BETTY 🍑

I couldn't stop crying when I got home and saw my baby's stuffs.

I missed him already. Wherever he is and who ever took him... I hoped and prayed he was fine.

Harry has been a great help. I would never have imagined he could care so much about me.

We got home in the night to see granny and Harry's mom already waiting at the living room.

"You need to rest , Betty. You've been crying ever since." Granny said softly.

I shook my head. "I'm not gonna sleep a wink if my baby is not here! ", I cried out.

Harry moved closer to me and put a arm around me. "He's gonna be found,Betty. The police are doing their job." Harry petted.

I looked into his face and allowed the tears rushed down. I regretted ever having to be at logger heads with him.

If I had closed the door that night,Bink wouldn't have crawled out of the room.

If I had carried my baby when I heard him cry,this wouldn't have happened.

If I had not waited for Harry to carry him instead,this wouldn't have happened.

"I'm sorry... for everything....for being a bad wife. When our baby is found....we are gonna build a new home." I said, looking into his face.

Harry bent in front of me and I hugged him to myself.

Granny and Harry's mom watched us, smiling.

Despite the pain I was feeling....I smiled back. I had this assurance my baby is fine wherever he is and he's gonna come back.

It was late in the evening and I decided to take a walk in the park.

I looked around me and saw mothers.... playing and caring so much about their little kids.

I stopped to looks them. Have I been a good mother Bink?

No! I wept in my heart.

Poor baby. I wish I could be given a chance again to be his mother.

Tears dropped off my eyes as I sat on a bench, watching mothers and kids.

Mom came into my mind.

She must have probably heard what happened. Then, I guess it was time I forgive her for abandoning me for years.

I've not been a good mother myself.

I dipped my hand in my pants pocket a e pulled out my cell phone.

I dialled her line before placing it on my ear. She picked up Immediately.

I smiled. ☎️Yeah...mom. It's me."

★★★TWO DAYS ON★★★

🍑 SCOTT 🍑

"Cheer up man!" I said, coming into the gym office. "You've got new and hot babes waiting for registration!"

I snapped an angry look at him. " Scott...this isn't funny! what the hell is wrong with your brain! I've not seen my son for the past two days and all you can fucking tell me is this?" Harry roared.

I laughed and moved back in case a blow might be coming my way. "Chil man. Your baby Bink is gonna come back. I promise." He said with a smile.

Harry breathed in angrily. "The damn stupid Police are yet to proffer a reasonable solution! I'm going crazy." Harry said and his eyes watered immediately.

I sat silently in front of him. "How is Betty? Are you two finally getting along?" I asked.

" Yeah. Finally getting along without our baby." Harry said angrily.

" Wow! You getting along with Betty at last is a thing to celebrate,you know." I said winking.

Harry looked at me and frowned. "I think you are sick in the brain this morning,Scott. Get the hell outta my office."

" But..."

" NOW!!!" He roared and scattered hid table at the process.

I stood up and held both of my hands up. I got to the door and turn to look at him with a smile before going back.

"I've got a gift for you guys..... it's gonna put an end to your sorrow. Do you want want the gift?" I asked with a playful wink.

Harry picked up a pen from his desk and threw it towards me.

I ducked and left the office with laughter.

Once outside the building, I called Bells.

☎️Bells, I think it's time we return the Bink to them. I don't want that dick head committing suicide. " I said and heard Bells laugh.

We decided she would bring Bink to my house and then we are gonna invite the couple.

I can't wait to see the looks on their faces......

★★★THE NEXT DAY★★★

🍑 BETTY 🍑

"Like seriously, I don't know what I'm here to do! I wanna go home! " I groaned as Bells pulled me inside the strange house.

She had said it was Scott's house... Well, I've never been to Scott's house. Why now?

"Just take a seat." Bells said firmly.

I looked up and saw Scott and Harry coming in. I stood up. "What are we doing here?

I wanna go home. Harry... Please take me home. I don't know why Bells brought me here " I said with tears dripping down my face.

Harry walked to me and hugged me quietly. "Relax, Betty. I Know you are thinking about our baby... But I promised you he's gonna be found, right? Believe in me. " Harry said and I nodded.

" Well, I've got a gift for the new found couple!" Scott said happily.

Scott and I looked up, wondering what he was talking about.

"Granny.... You guys can come out now!" Bells said and just then, I heard a little giggle.

I gasped... That little giggle belongs to no one else but my baby!

I slowly turned just in time to see granny coming out of the adjacent room, carrying my little baby.

My heart stopped beating.

I almost died of shock. My baby!!

I couldn't believe it..... I thought I was dreaming... But when my baby saw me and jumped with excitement, I had to believe it!

I fell into Harry's arms and bursted out crying....the excitement of seeing that little cute face was so much overwhelming!
