Kay and Hope's P.O.V ... The Plan Of Love And To Want Love

Kay's P.O.V

I watched as Vinny and Savvy walked out of the Janitor's closet together. I noticed Vinny had a dazzling smile on his face as he looked at Savvy. I was glad I told him where he could find Savvy.

Allen, on the other hand, was pissed when I told Vinny where Savvy was. Although Allen tried to act like he didn't care because Helena was beside him. It irked me that he moved on from Savvy so fast, to Miss Slut. But, whatever. It was his mistake, and soon I think he would notice that when Vinny started to date Savvy ... Which would happen once I was done.

But, you lost your chance buddy, now it's Vinny's turn.

When Dylan picked me up the other day, he told me that Allen was going to try and date Savvy. Dylan also told me that he didn't think it would last between them two because Allen's mom didn't like the idea of Allen and Savvy dating. He told me that Allen would give in to his mom and dump Savvy. Then I saw Vinny and my evil mind started thinking.

"What was up with you at lunch? ... Were you PMSing?" Dylan asked coming up from behind me.

"No, I was very serious, when I called you an egotistical bastard ... No PMSing, just the ugly truth." I stated with a fake grin.

I didn't know what clicked inside of me. Maybe, it was that fact that I realized Savvy was right. The only reason I'd been a lovesick puppy towards Dylan, was because of Christopher.

I wanted to push all my feelings toward someone else, in hopes of moving on from Christopher. Dylan seemed to be the best guy for it (at the time). He rejected me though, and that made me want to get him to like me even more ... Soon, I started to question my feelings and wondered if I had fallen for Dylan when I was just trying to get over Christopher. If in the time I wanted to push my feelings from Christopher to Dylan, was if I actually did fall in love with Dylan ... Maybe ... Wait ... No!

"What's wrong?" Dylan asked, I could hear concern in his voice.

"Nothing is wrong with me. I just realized I never truly liked you." I stated. His expression became full of shock. "Don't worry it's nothing personal. I just made myself believe I loved you, because the guy I actually liked ... Well, we ended badly." I stated, trying not to give too much away. Dylan became confused.

"What's his name?" Dylan questioned. I smile and shook my head.

"No one you know." I said, and then turned to walk away, but Dylan grabbed my arm, stopping me from going any father.

"Kay ... are you serious ... You are over me?" His voice was shaky. I sighed and looked into his emerald green eyes.

"There is nothing to get over, I was never truly in love or even liked you." I honestly stated. He sighed and nodded as he released my arm. I walked to my next class and sat down next to Hope.

"Hey." She said to me.

"Hello. How is your day going?" I asked. She grinned.

"Well, beside Tom and I getting together, and him inviting me on a date tomorrow ... nothing really." I looked at her in shock.

"What?! You and Tom have a date set!?" I was so happy for her.

"Yea, he asked me after lunch." Hope stated, and I nodded.

"Well, congrats!" Then the teacher started going on and on about some war. I paid no attention and just stared out of the window I sat by. I saw Dylan outside on a nearby bench.

Why was he not in class?

More importantly, why was he outside?

I noted that he looked very deep in thought. Then, I watched Jess slowly make her way to him. He didn't notice her walk over to him. But when she tapped on his shoulder he looked up. His expression was of shock but soon he nodded and then looked away from her. She started talking to him, but he wasn't pay attention. I saw her grab his face, and try to kiss him, but he her pushed away.

"Jess, get it through your thick head that I'm pissed off that you cheated on me!" Dylan shouted so loudly that I heard him. Everyone in the class turned and looked out the window at them.

"But! Dylan, I'm sorry! I want another chance! I really think we can make this work." She yelled at him, tears coming down her face.

"I can't give you another chance! I'm in love with someone else!" He fired back. She looked shocked and stepped back.

"What's going on out here?!" Shouted Mr. Broadway, the vice principle. Dylan said nothing, and started to walk away, but then he looked up at the window and locked eyes with me. I wanted to look away, but something inside of me just couldn't look away.

Who was Dylan in love with?

And why did I feel jealous? I'm not supposed to feel jealous because I'm not supposed to like him. He was supposed to be my rebound guy, so to say.

Yet, I knew for a fact that the years I chased after him and tried to forget Christopher, I ended up falling in love with Dylan...

Hope's P.O.V

This week couldn't have gone any slower before Friday came. I was so happy. My date with Tom was tonight. I hoped he wouldn't bail on me, I pushed off going to mom's until tomorrow morning. When she asked why I was cancelling to come Friday ... I lied. I couldn't face the music and tell her that I was going on a date. She would totally flip. So, I lied, and I planned on not telling her until I knew that Tom was for real and that he was not going to be like other guys ... and leave me heartbroken. I wanted to avoid a situation like Savvy and Allen's.

Man, I couldn't believe what Allen did to her...

STORY CONTINUES BELOW

And what was up with Kay? she seemed different this week. More distant from Dylan, not that I was glad she was. I couldn't tell you how long I thought that she needed to move on. I think now she was ... I was so happy for her!

Friday

"So, I was thinking I'd pick you up at your house tonight at seven." Tom said to me as I made my way to Savvy's car. I nodded and smiled. I couldn't believe I was going on an actual date!

Never in my life, has any guy shown a slight interest in me ... Then comes along Tom ... I just hope he's like I think he is: kind, gentle, and overall amazing!

"Yes, that's perfect!" I said once we reached Savvy's car. I saw everyone, but Savvy was in the car. She was staring at us with a glare.

"Buddy boy, don't you dare kiss her, if you know what's good for you." Savvy said in a stern voice. Tom looked at her and sighed.

"I guess I can't leave you with something to remember me by for the next few hours." Tom muttered. I rolled my eyes at Savvy for threatening my ... Boyfriend?!

"Sorry, I have a guard dog."

"Give her a treat and leave her at home tonight." Tom said, I smiled and nodded.

"I heard that." Savvy shouted.

"I love your giggle." Tom whispered. I blushed. "And when you blush." I couldn't help but blush more. He grinned at me. "You know what, I don't care what Savvy says, or does, because I can't hold myself any longer." Tom leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on my lips. I leaned in for more, but he stepped away. "Hope Petri, you are going to be the death of me." He joked. "See you later." Tome walked away.

"Good, now that you are done kissing ape man, get in the car." Savvy said, I once again rolled my eyes and got in the car.

"Where are we going?" I asked when I noticed we were not heading towards my house, or Kay's.

"Well, from what we heard, you have a hot date with Tommy." Savvy said.

"Tom." I corrected her.

"I know his name." She said with a straight face. "And it's Tom."

"In your world." Kay muttered.

"Yeah, and also in my world you are mute." Replied Savvy. "All of you are mute and my minions."

"Savvy, sometimes I worry about you." Maddy stated.

"Me too." I added.

"Me three." Kay mumbled as she was surfing the web on her iPhone.

"So, where are we going?" i asked again.

"My house. Lisa has a wide variety of makeup, and accessories. Plus, Savvy and I skipped last period and went clothes-shopping for you. So you have three new outfits, one of which you shall wear tonight." Maddy said. "You are going to love them!" I sighed; I was not huge on the dressing up thing. Knowing Maddy and Savvy, they bought nice clothes, and even dresses. Which I hated wearing. I think the last time I wore a dress and even makeup, was two years ago. When I was a bridesmaid at my cousin, Persia's wedding. Even then I hated the way the dress fit me and the makeup felt like I had a mask on.

Knowing Savvy, Kay, and Maddy though, I will have to wear one of the things they got me plus makeup.

Yippee?!

Upon entering Maddy’s house I noted that it was silent, which is not normal for her house. Usually there were family members everywhere doing all sorts of things, but from the moment I walked, I noticed none of her family was there, but Lisa.

"Hey." Savvy said to Lisa, she looked up from her magazine.

"Oh, good, y'all are here! I've set up everything in my room." With that we walked into Lisa large room. I saw, lying on a bed, was two dresses and a nice maroon shirt with dark jeans. I immediately knew I would try and convince them to let me wear the shirt and the jeans. I couldn't stand the thought of wearing a dress. Especially knowing Savvy. She probably bought me a dress that showed all the junk in my truck ... if you know what I mean.

"Alright girls, let's get started." Lisa said with an evil smile, much like the one I'd seen on Savvy before. Then I glanced at all the girls ... Their looks mirrored Lisa's. And they were all focused on me.

Shit, I'm in for it.

<><><><><><><><><><>

Two and a half hours later, I was in a dress and had a layer of makeup on my face, or so it felt like that.

"You look pretty!" Lisa squealed. I rolled my eyes, I knew I couldn't deny or agree with her for the fact that I hadn't looked in the mirror. They--mainly Maddy and Savvy--said I couldn't look at my reflection. Kay and Lisa said to let me look, but after Savvy gave them the talk about going Donkey Kong on them, they banned me from looking.

Which, I was not happy with.

"This dress seems too tight." I stated, looking down at the the black lace dress.

I did have to admit it was a really pretty dress. It reached my knees and it actually didn't expose my boobs like other dresses seemed to do. But, what do I know? I haven't looked in the mirror.

"It's not tight, it just feels that way because you haven't worn a dress since the dawn of the dinosaurs." Savvy joked. I looked at her with a glare.

"Oh, forget you." I said, Savvy just smiled at me.

STORY CONTINUES BELOW

"Okay, Hope, I've called Tom and told him to pick you up here." Maddy said, I nodded.

"Thank you." I told her, she nodded and sat down on Lisa's bed where Kay was ... surfing the web on her iPhone again. So like Kay. The second she got bored, she got on her iPhone. "Can I look in the mirror?" I asked them.

"Wait! No!" Lisa shouted from her closet. She emerged with to pair of black heels."I know we wear the same size ... So here." She handed me the black stilettos. I shook my head.

"No, I can't wear heels." I stated, thinking of how I would fall over with every step I took and make myself look like a fool on our first date.

"Well, either you put on the damn heels, or I put them on for you. That's with or without your permission." Savvy said. I saw an evil grin on her face.

Why did my friends have to be so evil? ... Or more like why did Savvy have to be so evil?

"He's here!" Maddy said. I looked at the heels and then at Savvy. She was still looking at me like if I dared put on my converses, she would tackle me, and force the heels on my unwilling feet. I sighed and grabbed the heels.

When I walked to the living room, I saw Tom standing in the front door with a smile. I looked at his outfit. He wore a light pink button-up shirt and his hair was messy ... but I found it sexy.

"Oh, wittle baby like pink." Savvy said to Tom in a baby voice. He looked at her and glared.

"Oh, little Savvy wanna be immature." Tom replied. Savvy stared daggers at him and walked away with a huff. "You ready?" Tom asked. I nodded and took his hand. We started to walk towards his car when I heard shouts from behind us.

"Make sure she's back here by eleven!" Maddy yelled.

"Use protection!" Kay shouted.

"No! You don't try anything at all! If you do, I will kill you Tom! I mean it!" Savvy cried out to us. I shook my head and blushed. Sometimes my friends could be so embarrassing. Tom just laughed and opened the passenger door for me. I thanked him and got in.

"You look beautiful." Tom told me as he started driving down roads I'd never been on before.

I blushed at his comment.

"Thank you." I muttered ... "Hey, Where are we going?" I asked as my mind shifted from his nice complement to where he could be taking me to. I had no idea where we were, so in return I had no idea where in the world he was taking me.

"Well, I'm not going to tell you."

"That's so cliché." I said, thinking about how the guy never seemed to tell the girl where he was taking her. Tom chuckled at me and shook his head.

"You're right ... But I'm still not going to tell you." He stated.

"Meanie." I said, smiling from ear to ear.

"Well, I won't be a meanie for long, because we're almost there." He said, and then stopped the car.

STORY CONTINUES BELOW

"We're in the middle of nowhere." I stated when I glanced out the window. All I saw was trees and a trail ahead. "And it's getting dark." I admitted.

"Are you scared?" Tom asked me with a smirk. I shook my head and then got out of the car. "Hey! I wanted to be a gentleman and open it for you!" Tom told me. I looked at him.

"Sorry, do you want me to get back in the car so you can re-open my door?" I asked. He nodded. "Not going to happen. Can we please go to what ever hell trap you have set up for me?" I asked as curiosity filled me.

What did he have planned at the end of the trail?

Walking in heels, outside, in the dark ... Not one of the brightest ideas.

When the trail ended, I was faced with the most gorgeous sight I'd ever seen. My mouth dropped open.

"Where did you find this place?" I asked as my eyes scanned at the sight before me.

We were on a cliff and it overlooked the whole city. With it being nighttime, the whole city was lit up. My head looked up and I saw the stars ... Omg, you could actually see thousands of stars. In the city the night lights blinded us to the many stars, but on the cliff you could actually see many, many more.

"I was making dinner plans at this restrant, when Troy came in and told me that I should take you here. He told me that it was so pretty. When we I came up here this afternoon, I knew it would be perfect." Tom said. I smiled at him, knowing it was perfect.

Minutes later I found out that Tom had came up here earlier and set up a picnic. It was so perfect, with the city in the background and the food ... omg it was so good!

"Where did you get this chicken from?" I asked taking another wonderful bite of the crispy chicken. Tom grinned.

"I made it." He admitted, my eyes went wide in shock.

"You are now my favorite person! Ever!" I told him. Then ate another bite. A moan escaped my lips as the chicken literally melted in my mouth.

"Wow, you must really love that." He said with a laugh. I blushed at the fact that he clearly heard my moan.

"Yes, you can always win my heart with food." I told him, Tom nodded.

"Good to know."

Our date went with out a hitch. Tom was actually letting me ask him questions tonight.

I found that he loved the color red, he was addicted to anime. Tom loved cats and hated dogs, that made me giggle. He didn't like people calling him Tommy, which if I can recall correctly, Savvy called him Tommy.

He even opened up to me completely, telling me that his mom wasn't one of the nicest women known to mankind. He even told me that his dad took off when he was young, and remarried with some other woman.

Something inside of made me think he was hiding something about his dad ... but maybe the feeling was nothing more than a feeling ...

"Do you have any brothers or sisters?" I randomly asked him. His eyes darted away from me, and focused on the city lights. He remained silent. "Tom?"

"It's almost eleven. I should be getting you home." Tom muttered.

"Oh ... okay." I said, a little shocked that he changed the subject. Maybe he had a sibling that died ... I knew I should press him for answers ... yet...

On the way home, the car was full of uncomfortable silence. I felt like I'd done something wrong. It was eating me up as the seconds went by and not one of us spoke.

Did I make him mad?

Was he going to dump me?

Oh, no ...

Tears started coming down my face as he pulled into Maddy's driveway. I don't even think he looked at me as he got out the car and made his way to my door. I didn't let him open it, I just opened it and got out.

"I'm sorry." I whispered and walked away from him.

"Hope! Wait!" Tom called out to me. I stopped and faced him. I knew that my makeup was running down my face along with the big crocodile tears that were falling down my face.

"P-please ... D-d-don't dump me like this." I spoke in a low voice. He looked at me dumbfounded.

"Hope, what makes you think I'll break up with you?" He asked.

"Aren't you mad at me?" I questioned, he shook his head and then walked toward me until his hands reached my cheeks. I felt his thumbs wipe away my tears.

"No, I'm not mad at you. It's just when it comes to siblings ... Well ... I don't know how to tell you this, but you see ... My dad, Henry, left my mom ... because my dad's mother begged and blackmailed my dad to marry a girl named Sandra. My dad ended up leaving my mom and I. He married Sandra ... Hope ... Savvy is ..."
