Dinner at Mom’s resturant was terrible .

I mean the whole time ,I just sat receiving advice from her and now that she saw Mr leonardo’s business card it won’t be long before she starts frustrating me with topics about him .

Speaking of Mr Delgado , there’s no way I’m saying yes to his sick proposal .

Fake girlfriend ,how the hell can I fake being a girlfriend to someone like him ?

All that man has to do is stare at you intensely and it will take a strong willpower not to fall .

I walked into my kitchen to do the dishes after texting the head of my department .

I’m not the type to take leaves unecesarily so when I called to take a leave he agreed immediately .

Opening my windows to let air into my apartment ,I stared at the tall trees and people around the beach .

The estate where I stay is situated close to the beach and tourist where walking around .

I freshened up and changed into a tick sweater and geans .

I let my hair down in curls and my phone rang .

I checked on the caller ID and screamed in excitement.

” Hey Tega ” I said smiling .

” Hey Baby girl , I’m in town ” she said as I picked my sling bag .

” How was your trip to Nigeria ? I asked and she Chuckled.

” It was normal I’m glad to be back , hopefully I’m not piled up with work at the office ” she said and I chuckled .

” Let’s meet up ,my place ,I’ve called Avy I’m sure she’s already in my house ” she said laughing.

” Avy is crazy ” I said as we laughed .

I drove towards Tega’s place with a smile on my face .

Arriving at her penthouse ,I shut my door and the man at the gate let me in .

” Miss Tega is inside” he said and I smiled at him then made my way in .

” Ashewo …Ashewo ” I heard Tega hailing as Avy twerked untop her couch .

” She’s calling you a prostitute and you’re dancing ! That’s insane ” I said with hands folded and Tega burst out laughing.

” You didn’t tell me how your date went ? You fvcking avoided my questions ” Averyl said as she walked over to Tega’s kitchen and returned with a chilled bottle of water .

” It was a disaster man proposed marriage saying he’s my savior and a lot of Bs” I said frowning and Tega laughed.

” Cleared the Bills and walked out after asking him to fvck off ” I said and they screamed excitedly.

” That’s it sisters ,that shit right there is sweeter than Sex ” She said and my cheeks in heated in a blush .

” So …how are you and your hot Spanish Boss …” Tega asked .

” Zuri ” I muttered under my breath.

” So I can’t tell my sister something that should stay between us ? I asked shocked.

” Nothing except from the fact that I poured hot coffee on my Boss ” I said and sat down on the love sofa opposite the both of them .

” Did you hit your head somewhere ? Tega asked looking at me suspiciously.

” You sure we won’t take her to the hospital for checkup ? She turned to Avyrll.

My mind went to Mr Delgado and I sighed .

How long will I run ? I wondered calmly .

Spending the night at Tega’s to have girls time , I Woke up late the next morning.

Rushing out of her bedroom I met Avy eating breakfast and Tega still in her Nightwear .

” Hey sugar you looked exhuasted so I figured you needed to rest ” she said and I rubbed my forehead.

Tega has the mother spirit amongst the three of us ,while Zuri plays older sister for everyone.

” This is almost nine o’clock I was supposed to report to work by 8 ” I said frowning .

” Babes chill what is the worse thing that can happen ? Just freshen up and I guess I have something you can wear to work . You and this your wife hope and butts ” she said with a chuckle.

” I am late ” I said frowning.

” You both are bad influences ” I said and Avy laughed.

I Freshened up and stared at the red dress .

” I think this is decent enough if you add the Jacket ” she said .

” The length ” I said frowning as I stared at the other dresses .

” Blame you Backside” she said and I took the dress from her then headed to the bathroom .

” Whoops Sugar you look like the reason why men get seduced ” She said and my cheeks heated in a blush .

” I’m late I will see you after work ” I said and rushed out of the door .

The dress ended way before my knees so anytime I walk ,it only pulled the fabric upwards.

I arrived at the office and rushed towards the Elevator with my coffee from Starbucks ,the receptionist stared at me in shock . Immediately I got into the elevator , I sighed in relief .

I tried to put my floor number and frowned .

Why isn’t this going in my direction ,I tried pressing the buttons again .

” What. ..” I trailed .

” The more you try ,the more confusing it will get ,it’s not going in your direction ” I heard the voice I would recognize anywhere.

My eyes widened in shock as I turned dropping my coffee in accident as it splashed on his expensive Italian shoes .

He winced in frustration then raised his blue eyes in my direction .

” Sir it’s the Devil ” I muttered under my breath .
