .

” Sir …” She trailed .

” Leon ” I said and she bit her lower lip then took a deep breath in and out.

” I am a very private person ” she complained.

” I am sorry about that Mi Reina { My Queen } I said and she raised her eyebrows suspiciously.

” What does that mean ? She asked and I Choked on the coffee I was drinking and winced .

“Mierda {Sh!t} ” I cursed in Spanish .

” I am so sorry ” She said in shock .

” My Sister will be so mad at me when she finds me in this condition . I have burns on my chest ..how the hell am I supposed to model for her ?” I said before I could stop myself.

” You model ? She asked in shock .

” You know nothing about the man you are dating then ” i said and she blushed .

” Fake Dating Leonard ” she said and I stared at her in amusement with my eyebrows raised and she looked away shyly .

” I like it ” I said and she stared at me .

” Like what ? She asked.

” When you call my name ” I said and she opened and closed her mouth cutely.

” You haven’t told me yet ” she said and I began to loose the buttons of my top as I leaned on the chair .

” Told you what ? I asked while staring at my chest .

” What you meant by Mi Riena” She said and I chuckled .

” It means my Queen ” I said and when I raised my eyebrows she was staring at my chest in shock .

” I need to leave ” she said standing up immediately .

” Is everything okay ? I asked and she stared at my face then to my chest .

” Am I making you uncomfortable ? I asked with concern .

” No I don’t have something to do at the office ” she said and missed her step landing butt first .

” Jesus ! She screamed and her eyes widened in shock when she noticed I was just opposite her .

” You need to be very careful Mi Riena ” I said and she blushed red.

” Sir ..I mean Leonard ” she trailed .

” How about you think of something romantic before our trip this weekend ? You can’t call me Leonard ,my sister is a hopeless romantic you see ” I said and she got up .

“This weekend sir do you want to kill me ” She asked and I raised my eyebrows.

” I should be asking you that considering the fact that you have turned me into a roasted chicken with how many times you have poured hot coffee on me ” i said and she turned dramatically just to miss her step again but I held her just before she could fall again.

” This is so Embarrassing! She yelled dramatically.

” Agreed ” I said as she matched towards the door then turned.

” I will see you ” I said and smiled politely.

She left my office and I burst into laughter.

Jeff Walked into my office.

” Boss are you okay? He asked and I sat down as I laughed all over again.

This girl is hilarious.

It’s official my family people are against me it is preety clear now ! I thought as I huffed in anger while walking into mom’s resturant where I was supposed to meet the girls .

” Hey baby girl ” Avy waved excitedly as she winked at me .

She was wearing a blue ankara dress with which ended just after her butts and black heels .

Tegs on the other hand wore black formal Pants and White sleeve .

” You Sneaky little fox ” Tega hailed .

” Ashewo ! Avy screamed shaking her butts and everyone turned their attention to us they began to whisper.

My cheeks heated in a blush as I shook my head.

” You told us you would say no ” Avy whispered teasingly.

” I figured I needed his help too ” I whispered back softly.

” Hey my favorite girls ” mom said coming over to us .

” Iya Imani you looking gorgeous as always ” Tega said hailing mom .

” Ah if I had another son ,tell me why he wouldn’t marry you Tega ” mom said and we burst into laughter.

” What do you guys wanna eat ?

South African or Nigerian ..

The menu is here ,I have some south African jollof , Bobotie ,Vetkoek , Ugali ,Samoosa ” Name them .

Or you guys want something light ? She asked and wiggled her eyebrows at me .

” Your face plastered on the television and media tabloids wasn’t your father’s favorite way to wake up Ayomi he is angry ” she said and I cursed under my breath.

My father is a very private person this must have come as a shocker .

He never gets angry and now this ,what happens when I break the news of my one month trip ?

This man is turning my life upside down without even trying hard .

” Hey People ” Zuri said excitedly catwalking into the resturant dramatically.

” Hey mama ” she said kissing both sides of her cheeks.

” You sneaky little fox ,I wasn’t buying that he gives to all the employees She said mimicking me .

” I don’t sound like that Zuri ” I said frowning.

” What spell did Mr Delgado cast on you ? She asked staring at me teasingly.

” I was beginning to think you will die pure ” she said and they burst out laughing after mom left .

” Are you really my sister ? I asked .

” Tell me about this guy …” She said excitedly.
