I arrived at the office after my breakfast meeting with a few clients .

I walked into my private elevator and frowned when someone ran into mine without checking .

I raised my eyebrows in amusement when I noticed it was non other than miss lerato .

And why is she wearing such an indecent dress today ? I wondered as her long fingers moved to pull her dress down.

She seem to be in a hurry and that’s how I noticed she was just arriving.

My eyes moved to my watch .

She’s late Again today ,She tried to put her floor number and frowned .

She Cursed under her breath and tried again .

” What. ..” she trailed probably wondering what went wrong .

” The more you try ,the more confusing it will get ,it’s not going in your direction ” I said calmly and she froze .

Her eyes widened in shock as she turned dropping her coffee in accident the process.

It splashed on his Shoes ruining my socks in the process and I winced at the hot sensation .

I raised my face in her Direction and what she said next shocked me to the bones .

” Sir it’s the Devil ” she muttered under her breath .

Realizing her blunder ,her cheeks heated in embarrassment.

” I perceive I am the Devil then ? Considering the fact that you have poured hot coffee on me twice ” I said and she opened her mouth to say something then closed it back .

” Sir …” She trailed .

” Leon ” I said and she blushed red .

” It was a mistake Sir ” she said immediately.

” Leon ” I Corrected her .

” You are my Boss ” she said in horror .

” You didn’t think twice before pouring coffee on me twice and I’m beginning to think it is now a ritual between us ” I said smirking.

” Sir I have never been this clumsy ,I don’t know what is happening to me lately I just ….” She trailed .

” I’m not forgiving you this time around ” I said and the elevator came to a stop .

I walked out and I could feel her behind me .

She cursed under her breath followed by noise .

I turned and she picked her bag ,my eyes moved over to her Backside and suprisingly I couldn’t look away.

She had tiny waist and her long Beautiful legs complimented her behind .

I pinched the bridge of my nose and cursed under my breath .

Such dresses are not even aloud in the office ,I am a man of great self control and this African woman …..

” Good morning Mr Delgado …” Jeff trailed staring at my feets then his eyes went to miss lerato .

He chuckled and one look from me shut him up .

” Get me now shoes ” I said walking towards my office.

” It will be new pants the next time ” I heard him Chuckle but decided to ignore him .

I walked into my office then took off my shoes .

The weekend is getting closer and I still don’t know what to do about the whole fake girlfriend situation .

Miss Lerato already said No to my face and I am not about to ask another girl to fake date me .

I took off my shoes and wore a room slippers l normally use anytime I stay overnight at the office .

” Sir Miss lerato wants to see you ” Jeff said coming in and I raised my eyebrows at him .

” She is standing outside ” he said walking over to me with the new shoes .

” Let her in ” I said sitting down on my arm chair .

She walked in and stared at my office then back at me .

Jeff bowed and exited the room immediately .

” Have a sit miss lerato ” I offered then gestured towards the chair .

She sat down and stared at me keenly.

” Is there something on my face ? I asked softly and she shook her head negatively.

She’s cute

” Sir ,I swear whatever happened in the elevator was not my intention …I ” she trailed

” You said that already” I cut her shot and she opened and closed her mouth like a fish .

” Sir have you forgotten about the incident ? She asked hopefully.

” No ” I said holding her gaze . She looked away suddenly feeling intimidated .

” Sir this job is really important for me ” she said and I smirked .

I felt like actually laughing but held it in .

I have never met such a dramatic person . I guess she feels I will fire her after her second mistake .

Leaning on my chair I stared at her face .

Button nose and long black lashes.

Her lips ,I looked away before I could think about them.

” You poured hot coffee on me twice yet said no when I asked you for a favor ” I said and she looked up .

” Sir you asked me to be your fake girlfriend ” she said like it was a sin or something .

” So ? I asked staring at her and she stared back in shock .

” That is a crazy request ” she said frowning .

” Pouring hot coffee on me is crazier miss lerato ” I said and she glared daggers at me .

” So you are going to fire me ? She asked softly.

” Think about my proposal ” I said back .

” Sir you are blackmailing me .

” I’m going to pay you just name your price ,I just need you for a few months ,trust me it’s just normal publicity stunt . Convince my family especially my mom …” I trailed .

” Sir you want to lie to your mom ! She said in horror.

” You won’t understand ” I said running my fingers in my hair .

” Sir I can’t …” She trailed .

“There’s no sex involved if that’s what you are worried about ,we just have to pretend on front of people that is it ,plus you have to stay a month with me in Costa Rica ..” I trailed explaining everything.

She stared at me silently.

” Please” I said and she stared at me in suprise.

” Okay ” she muttered under her breath and I stared at her in shock .

” What ? ” I asked .

” I said okay ” she said and I had to control myself from actually dancing.

” Oh , good good ..I will inform Jeff to get my lawyer to draw the contract .” I said and she rubbed her hands nervously.

” Sir is it really necessary ,I mean the contract ? She asked .

” I am a business man ,it is very necessary ” I said and she gave a nod .

” How about dinner tonight ,so we can talk about this properly ? I asked and she hesitated for a while .

” Please” I said before I could stop myself.

I am not the type to ask for things not even from scar or mom .

But here I am saying please twice to the same woman .

“Sir your meeting in five minutes” Jeff said interrupting us .

She got up and gave a nod before leaving my office.

Jeff stared at her excitedly then back to me .

” I pay you to mind your business Jefferson” i said and he laughed.

Hopefully she meets me up for dinner because I am about to loose my mind .

You said yes ? What where you fvcking thinking ? My mind asked immediately I got to my office .

He said please and I just couldn’t resist .

Besides I feel like I owe him one considering the fact that i poured hot coffee on him twice and he didn’t react .

Fake girlfriend ? My mind asked again .

You’re playing take girlfriend , meaning he is playing fake boyfriend too .

Besides I get to walk away with money and he’s not going to get in between my legs .

Plus mom can finally get off my neck for a few months .

It is a win win situation for the both of us .

I don’t think I can tell anyone as of now , because I don’t need more teasing from the girls .

Hopefully they won’t keep Zuri posted about what is going on because if Zuri gets the information, mom gets it too .

After work ,I packed my car and strolled into the estate .

” Goodevning Imani dear ” Nana said and I smiled at the old woman .

” Good evening Nana how was your day ? I asked taking out my keys from my bag.

” It was fine dear, since when did you start wearing short dresses ” she asked and I turned with a smile .

” I know you really want to get married dear but wearing short dresses wouldn’t bring you a good man . Real men don’t eat open food ” she started her long lectures .

” Be a good girl Imani, I think the Nigerian girl and your English friend is beginning to rub off on you ” she trailed .

” Nana please stop it ” i said and her jaws dropped in shock .

” I will listen to anything you have to say but not a word about Tega and Avy . I pay my house rent and you pay yours so stay in your limits ” I said before I could stop myself.

” Oh my goodness ! She screamed in horror.

” You heard me and one more thing ,tell your daughters to know what birth control is all about ..” I said and she placed one hand on her heart she looked like she will pass out from the shock .

” They are taking God’s word too serious ,when he said we should to to the world and multiply ,he wasn’t speaking directly to them ” I said and walked into my apartment .

I could hear her throw harsh words saying I will be nothing like her daughters .

I rubbed my forehead after my outburst .

Anger has always been my weakness ,once i am angry ,I tend to say hurtful things without controlling myself .

Meeting with Mr Delgado by 8pm ,Flora’s Dinner

I stared at the text then threw my phone on my bed .

Sighing softly I went into the bathroom to freshen up .

I changed into something casual .

Feeling a bit under the weather so I wore comfy clothes instead .

What if it’s a formal dinner ? My mind asked .

I don’t care it’s not like We are a real couple or something .

So technically ,I have a boyfriend now ? I wondered.

” Fake boyfriend ” I muttered under my breath.

I wore my sneakers and checked my outfit out in the mirror . Black Sweater and Boyfriend jeans before walking out of my apartment .

The drive to the restaurant was a bit long ,I got down and walked inside .

” Welcome to Flora’s Dinner ” the man at the door welcomed me in .

” This way madame” the Waiter said .

” I’m here for Mr ..” I trailed .

” Delgado of D constructions right ? He is in the Vip section and has asked me to escort his lady ” He said and I gave a nod speechlessly.

His lady ?

I walked into the VIP section and he seem to be busy with a phone call .

My eyes trailed how Sexy he looked .

” Scar I am out on ,Why do you wanna know ? He asked the chuckled .

” I will talk to you later Sis , Fine Gracias ” he said and cut the call .

” Hey ” he said as his eyes trailed my outfit.

” Goodevning” I said trying to be comfortable in his presence .

How do I even shake off the fact that I am with my Boss and it’s not even office hours.

” Have a sit ” he said and I sat down ,my eyes scanned the area .

” This place is beautiful ” I said and he smiled .

” Glad you feel so ” he said and I bit my lower lip to stop myself from staring at his attractive face .

How the hell am I supposed to fake Date this man 😭😭😭
