Lightweight

Blake

Nicole was five shots in, and she wasn't wrong about being a lightweight. Not that I minded. This was the most attention she'd given me the past month of us being roommates.

She was currently squeezing my bicep, throwing back a sixth shot before burying her face in my chest and letting out the cutest little giggle.

"I feel so gooood."

I chuckled, holding her steady by grabbing her arms and pushing her back to look at her flushed face. Damn. A real lightweight. I've had lightweight friends before, but never this bad.

Her hooded gaze looked up at me and she grinned, pulling the cutest dimples in. It was only the second time I've seen her smile, and already I wanted to see it again. In fact, I didn't think I could ever get tired of seeing it.

Sure I've seen and slept with plenty of beautiful women, and maybe it was the thrill of the chase for one that barely spared me a glance, but I didn't think I've ever desired a woman more. Especially when she allowed me to see those dimples go right into her cheeks as her slightly crooked—yet adorable—teeth made their appearance.

She patted her face as a frown took over. "Do I have something on my face? Oh my, is it my makeup? What's wrong with it?" She continued to have a mini panic attack as she touched every surface of her face.

Chuckling, I grabbed her hands and held them in both of mine as I shook my head at her. "You look fine. Quit worrying."

Her brows deepened. "Then why are you looking at me like that?"

"Because you're beautiful."

The most adorable shade of pink flooded her cheeks as she turned right around to ask Justus for another shot. Clearly not wanting me to see how much I affected her. But if I was learning anything tonight, it was that she was more attracted to me than she let on. That only gave me more motivation to work my charm with her.

I was already trying, but not really.

Giving me a hesitant look, Justus held the bottle away from her, making her whine when he refused to pour her a seventh shot.

"Pour me another, pleeeease!"

He snorted when she tripped over her own foot when she tried to reach for the bottle. Considering he was about half a foot taller than her, I didn't see how she thought that would go. Holding her steady with his free hand, he signaled for me to grab her with a nod of his head.

My pleasure.

Throwing back the last bit of my beer, I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her waist from behind. It was hard to miss the whole body shiver that went through her the moment she felt me behind her. I smirked.

Now that was ego boosting as all hell.

The girl who claimed hated me and despised the idea of rooming with me was actually attracted to me deep down? I was never giving up on having her now.

Rubbing her sides gently, I had to hold back a groan when she let out the softest moan. Goosebumps erupted all over her arms and she gripped the still-empty shot glass as if her life depended on it.

Justus had walked away the second I had her in my arms, and Patricia was busy knocking back shot after shot, using beer as her chaser like an idiot. Tried stopping her, but no one on earth could stop her no matter what. Especially not when she was drunk. She was stubborn as all hell, but she was still my sister and I loved her. Didn't stop me from calling her out on her stupidities, and it also didn't stop her from calling me a dickhead and a walking syphilis.

I had to look the word up, going down a spiral of horrific images that almost made me stop sleeping around. Almost. It did, however, make me more cautious and use more protection.

Nicole grabbed my wrists and I froze when she kept her fingers wrapped around me. I imagined how those same hands would feel if they were wrapped around my dick. I could tell she was contemplating about something when she just kept her hands there without moving. I just didn't know what, but I wanted to know.

As if realizing that whatever she was thinking of was wrong, she shook her head and dropped my arms before running back up to Justus, catching him off guard and taking the bottle from him. She actually succeeded in doing so as well. He just laughed and shook his head at her.

I watched as she poured herself another shot and looked at me for a few seconds with an unreadable expression before throwing it back, making a face as if she was holding back a gag. Wouldn't have blamed her since she chose to not chase it with anything.

"Whew!"

"I think she's had enough," Patricia patted my shoulder as she passed by me towards the cooler, probably to grab yet another beer for herself. Her legs were starting to wobble and she gave me a sheepish grin when she used me as support. "I think me too."

I nodded. "Yeah, you've both had enough."

"Yeah, yeah." She waved me off as she went to the cooler, pulling out a water bottle instead. "I'll just have this now."

"Good."

As she passed by Nicole, she snatched the bottle from her and kissed her temple, confusing the hell out of Nicole. I held in my laugh when her brows furrowed and she pouted her lips. She touched the area my sis kissed then looked back at Patricia, who was handing the bottle back to Justus.

Nicole's eyes then met mine and I smirked, somehow making her blush even more. I watched as she rubbed a hand down her face before she went to grab a water bottle for herself.

When she went to sit on her bed, I followed and sat less than a foot away from her. I could tell she was trying her hardest to avoid eye contact, focusing on her water bottle and every single sip she took from it. She was about halfway done with it before she finally decided to meet my eyes.

"What, Blake?" She asked, trying to sound irritated but failing. It came out more breathy than she probably intended.

I did the cliche shit men did and reached forward to move her hair away from her face, tucking most of it behind her ear. When my hand touched the side of her neck, I could feel how warm she was. If I hadn't known any better, I would've thought she was coming up with a fever. The flushed complexion only added to it.

She closed her eyes for a minute as I cupped her neck, desperately wanting to lean in and kiss her. But I wanted her to initiate it. It was asking for too much from her, but a guy could hope.

After what felt like eternity, she leaned in and I leaned in with her. She was breathing heavily, as if it was taking everything inside her to get close to my body. And right when I thought she was gonna kiss me, she dropped her head to my shoulder and groaned. Loud.

Patricia and Justus both turned to look at us, completely ignoring whatever video they were watching on my bed. Patricia looked at me and raised a brow. I just shrugged the shoulder Nicole wasn't on and rubbed a hand up and down her back.

She mumbled something into my shirt, but I couldn't understand a word she said.

"What?"

She turned her head so she could talk more clearly into my ear. "Quit being hot," she whispered, sending a chill of desire down my body as her breath fanned against the sensitive skin on my neck.

"I'll quit being hot when you quit, too."

She blew out an amused breath, tracing shapes on my chest with the tip of her index finger. "I'm not hot."

"Oh, but you are, sweet cheeks." I groaned when her finger became too adventurous, finding the button of my jeans. It felt innocent. The way she just tapped the metal button, but it only fueled my desire for her. "You're one of the hottest girls I've seen."

"But not slept with," she moved her face closer to my neck and I felt myself tense.

"Only because you haven't let me," I admitted.

I looked back over to the other two in the room and sighed in relief when I saw that they were focused on Justus' phone again, laughing at whatever they were watching. Still, I hated that they were here when she was being bold for the first time.

Then again, not like anything would've happened if they weren't here to begin with. Nicole was drunk, and I didn't take advantage of women. Which was why I gently pushed her away from me and smiled at her.

Her gaze was hooded as she looked up at me, confused brows making her look like an innocent pup who didn't get their treat.

"I'd love to have you, Nicole." I made sure she heard me clearly by grabbing her shoulders and looking into the beautiful pair of eyes she had. "But not when you're not fully here, aware with me."

Sighing, she dropped her head on my shoulder again and nodded.

"Thank you."
