One night, while Nathan was yet to return home, Daniella became worried and constantly tried calling his number but unfortunately, his line wasn’t connecting.

And as such, she stayed up calling all his friends to check if any has any information about her husband’s whereabouts.

When she scrolled down to Caleb’s number, she paused for a moment reminiscing on what transpired between them the last time they met.

The thought of it made her have a second thoughts. But being left with no choice, she had to reluctantly dial his number.

“Hi, Caleb” Daniella greeted as soon as he picked up her call.

“Hi, Daniella” Caleb responded.

“Uhm…I apologize for calling at this time. I just called to know if you’ve by any chance seen my husband” Daniella said.

“Why? Isn’t he home?” Caleb asked.

“I hate to say this but, he isn’t home yet,” Daniella said.

“Oh, my, and didn’t he say where he was going?” Caleb asked.

“No he didn’t” Daniella responded fighting back tears.

“Okay, in that case, how about I come around? You know, so we can both go out to look for him in all his favourite spots?”

“Uhmmm…..”

“Hey, it’s okay if you don’t feel comfortable with the idea. I don’t mean any harm. Just trying to help” Caleb said.

“You know, the thing is, my husband is overly sensitive these days. So seeing you with me will only get him infuriated” Daniella said.

“That won’t be a problem. Because he won’t get to see you with me” Caleb said.

“How possible is that?” Daniella asked.

“I promise I will just drop you off and go my way. Please, Daniella, permit me to do this at least to make up for my last mistake” Caleb said.

“Uhmmm….” Daniella said rubbing her forehead.

“I guess that’s a yes. See you soon” Caleb said ending the call before Daniella could say a Word.

A few moments later, Caleb arrived and with reluctance in her heart, Daniella followed him to go in search of her husband whose number wasn’t connecting.

Searching endlessly in different spots, Daniella finally found her husband at a bar where he was busy drinking and having fun with some set of girls

The sight of her husband laughing and having the best moment of his life in the arms of other women, brought nothing but tears to her eyes.

“What now? Are you going to confront him or should I take you back home?” Caleb asked as she kept staring at Nathan through the car window.

“I think I will be needing a drink tonight” Daniella responded.
