Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 17

I screamed out and ran. I ran non stop and grabbed my baby.

I hugged him so tight to myself, not wanting to let go as if afraid he was gonna crawl away again.

I wet his soft hair with my tears. Minutes after crying happily, I glanced at Harry who walked up to me and hugged us both.

Then I looked at Bells for explanation.

“What happened?, Where did you get him? The police?” I asked.

Bells smiled and looked at Granny. ” Um… Actually, Betty. Bink never went missing. He’s been with me all these while ”

Harry and I gasped. My head spined and swirled.

I looked at Granny then at Mrs Wynne. They were all smiling.

“No… Wait. You mean you were the on his way

who came into the room and him away? ” I asked.

” Well…. For the past ten months, we’ve been scheming out a plan to take Bink so we can teach you guys some lessons and that opportunity came when I came to the house and saw Bink right in front of the veranda…. Crying so much!

I picked him up and left. We wanted you guys to get along when you found out your baby was missing and look… It worked! ” Bells said.

I blinked and stared at them.” Granny? My God! Don’t you guys have any other strategy other than wanting to kill me? That was too much! I almost died! ” I cried.

” Scott….you too?” I heard Harry asked with shock.

“Yeah. You guys were just too stubborn. But thank God… it worked.” Scott said and laughed.

I laughed out too… so loud and long.

I startled my baby at the process and he began crying.

I laughed and got ready to breastfeed him. Good Lord…it felt as though a big heavy load had been lifted off my back!!

That night… we had a little welcome party for my little Bink.

BELLS

“It worked… Scott,I’m so happy.” I said as I brought back the champagne into the room.

After the little party in Harry’s house, I decided to spend the night at Scott’s house.

“Yeah. All thanks to you, Bells. You are a smart beauty.” Scott said and I blushed.

I poured the champagne into two tall glass cup and passed one to him.

I sat beside him on the sofa and looked at him as I sipped my wine.

I almost choked when I saw the way he stared at me. “What!!”

He moved closer and held my hands. “I’ve fallen helplessly in love with you,Bella and I want more than being your boyfriend.” He said, startling me.

No! This isn’t what I wanted….I can’t get into a serious relationship with any guy at the moment..not now!

I moved back. “Scott…let’s not rush things. We are good the way we are.” I said softly.

” Don’t you love me?” He asked softly.

I stopped to consider the question. Am I really ready to love? Or am I already in love?

I can’t afford to make the mistake Betty made. I don’t wanna fall in love and marry a man who’s not gonna love me at first sight.

I can’t. I thought.

“I’m sorry, Scott.. I can’t do this! I can’t be your girl lover. I can’t…not now. I think we should keep the relationship simple for now.” I said.

Scott shook his head and stood up.” I want more than that! I want you to be my wife in the making.” He said, glaring down at me.

I stood up too.” No….I’m sorry.” I said,took up my bag and left.

I almost cried when he didn’t even call me back or try stopping me.

Is it over between us? I cried all the way home.

★★THREE MONTHS LATER★★

Three months of peaceful and happy marriage!!

I couldn’t ask for more. Harry had been the best husband ever.

We go to the gym together and have some exercise.

I help him out at the gym with new clients . Bink had been with granny a month ago since he turned a year old.

The party had been so elaborate and felt on top of the world.. watching my son grow up, looking exactly like his father.

“When are we going to bring back my son? I’m missing him already.” Harry groaned as I help him tie his shoe laces.

I looked into his face and laughed.” But we visited them yesterday. I advise we let granny bring him home herself. I don’t want any trouble.” I said and laughed again.

Harry groaned again and shrugged. After I was done with the shoe laces,I stood up and waited for his ever ready kiss.

We kissed for a long time before I finally broke it with laughter. “You are gonna be late! Come on.. off you go!” I said and Harry groaned again.

He took up his backpack and kissed me once again before opening the door. “I will back home on time. I don’t want you being lonely in here…” He said and I nodded.

I watched him through the window as he got into his car and zoomed off at top speed.

I smiled and closed the window before walking back upstairs to have a bath.

Ten minutes later after Harry left for the gym,I received a call.

It rang several times before I was able to come pick it up in the living room.

It was Harry!

I laughed. Missing me already?

Happily,I picked up the call. “Missing me already….?”

“Am I speaking with the wife to the owner of this phone?”

I stopped. This isn’t Harry talking and what sort of question was that?

It was a strange voice… what is Harry’s phone doing with him? I asked myself.

“Yes,this is Mrs Betty Castle Wynne. What is my husband’s phone doing with you?’ I asked slowly.

“Well I’m sorry Mrs Wynne for what I’m about to say.

Your husband was involved in a ghastly motor accident few minutes ago at Paisley road few minutes ago.

The car went up in flames and got burnt….I’m sorry but your husband was burnt beyond recognition….you have to be here Immediately…. he’s been taken to the hospital…”

No…no…no!!

I screamed out loud before the phone slipped from my hand and dropped to the floor.

Oh no!! Harry???
