Maddy’s P.O.V

I walked into my house Monday with my head bowed down, hoping no one would see me.

“Maddy? What’s wrong?” Lisa, my sister, asked me as I walked passed her. I sighed and then realized that I should talk her about the whole Troy thing … I mean Sunday I didn't get the chance to talk to her, because we had to go to a dinner with Christopher's fiance, Holly's family, which included Troy. Who sat beside me and had a hand on my leg during the whole dinner. It was very uncomfortable knowing that his hand was on my leg when our families were all around us. No one noticed, but that didn't stop me from whispering to him to get his hand off me. Oh, he listened, but then put his arm on the back of my chair ... I sighed at the memory.

I really did what to tell Lisa, she is my sister, we tend to tell each other every thing. Yes, we fight like normal sisters, but then again she is the only family member I am the closest to.

I looked at her, and she seemed to be waiting for my reply. I opened my mouth, but was cut off.

“Yo, Maddy, how was school?” Jamie questioned as he came in the room and sat down beside Lisa, on the couch. I then had second thoughts about telling her right then. I wanted to tell her, but not Jamie. Oh hell, if he found out … well, let’s just say I really didn’t want to have to bury Troy’s lifeless body.

I had to think fast. “U-um, school was okay.” I said nervously. Lisa raised an eyebrow, I knew very well that she could see right through me and knew I was lying. Jamie, however, was so naive as he nodded at my answer and began watching some sports on the T.V.

“Maddy, you home? Want some chocolate cake I made?” My dad asked coming into the living room. I gave him a half smile with a shake of the head.

“No, thanks, I-I … umm, think I’ll just go do some homework.” With that I ran straight to my room. Knowing Lisa was going to hunt me down later and demand to know what’s going on. Not that I didn’t mind telling her … Just not fond of the idea that my brother- let alone my dad- finding out about Troy.

Oh gosh, I would be so dead if my dad knew. The thoughts of what he would do to Troy crossed my mind, and I gulped. He is never to know … ever.

I found myself laying on my bed staring at my blank computer screen, thinking about what happened when I woke up next to Troy, after we... well, you know ...

Before I even opened my eyes. I knew where I was and what I had done. A sense of fear hit me deep in my stomach, knowing that things were going to be different between Troy and I. Then a thought occurred: maybe he was still asleep and I could sneak out of here. As my eyes slowly peered open, I saw Troy sitting on the side of the bed with his back to me.

I slowly crept out of the bed, trying not to get him to know I was awake. Right as I thought that, Troy’s eyes flashed over his shoulder at me. I froze, as he studied me for a second, and under his gaze I gave an innocent smile.

“Maddy-” He began to say, but I cut him off.

“I’m going to get my things and leav-” I stopped talking as I stood up and tripped over my shoe that was by the bed. I fell face first. “Shit,” I cursed. I heard him get up and come over to me.

“Maddy? Are you okay?” He asked with concern. I moaned in pain, why was my body so sore? I thought as I rolled over on the floor. “Are you okay?” He asked me again. I looked up at him from the floor. I watched as his eyes raked over me. I looked down. “Fuck!” I reached over and grabbed a sheet off his bed, and covered my naked body. I can’t believe he just saw me … naked. I started to blush as he looked at me with a smile.

“You know, I’ve already seen you without clothes.” He told me. I felt my entire face fill with heat.

“Thanks for pointing out the obvious.” I said, wrapping the sheet more securely around my body as I got up from the floor and searched the room for my clothes.

“You’re mighty welcome, babe.” Troy said in a cocky voice, sending me a wink and a smile with smoldering eyes that made my cheeks burn redder.

“Don’t call me babe, ever again.” I stated. Troy let out a sigh, and then gave me a look. “What?” I asked him, not liking the way he was looking at me.

“Ummm … Do you want to stay for lunch?” Troy randomly asked me.

Kye: O.O ...tempting

I shook my head at Troy’s suggestion to stay for lunch.

“I don’t think that would be a good idea.” I stated as I grabbed my things from around the room. Troy walked over to me, which made me stop what I was doing and look at him.

“Please, I want to talk to you.” Troy said. I’ve seen this in movies, the guy wants to talk to you after you’ve had sex with them. They tell you that it was a mistake, they regret it, and they expect nothing to come out of this night. Well, I wasn’t going to give him the chance to tell me that, because … I didn’t want to hear that the first guy I gave my virginity to doesn’t care … I’m just a girl he hooked up at a party …

“There is no need for us to have a talk … I know what you will say and it’s fine I don’t expect last night to mean anything to you. Just give me a few minutes and I will be out of your hair.” I told him as I searched around the room for my shirt.

“Maddy, stop, please! You have no idea what I’m going to say!” He shouted. I stood there frozen, he looked pissed. Which made me raise an eyebrow … why was he so mad? Isn’t that what he wanted? “Have breakfast with me.” He said in a calmer voice. I stood there, not sure how to answer that without him getting mad.

“My dad is expecting me home in an hour.”

“You don’t even know what time it is.” He chuckled.

“Well, whatever time it is, my dad expects me home in an hour.”

“I guess it’s a good thing that you only live across the street from my house, and I already have breakfast ready.” He stated. I sighed, realizing that I have no reason not to stay, besides the voice in the back of my head that was so afraid of hearing the things he wanted to talk to me about. I knew it would lead to me being upset. I was so lost in the fear over staying for breakfast and getting my heart broken, that I hadn’t noticed that Troy came and stood in front of me, until he wiped a tear away from my cheek.

“Why are you crying?” He asked me in a sincere voice.

“I-I … I just have a feeling of what you will say … I don’t want to hear it.” I said. He furrowed his eyebrows.

“You are crying, over the fact that you know I want to date you?” He asked.

Breathe, Maddy. Breathe …

I can’t! That was so unexpected!

“D-d-date me?” I said with confusion. He nodded. I shook my head. “What?! Are you crazy?! I hate you! You are the irking piece of gum at the bottom of my shoe that won’t go anyway and when I walk it makes an annoying sound!” I spat at him.

“If you hate me so much, why did you have sex with me?” He asked.

“Because! Because! I-I …”

Damn, why did I do it? … I thought as I stared into his eyes.

“For the fact that you can’t answer that, stay and have lunch with me, please.” He asked. I sighed.

“I can’t believe I am saying this … fine I will stay, under one condition, no touching me.” I told him in honesty. He smirked which made me know what he was going to say next.

“I got all my touchy feel-y done last night.” He told me. I rolled my eyes.

Oh, someone, help me!
