Savvy's P.O.V ... Sick of My Life

<><><><><><><>

Savvy’s P.O.V

I leaned up against the lockers and stared at Allen, who was talking to Tom across the hall, about something.

Ever since Monday, I haven’t been able to stop smiling, due to the simple fact that the guy I love, Allen, is now my boyfriend. He even told his mom we are dating, so now she knows about us is why as of right now, I can’t go over to Allen’s house. He was right about how he was going to watch me very closely since we are going out, I find myself being by his side all day. He even has been staying some nights at the hotel with me. No we haven’t done anything (if you know what I mean) … yet … but he just keeps saying he wants to keep me safe. I have asked him why, and he says I have to wait till Wednesday.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it’s Wednesday, and I can barely contain my happiness. Today is my date with Allen and by golly he is going to tell me why he is so worried about his mom hurting me in some way …

Maddy, Hope, nor Kay has asked me how I am doing or why I’ve been smiling for the past two days, because since Monday, we all haven’t really talked. Yesterday morning everyone called me and said they’re getting different rides to and from school from now on, until father notice.

I knew Hope was riding with Tom; after all he had a car and told me on Monday afternoon, that he was going to start taking her to and from school.

As for Maddy, well, I think she’s been getting rides from Troy. I smirked at the thought of them, together. They most definitely are a couple, right now. You can find them walking down the halls, holding hands. It’s so cute, but the moment someone comments on them being a cute couple, Maddy dashes off. I don’t think she likes it when people say anything about them being a couple. Maddy is the kind of girl that takes a while to warm up to things. She is never one to rush into something. I think, Troy on the other hand, really wants to just rush into being in a relationship with Maddy. Not in the player kind of why, but in the fact that he likes her and wants people to know. I think he like to be dominant in a relationship and that is not going to go over well with Maddy. She likes to be in control when ever possible.

As for Kay, I’ve no idea who she was getting a ride from … I do needed to find out, but the thing is I haven’t seen her since Monday. She didn’t seem to come to school yesterday, or at least I didn’t see her in school nor, at lunch. I knew she was not one to randomly skip school; something had to be going on.

“Hey, baby.” I nearly jumped a foot in the air. Allen grabbed me, afraid that I was going to fall. “You okay?” He asked me.

“Uh, yeah, you just scared me.” His smile that he had on his face dropped.

“I thought you saw me walk over to you. You were looking at me.” He spoke. I sighed.

“Sorry, I guess I was thinking so hard I didn’t notice.” Allen nodded and gave me a worried look. “Oh, it’s nothing bad … have you seen Kay around?” I asked, hoping he had.

“Ummm, actually, I haven’t seen her since lunch on Monday, before the whole almost fight thing with Dylan and Troy … and as I think about it, I haven’t seen Dylan since then either.” He noted. My eyes grew wide as thoughts of what was going on filled my head.

“D-do you think Dylan

kidnapped Kay, and he’s taking her to Mexico so he can sell her off for drugs?! What if the monkeys invaded and they kidnapped Dylan and Kay!-” Allen cut me off by placing a kiss on my forehead.

“Shhh, Savvy, you are going to work your brain too much. Your brain is not use to so much thinking.” I slapped Allen’s arm, he chuckled. “Just joking, baby.” I sneered at him.

“I think we should-” I stopped talking as my nose got a tickling feeling. “ … AHHHCHOO!” I sneezed. Allen’s brown eyes looked at me with concern.

“Baby, you okay? Need a tissue?” Allen asked me. I shook my head when I realized nothing came out of my nose, I was all good. “Are you getting sick?” He asked me.

“What? Sick? No, I never get sick.” Allen raised an eyebrow at me. “I promise, I’m not getting sick, it was one sneeze. My body knows not to get sick today.”

“Oh, yeah, why is that?” Allen questioned.

“Because I have a date tonight … My date is supposed to tell me something very important, that I’ve been waiting a long time to hear.” Allen smiled at me.

“Really? May I ask who you are going out with?” He quizzed me, but his joking smile made me know he knew it was him.

“Oh, just some really cute guy I met many years ago.” I told him, playing along.

“Should I be jealous?” Allen pinned me against the lockers. My breathing became uneven, and my heart fluttered as his breath hit my face and sent tingles down my spine. I mustered up all my courage to play along some more.

“Yes, yes you should because this guy might just get luck-” I was cut off by Mr. Broadway.

“What in the knickers do you two think you are doing?! Get yawls behinds to class before I suspend y’all for … for whatever it looked like y’all was about to do.” Mr. Broadway said to Allen and I. Allen backed away.

“I want you to finish that sentence later...” Allen told me with a wink. "See you later, baby …” Allen said before walking away. When Allen was about to pass Mr. Broadway, but Allen turned to face Mr. Broadway, “Sorry, Sir.”

“Man, get to class.” Mr. Broadway said looking at Allen; I took this time to run off towards my class, avoiding a confrontation with Mr. Broadway.

I walked outside and sighed thinking about how I wished it was fall already. Summer was my least favorite season, and yet, that was the season it always seemed to be in this town. I sat on the hood of my car, watching teens pour out of the school, eagerly waiting to get out of school. Soon, my eyes caught Maddy and Troy. She was trailing along beside him with an angered expression. He seemed to be sporting one too. Her mouth was moving so I knew she was talking to him. He stopped and faced her; Maddy’s hands went flying in the air in anger. I jumped off my hood and ran over to them.

“You’re a dick head! I told you we were not a couple, yet! I asked you not to hold my hand on Tuesday and today, but you did! I demanded that you not call me honey, darling, babe, sweetie, but you do! And not to mention I begged you not to under any circumstances tell people we are dating! I barely know you! I would like to know you better before I label this!” Maddy shouted at Troy. He looked taken back. Her eyes shot to mine.

“Do you need a ride home?” I asked her, knowing that if she was stuck with Troy and in his car, she would kill him for sure. She sighed and shook her head.

“I need to be alone, is what I need.” With that she walked away. Troy exhaled loudly and ran his fingers through his hair.

“Savvy, what I’m I going to do? … I want to be with her … but she doesn’t want me.” Troy said in a low voice, but I heard him.

“She wants you Troy, but I don’t think you should force a relationship on her right now. Let her get to know you … To be honest I think right now she’s just in a little shock.” Troy looked at me with a questioning look.

“In shock about what?” He asked.

“I am going to let you think about that, big boy.” I stated and then went back over to my car. My mind kept wondering why Maddy didn’t want a ride from me, but I decided to give her some space and let her be alone like she wanted.

Once at my car, I got back on the hood and looked at the school. By now, most of the kids were gone and just a few lagged around.

“What are you doing out here?” I looked to my side and saw … “Kay!” I jumped off my car and gave her a hug. “Where have you been?! Monday you told me you were getting a car ride home. Tuesday you never showed up for school, then today I didn’t see you!” I exclaimed. She giggled.

“I was sick. Caught some cold that is going around.”

“I hope you didn’t catch that, Savvy.” Allen said from behind me. I immediately turned around with my hand over my heart.

“You need to stop scaring me!” I shouted in anger towards Allen. He smiled in satisfaction at startling me. I rolled my eyes and turned to see that Kay was gone. “Where did she go?” I asked. Allen came in front of my view and shrugged his shoulders.

“She ran off inside the school. Anyways, are you ready for our date?” Allen asked me. I sighed.

“For the millionth time can I please go home and change?” I begged. I was referring to how all day, yesterday I kept asking him what I should wear. He told me just to wear whatever, and then today he said I wasn’t allowed to go home after school. All I was allowed to do is wait by my car after school. So, I did.

“No, you don’t need to change. Come on, it’s about to start.” I furrowed my eyebrows, wondering what he meant. Soon we were in the school’s mini ice area, that the hockey team plays in.

“Okay, what’s going on?” I asked when I saw all of the Hockey players on the rink, along with all of the basketball players (which included Dylan and Troy). Plus, Maddy and Kay were all on the rink, but they had their backs to one another.

“You’ll see.” Allen said and then led me to the rink entry way. As we stood by the entrance to go on the icy … slippery … wet … rink, I shook my head.

“I’m not going out there! I could fall!” I half shouted to him. With a quick movement he threw me over his shoulders. I shrieked and shouted for him to put me down, but he didn’t. Everyone started to laugh, and I grew madder.

“Oh, yeah, you all laugh now, but when I get down I’m kickin’ yawls asses!” I shouted.

“Good luck, Sugar Cup.” One of the hockey team members howled at me. I jerked around trying to get Allen to let go of me so I could punch that guy for calling me Sugar Cup.

“That’s my girl you’re talking about, Payton.” Allen said. Soon we reached the center of the rink and Allen let me down carefully. I stared at the guys, wondering what we were doing here. All of a sudden, shirts were flying towards Maddy, Kay, and I. I grabbed it before it collided with my face.

“What the hell is this?” Maddy asked with a pissed off expression.

“We might have lost a bet with the hockey team.” Whispered Dylan.

“Might have? You guys completely lost. No maybes about it.” Shouted one of the guys from the hockey team.

“Shut it, number 0.” I said, calling him by the number that was on his jersey. He gave me a glare, but I stuck out my tongue.

“Why are we here and what is this?” Kay asked as she looked down at her shirt that they tossed at us.

“Its yawl’s cheerleader shirts.” Smiled Dylan. Kay raised an eyebrow at him, along with Maddy and I.

“Why do we need cheerleader shirts?” Maddy asked Troy. He gave her a soft smile.

“Because, y’all are going to cheer us on as we get recorded playing hockey.” Allen said. I started to laugh at the thought of them in ice skates and skating around the rink.

“Ha-ha, do y’all even know how to ice skate?!” Maddy asked in between laughs, she must be thinking the same thing I was when it came to seeing them skating around.

“No, they don’t know how, and that’s the point.” One of the hokey guys said. I smiled, thinking about how funny it would be to see them. My smile faded when I saw... Helena, Miley, Flora, Jess and … Isabelle. Wow, just seeing Isabelle made me think of how much I missed her. But since she was now friends of the Slut Club, there was no way we could hang out. When they approached us, I saw they were all glaring at us. Well at least all but one, Isabelle. She was trying to glare at Kay, Maddy, and I but it turned out to look like she was giving a bad stink eye. I tried to contain my giggles, she wasn’t one to glare.

STORY CONTINUES BELOW

“What the hell are you doing here?” Kay asked the Slut Club in a sour tone. They gave us an evil smile.

“They are our cheerleaders.” The number 4 hockey player guys said. “ … Now are we going to play some hockey, or what?”

“Bring it.” Allen said with confidence. I shook my head at how ridiculous they were going to look. Allen, Troy, and Dylan led us girls (excluding the Slut Club) off the rink and to the bleachers that surrounded the rink. “Cheer us on, as we kick their asses.” Allen whispered to me. I laughed.

“They will squash y’all. You are playing their sport. Didn’t you say they were recording y’all?” I asked, thinking of how the video will most likely go on YouTube, making a fool of them.

“Ha-ha, you just wait and see.” Allen told me for walking over to the bleacher that had a pair of skates on it. I couldn’t help but watch him put on the skates, he looked so-

“Hey!” Kay said from beside me. I turned to her and smiled.

“Hi!”

“Before Maddy comes over here, can I ask you something?” Kay said to me. I nodded.

“Why is she mad at me?” Kay questioned. I stood there, thinking for a second.

“I don’t know … I asked her on Saturday, but she never answered me.”

“You knew she was mad at me on Saturday?” Kay quizzed. I bit my lip not knowing how to answer that. Kay’s eyes were boring into me.

“Yeah, but you should talk to her after the game and see if she tells you.” Kay nodded. We walk to the top of the bleachers; I slip on my shirt that they tossed to me on the rink. As I looked on it, I saw it said “TEAM ALLEN <3” I rolled my eyes. Kay had a shirt that said, “TEAM DYLAN <3” Maddy came over to us, sporting a shirt that said “TEAM TROY :)” I smiled at Maddy’s T-shirt because I could tell that where the smiley face was, Maddy had taken a white sharpie (which I plan on stealing from her later) and covered up the heart that was originally on there.

"Where is your heart?” I naively asked her, she glared and stood next to me.

“Shut up.” Maddy muttered.

“I like what did." Kay said as she walked up to us.

"Well, now I hate it.” Mumbled Maddy as she started taking off her TEAM TROY shirt. I stopped her and shook my head, as I mouth ‘Don’t be like that’. Maddy glared at me and dropped her hands and kept on the shirt. Kay looked at me with pained expression, but all I was able to do is shrug my shoulders.

Soon the game began and all I can say is … OMG … the basketball team knows how to play Hockey. It shocked all of our girls as we watched our guys skate past the other team’s players with their pucks and it was like they were flying to the other end of the ring. When half time hit, Maddy, Kay, and I stood there dumb-founded.

“You might want to close your mouth, you might catch fly. “ Allen told me as he came over. I looked at him with shock.

“It’s the first half and you guys are winning.” I shrieked.

“You are fucking cheaters!” Shouted one of the hockey guys. He started walking over to us with an angered expression.

“Yo, why so mad?” Dylan asked coming to us. The rest of the hockey players came over as the basketball team all surrounded the hockey player that clearly wanted to start something.

“You fucking bitch!” One player said as he came over and started pushing Troy.

“You asshole.” Someone shouted.

“Guys! Guys! Stop!” I started to yell as everyone started shouting. The hockey team was saying that Dylan, Allen, Troy and the basketball team had somehow lied to the hockey team by saying they didn’t know how to play hockey. I felt my body tense up as I knew they were about to have an all-out fight.

“You need to calm your boys down, before I do.” Helena purred as she looked at me.

“Listen you bitch, you will never get Allen. If you haven’t heard, he is mine.”

“Once his mom shows you what she can do, you won’t be saying that.” Helena threatened. “Trust me.”

“You need to get a muzzle and shut up.” I told her. She grinned.

“Really, Savvy, that is all you have?” Flora asked as she came up behind Helena. “I expected more from Allen’s cheerleader.” I smirked.

“One, two, three, four, get you fucking boobs off the floor. Five, six, seven, eight, you need to stop the hate.” I sang to her. Flora’s eyes narrowed at me.

"How about this, one, two, three, four, we’re going to kick you out the door. Five, six, seven, eight, you just can’t appreciate.”

“What, fake boobs and faces?” Maddy asked Flora.

“You little bit-”

“What’s going on in here?!” Yelled Mr. Broadway. I glanced around and saw that all the boys had been fighting. Panic spread as Mr. Broadway walked more inside the arena. Like an alarm had sounded off, everyone began to run for the exit. I stood there for a second before a hand grabbed me and started dragging me out of the arena. It was Allen.

“Man that was close.” He said as we reached his truck.

“Close? He probably saw us all.” I spoke. Allen shook his head.

“He might have, but he has no proof that a fight happened there. Because there are no cameras in the arena. Plus, no one is going to go confess to the vice principle or principle because the hockey and basketball team will be suspended. No one wants that.” Allen admitted as he opened the passenger door for me. I gave him an unsure look as I got in his truck. Something was telling me that he was just saying that so I wouldn’t worry. I am known to be a worry-wart from time to time.

With silence, Allen started driving. I looked at him. I could tell that he was in deep thought.

“Allen, you remember your promise to me tonight, right?” I asked him, referring to the promise of telling me about his mom. He glanced at me for a second before looking back at the road.

“Yeah, but let’s wait until-” He stopped talking as I sneezed. “How many times have you sneezed today?” Allen asked me. I gave him a skeptical look.

“I don’t count how many times I sneeze!” I told him with a grin, as I reached in my purse and pulled out a tissue. I wiped my nose and then folding the tissue. I was taken back when Allen’s hand reached for my forehead. “What are you-” I didn’t say a word as I felt his cool hand fall on my face. “Omg you are so cold.”

STORY CONTINUES BELOW

“No, baby you are hot.” I blushed thinking he was talking about my physical hotness. “No I am serious, you are burning up. I think you might be running a fever.” I shook my head.

“No, no, no, I never get sick.” I said and like luck was not on my side today, I sneezed again. Allen then made a huge U turn and started driving in the opposite way he was going at first. “What are you doing?” I asked. Allen looked at me.

“I am taking you back to the hotel, which as you know I don’t approve of, and getting you in bed.” I smiled as my mind filled with dirty thoughts.

“Allen, we haven’t even had our first date, no need to rush to get me in bed.” I teased, he rolled his eyes.

“No, Savvy, I truly think you are getting sick.” Allen told me. It was my turn to roll my eyes.

“Allen- AHHHCHOO … AHHHCHOO AHHHCHOO AHHHCHOO.” I covered my nose. I knew I need a tissue and quickly. I reached in my purse once more to find one, but realized there was none in there. Allen glanced at me.

“What’s wrong, baby?” He asked me with worry.

“I am out of tissues and I need one.” I said as my hand lay firmly on my nose. He kept his eyes on the road, but he reached to the glove department of the car and got out some napkins.

“This is all I have right now, baby, sorry.” He said in a solemn voice. I knew by the sound of it, he would not leave my side until he thought I was no longer sick.

WHICH I WASN'T EVEN SICK TO BEGIN WITH!!!

Soon we were pulling up to the hotel and Allen helped me out. At first he begged to carry me in the hotel, bridal style. He went on and on about how I couldn’t walk. I ignored him and walked away. When we entered the room, Allen tossed me over his shoulder. I giggled as he kicked the door closed with his foot.

“What are you doing?” I asked as he carried me over his shoulder and into the bathroom.

“I am getting you a cool wash rag for your head, and then you, my baby pop,” another fit of giggles escaped my lips at him calling me ‘baby pop’. “Are going to go lay down.” He told me. I sighed as he turned on the sink water and ran a wash cloth through the water.

“Couldn’t you have sat me down on the bed before you did this?” I asked.

“And go a whole minute less of getting a great view of your ass, nope.” I blushed at his semi cute comment.

“Jerk.” I mumbled as he walked out of the bathroom ad into the bedroom. With gentleness he laid me on the bed, and just as he did I sneezed. I realized that I had no tissue so I sniffed so I didn’t have any snot coming out of my nose. Oh, how embarrassing that would be if Allen saw me with snot coming out of my nose.

“You shouldn't be sniffing that yucky stuff back in, you need to blow your nose … Do you have any tissues here?” He asked me as he placed the rag on my forehead. I shook my head.

“No, just go in the bathroom and get me some toilet paper.” Allen crinkled his nose, which I knew it meant he didn’t like that idea of me blowing my nose with toilet paper, but he went and got it anyways.

Moments later he returned with a roll of toilet paper, and gave it to me. I sat it down beside me and then reached for the T.V remote, hoping for a good movie to be on.

“Blow your nose, now.” Allen demanded from me. I looked at him with a ‘you-have-to-be-kidding-me’ kind of look. But his expression stern.

“No.” I told him. He ripped the T.V remote out of my hand and turned off the T.V. “Hey! What was that for?” I whined, knowing he hated when people whine.

“You need to blow my nose and I swear that I will not let you do anything fun until you do.” He stated, as if he was my parent. I am known to be stubborn and complain until I get my way, but with Allen, there was no chance in hell I would be able to get him to let it go and let me watch my show … unless ...

I leaned forward, towards him. I puckered my lips and was inches from kissing him, but he moved back, making me fall slightly forward.

“Oh, no. You are not going to convince me not to stop with the ‘you need to blow your nose’ thing by kissing me, baby. No matter what, your welfare is what I put first.”

“Is that why you dumped me when your mom threatened to hurt me?” I asked, changing the subject to the thing I wanted to know the most. Allen sighed and nodded, but said nothing. “Allen, you promised to tell me.” I stated. He looked at me.

“You are sick; I'll tell you later. Now blow your nose.” He said. I shook my head.

“No, you are going tell me, or I am not going to blow my nose, nor am I going to take any medication that I know soon you will be trying to shove down my throat.” I muttered, he sighed loudly and then sat down next to me on the bed.

“Savvy, if I tell you, promise me two things.” He pleaded, I nodded. “One, you will take the medicine I am going to go get for you and two, you will not think badly of my mom … or me.” He said. I thought about it for a minute before nodding.

“I would never think anything badly about you.” I said. He looked at me like he was unsure I would live up to those words.

“My mom met my dad when she was 14 and at first they there close friends … About when she was sixteen they became more then friends and started to date. My mom never told her parents that they were dating, because he was 20 at the time, and she knew her parents would be livid about it. She was afraid they would make her go to live with her grandparents. So, she never told them, and dated him behind their backs...

STORY CONTINUES BELOW

On her 18th birthday my dad threw her a birthday party, and she found out that night that my dad was not who he pretended to be. He was a drug lord. At first he thought she was going to tell people. So, he made an attack to kill her, but she told him she was pregnant, with me.

He ended up not killing her. Instead he kidnapped her. My dad made it to where she couldn’t ever leave the house …” Allen looked deep in thought; he was hiding something, but dared not to tell me. “Soon my mom gave birth to me, and then a year later she had my sister. When my sister was found to be sick, my dad thought of how the people would think of him as a weak link with a sick daughter and a wife who he didn’t trust to even leave the house…

So, my dad decided to do the one thing that came to his mind … He packed all of his things, and told my mom that he was leaving her. He was to move his whole drug cartel to another state, she and my ill sister weren’t to come with him-"

“But I thought you said he didn’t trust her.” I spoke. Allen gave me a look that clearly meant ‘don’t interrupt’ I closed my mouth and waited for him to resume talking.

“He didn’t trust her, so he said he was taking me with him. My mom begged him not to take me, but my dad said that he didn’t trust her. My dad also told her that if she dared to tell anyone about what he did, that he wouldn’t think twice about killing me, even if I was his son.

See my dad knew that my mom loved me; he knew that she wouldn’t dare open her mouth if my life was on the line. So, he left with me and did end up moving his drug cartel with him.

I know for a fact that he did leave two men to watch over my mom to make sure she didn’t go telling. But, he never expect my mom to do what she did…

My mom ended up … she started her own drug cartel. After three years, she was known around for being one of the best, along with my dad. He didn’t know it was her though, he only knew a code name she went by, which was Angel. But when he got wind that he had competition, he sent the men that he had to watch over my mom to see who this new dealer was.

Only thing was, the men were on my mom’s side and fed my dad lies, which my dad believed.

Somehow they lied to him enough to where my dad thought this new dealer was a very sexy lady that wanted to merge with his cartel. So, they set up a meeting at his house.

My mom went there, and he was so shocked. But he was even more shocked that she brought back up. My mom had many people that ... let’s just say, had special guns as their best friends. They killed him as she watched. Then my mom got me back. You might think she would have dropped being a drug lord, but instead she embraced the fact that she was now the most powerful one out there. She continued, even after my dad and sister died. When growing up, she made me learn the business of the trade … I did things Savvy …” I saw a tear escape his eyes.

“Did you have a choice in the matter?” I asked. He shook his head.

“If I dared defy her she would do things … beat me … curse me out … no … I did what she said.” Allen muttered. I sighed and leaned over, giving him a hug.

“Allen, I love you.” The words slipped out of my mouth, Allen froze for a second, before inhaling deeply.

“Savvy, I love you forever and always.” His words made me smile, before I let out another sneeze. He backed away. “I think I should go get you some medicine.” He stated.

“No, don’t leave!” I whined. He looked at me.

“I will be back, and even stay the night, but I have to get you up and healthy so we can have our date.” I smiled. “I will be back shortly, I promise.” With that Allen kissed my forehead and walked out of the room, but before he could leave he stopped at the doorway. “Lock this door behind me.” He said, and then walked out. I sighed and got off the bed and went to the door, as I was going to lock it, there was a knock on the door. I smiled, thinking it was Allen and he left something. I opened the door, to find two big, muscular men.

“Are you Savvy?” They asked me. I nodded.

“Yes, and who are you?” I asked. They crackled their knuckles.

“We were sent by your boyfriend’s mom, Angel, or as you know her, Mrs. Goudan.” They gave me an evil smile, before one swung his hand back, and then punched me square in the nose.

Allen’s P.O.V

I sat in the waiting room, thinking and praying to hear any news of how she was doing.

Flashes of finding, Savvy’s cold and almost lifeless body in the hotel room, made me shiver. My mom was going to pay for what she has done to Savvy; I swear I would kill my mom with my bare hands for what she did. I stood up and then thought about what would happen if I wasn’t able to stop my mom. What if she was planning on me coming after her? What if me walking into the house would be a trap?

Plus, even if I did kill her, I could see the others going after me for revenge. My mom’s death wouldn’t be in vain. I knew what I had to do.

I went to the nurse's station and asked for paper and a pen. One nurse handed the items to me, I sat down and wrote a letter:

Dear Savvy,

When you wake, you'll find that I'm not by your side…

You see Savvy, what happened to you was my fault. My mom told me what she would do. Damn it, I should have l listen. If I did you wouldn’t be in the hospital.

Savvy, I am sorry but I am not going to sugar coat this …

I don’t think we should be together anymore … it’s too dangerous.

Don’t call me, don’t talk to me, and don’t bother texting me …

We can’t and well never be together.

Allen

~~~
I tried to hold my tears as I placed the letter on her bedside and walked out of the hospital. Knowing exactly where I was going and what I was about to do.
