The next day, while Daniella was going through her phone in the living room, Nathan barged in with resentment in his eyes.

“Daniella! Daniella!!!” He yelled walking up to her

“Nathan, what’s going on?” Daniella asked sitting upright with confusion on her face.

“What did you tell the priest about me?” Nathan asked.

“I don’t understand. Did he say anything wrong to you?” Daniella asked.

“Really? Daniella, has it gotten to the point where you now go about telling people about my ailment?” Nathan fumed.

“Nathan, I only told the priest about the challenges and trials we have been facing in our marriage. After which, he decided to speak to you. So, why are you overreacting like I did something wrong?” Daniella asked.

“I don’t care about what you choose to do with your free time. But please, let this be the first and last time I get to hear that you went out gossiping about me. Because the next time it happens, believe me, you won’t like what I might do” Nathan raged pointing angrily at her.

And with anger, he barged out of the living room.

“What did I do wrong?” Daniella wondered.

As time went on, Nathan stopped coming home early like he used to. He started frequenting drinking bars and hanging out with different girls. Leaving Daniella to wallow in loneliness.

One night, while Nathan was yet to return home, Daniella became worried and constantly tried calling his number but unfortunately, his line wasn’t connecting.
