The Female Soldier, Episode 10

"Did you or did you not send the female soldier to kidnap me? You think I won't find out? You think she will not expose you? She told me everything. She told me how you sent her to kill me but she decided to save my life and instead kidnapped me. She told me you didn't want your wife to know about me and that was why you wanted to eliminate me at all costs. I'm grateful to the female soldier who exposed your wicked plans against me and my baby. Thank God your plan failed and now, I have the chance to eliminate you." The side chick said. She had the gun pointed at the General who knelt down and was begging profusely. He was in his uniform, but the side chick had removed his cap, revealing his bald head.

"Put down the gun and don't pull the trigger. Put down the gun, it's a dangerous weapon. You could kill me if you pull the trigger. Please, don't shoot. We can settle this amicably. I'm sure there is a misunderstanding somewhere but we can settle this amicably in love and understanding. Why are you pointing the gun at me? didn't send anyone to kill you, she lied to you. I'm your love. Have you forgotten all I did for you? I have been taking care of you for many years. I could not have planned to kill you. How can I kill my own woman?" The General asked, but the side chick remained defiant and unperturbed by his words. She had made up her mind to climate him because the female soldier brainwashed her and made her believe she was in serious danger if the General lived.

"Shut up your dirty mouth. What did you do for me? I was living my life when you got me pregnant. I did not bargain to be a mother at this age, but you made it happen because of your desire to have a male child. Let me tell you, I'm the one doing you a favour here. So, please, spare me the nonsense you are saying. You are saying you love me, yet you sent the female soldier to kill me. If not that she was compassionate enough to spare me, I would have been dead by now. So, it is my turn to deal with you." The side chick said. The General was sweating profusely and he was beginning to realize that it could be the end of the road for him.

Although the General was at his side chick's house with his body guards who are equally armed, he did not go into the room with them. They were stationed outside the compound, guarding the gate. They were not aware of whatever was happening inside the house so there was no way they could help him out. They were patiently waiting for him, not knowing that he was in huge trouble in the hands of his side chick.

"Please, make sure you don't pull the trigger. I can't die now. Please, I will give you all that you want. If you want money, I can give it to you. Whatever you want, just name it, you will get it. Please, spare my life." The General said. He has a small gun in a small pouch on his waist but there was no way he could get his hand on the gun. However, at long last when matter turned to mathias', he decided to risk it. Gradually, he lifted his hand towards where the gun was on his waist. He tried to pull out the gun, but it was too late. The side chick shot him fatally and he died instantly.

"I told you not to try anything stupid. I told you but you never listened." The side chick said. She quickly took her bag and left the room and walked towards the gate of the compound. When she got close to the gate, she peeped and saw some soldiers who had come with the General, then she thought twice about leaving the compound through that gate. She went through the second gate at the back of the compound and safely escaped.

After waiting for a long time, the General's guards came into the compound to find out what was keeping him. Actually, one of them had thought he heard a gunshot from inside the compound, but they never took it serious. When they came into the room, they found the General's lifeless body. At that time, the side chick was long gone.

That same night, the female soldier heard the news that a military General had been killed by an unknown assailant. She was overjoyed that her plan came to pass.

"Revenge has been served." The female soldier tells Leke.

"Tell me, do you have anything to do with his death? I hope you don't have a hand in the General's death? And I hope no one will trace you to my house?" Leke asked.

"I think it is karma that dealt with him. I have nothing to do with his death." The female soldier responded.

"Well, if you say so. But I have a more important question to ask you." Leke said.

"Ask your question. I'm ready to answer you." Said the female soldier, with a mild smile on her face. They were in Leke's house, having a good time.

"Can I take you out tomorrow evening?" Leke asked, gently taking the female soldier's hand.

"I think will consider your request." The female soldier responded with an approving smile. Leke knew that with the smile dancing on her face, there was no way she was going to reject his proposal to go out on a date with him.

"Just say yes and stop putting me in suspense. I'm dead serious about this." Leke said.

"Fine, you win. We go out tomorrow." The female soldier said.
