Forbidden Desire - S01 E27

Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 27

Walking into the living room, Daniella found Nathan walking down the staircase with a bottle of alcoholic wine in his left hand while drinking from the cup he was holding in his right hand.

“Babe? Are you okay?” She asked walking up to him with sadness in her eyes.

But surprisingly, the moment she walked up to Nathan, he pushed her aside and glared at her.

“Babe, why did you just push me? And why are you suddenly being hostile to me?” Daniella asked looking confused.

But Nathan didn’t say a word to her. He simply hissed and walked to the couch where he sat placing the bottle of alcoholic wine on the table.

Then walking back to where he was seated, Daniella said in a calm tone,

“Babe, I know this whole thing has taken a toll on you. I know it’s not really easy bearing this loss. Especially when we both thought that this was our answer from God. I totally understand what you are going through right now and how you feel about all of these because……..”

Daniella was yet speaking when Nathan angrily stood up and began yelling while pointing angrily at her.

“You don’t understand a single bit of how I feel. So you don’t have to act as if you do!” He fumed.

Hearing this, Daniella who was taken aback by his sudden outburst, stood there with confusion and curiosity written all over her face.

“Wait a minute. I don’t get it. Why are you making this all about you? Am I not a victim as well? Nathan we both lost our baby. A baby we both sacrificed so much to get. So I don’t see any reason why you should be pouring out your frustration and anger on me when I’m equally mourning” Daniella said.

“Oh, please spare me the pretence. Why would you mourn a child you purposely got rid of?” Nathan asked.

This question came as a shock to Daniella who shot him a quick look filled with shock and disbelief.

“What did you just say?” She asked with shock.

“You heard me loud and clear Daniella. You purposely got rid of that pregnancy” Nathan maintained.

“Nathan with all due respect, watch your tongue! What exactly is wrong with you? I understand that this whole thing is getting to you but how can you say I purposely got rid of my pregnancy? Why would I even do such a thing when I eagerly want a baby of my own?” Daniella questioned with tears gathering in her eyes.

“Oh cut that crap Daniella! You think I don’t know your plan?” Nathan questioned.

“And, what plan are you talking about?” Daniella asked folding her arms.

“You think I’m not aware of the fact that you purposely lost this pregnancy just to mock me and have another taste of Caleb?” Nathan said.

“What! Nathan!” Daniella exclaimed in shock.

“What? Do you think I didn’t see the way you were smiling at him when he brought you back home? I’m sure you miss his rod that you can’t wait to feel him inside of you again” Nathan said.

“What!” Daniella marvelled with her jaw dropped in shock.

“Honestly, you disgust me, Daniella. To think that I used to trust and think highly of you. Not knowing that you are so cheap and loosed….”

He was still speaking when Daniella angrily slapped him very hard on his cheek with tears streaming down her cheeks.

“You ungrateful human. I can’t believe you are saying this to me, after all, I sacrificed to make you happy. You are so selfish and inconsiderate. You convinced me into sleeping with your friend just so you can keep your ailment a secret from the world. I gave in to your idea even when it was against my belief. Then now, because I suddenly lost the pregnancy, you abandoned me at the hospital. And when I finally returned home, the least you could do is give me cold treatments and use disgustful words on me. Honestly Nathan, why would you even say such things to me knowing full well that all I ever did was to please you?” Daniella asked amidst tears.

“Story for the gods,” Nathan said drinking from his cup.

Then with haste and anger boiling in her heart, Daniella hurried off to her room where she sat on the edge of her bed and broke into tears.

From that day onward, Nathan’s attitude changed completely towards Daniella. He became more hostile to Daniella and nothing she does pleases him again.
