Adebayo pov

I left my house earlier to Steven house.

I had placed a call to the man about my visit to his house.

He sluggishly opened the door to his apartment while I went in.

“You came here early bayo”. He said rubbing his eyes while he yawned out loud.

“I couldn’t sleep throughout the night and decided to visit you”. I replied

“Why don’t you sleep? Is your wife not at home?”. He asked while sitting on the chair opposite my seat.

“That wh0re is the reason why I couldn’t sleep throughout this night”

“Wh0re! Who is the wh0re here?” He asked searching my eyes for an answer.

“Steven, could you believe that my wife is having an extra marital affairs behind my back”.

“I wasn’t surprised because I keep wondering how a woman will stay with her man all these while without having another person banging her outside the house. I even adviced you to tried your luck with another lady outside if you could remember but you said that you couldn’t cheat on your wife. You said that you couldn’t move closer to your wife, and I told you to test yourself out with another woman. You can see that everything is the same now”.

“You are right Steven and I am stup!d for doubting you. Who knows if the real problem comes from her. That woman is ev!l” I shouted while he calmed me down.

“You know what, you are going to find another lady out there and try your luck”.

“I will do just that and I have left the house for her, I told her to go back to her lover”.

“You shouldn’t have do that, you wanted to leave your house for a woman, an ordinary woman, the house you used your sweat to build, you can’t” he said while I nodded my head.

“I will go back there after a week, but for now. I am staying with you because she irritate me. Imagine another man touching my wife anyhow”.

“Forget it dear, let’s go and sleep. There is still time” he said and went inside while I keep thinking about what happened last night.

Folakemi pov

I keep trying Adebayo’s number but it’s not reachable, I have sent several text messages to him but it’s still the same. I broke down into fresh tears.

Earlier by 7:00am

I took my bath and went to tinuke house.

She is surprised to see me that early, I met her dressing her daughter up for school.

“I will wait behind while you take her to school, I don’t want her to be late” I said with a swollen face while she quickly left with the child.

My mind is in disarray and I didn’t know where Adebayo is…

Atinuke arrived back after ten minutes with a concerned look.

“What happened baby girl? Why is your face this swollen?”.

“I am d00med, I got back home yesterday night to meet my husband angry glare. He somehow found out about the video of me and David”. I explained

“But, you guys didn’t do anything nawww, why is he that angry?”.

“I guessed someone lied to him that I am sleeping with David,…..tinuke, my home is destroyed, Adebayo has left the house since morning and I couldn’t get through to him”.

“Calm down baby girl, this is a serious issue ooo, what did you want to do now. Have you inform mummy?”.

“How did you expect me to tell her something like that. She will think I am f0rnicating”.

“He even went to David house and shot him”.

“Oh my God! Tinuke exclaimed

“Hope he is not dead? Why must he k!ll him?”.

“I don’t even know if he is dead or not but he said that he escaped, tinuke, I am concerned about my home now”.

“I Know you are concerned about your home but at least, you should find out about David”.

“We are no longer communicating with each other, I have blocked and deleted his contact when he didn’t sleep with me that day. I did it out of anger”.

“How are we going to get his contact now, did you know his home address?”. She asked

“Yes, I did… but, I can’t go now, what if someone is monitoring me. I wanted to solve out the issue in my home before going after David health”.

“This is serious, you know what? I will try Adebayo number now and see if it go”. She replied picking up her phone.

She dialled his number but it’s not reachable.

“Did he have any friend that he can stay with?”.

“He has a friend and his name is Steven…but, I don’t know his home and don’t have his number”.

“What are we going to do now? You know what? I will try to visit his office. We can go together you know.come on, calm down. Everything will be resolved. Have you eaten?”.

“I am not in the mood to eat”. I replied with a gloomy face

“You need to eat, did you want to k!ll yourself? You really need to eat”. She said while I sighed.

She went into the kitchen to prepare a simple meal while I managed to eat few of it.

We left her house by 9:00am and got to Adebayo office by 9:30.

His secretary saw us and looked away.

“Good morning Lydia, is your boss in?” I asked while she ignored me.

“Are you de*af? Is your boss in?” I repeated the question while she stand up.

“Miss woman or what is your name called. My name is Lydia and I am not du*mb”.

“Excuse me secretary or what is your name once again? Are you referring to your boss wife like that? What audacity, you must be very stup!d” Atinuke cut in

“I am not stup!d attention seeker, you are the stup!d one here, I don’t feel like replying her at all. The boss has gave out an order to never let her step into his office. He gave out the order this morning…it’s not my fault if I don’t reply her” she replied while tears slipped off my face.

Adebayo has never got angry like that before. He is truly angry with me.

Atinuke noticed my tears and told me to calm down.

She picked her phone and dialled Adebayo number.

“Hello, debayo. It’s me Atinuke,please I am in your office and I wanted to see you for an urgent matter. Please don’t ignore me. Can you let me in?” She asked over the phone while she ended the call.

The secretary phone ring and she informed us that we should go in.

We gently close the door and he looked at me with a disgusting look.

“What is this wh0re doing here?” He asked while I went on my kneel.

“Adebayo please, the video you saw is not what you think, she will never cheat on you. Even though the video look real but that man didn’t get down with her”.

“Did you think am a f00l Atinuke? You think you can scribble some lies and I will believe it just like that. I saw her bra in that guy house. What is it doing there hnnn…

“Adebayo, this is a plain misunderstanding, I don’t know how else to explain it to you. But trust me, Folakemi will never cheat on you. You guys loved each other”.

“….I guess that is how you are cheating on your own too husband, because if you are not birds of the same feather. You won’t be here defending a chronic cheat like her”. He replied in anger while I move closer to him.

“I am so sorry Adebayo,. Please forgive me. Don’t let the dev!l ru!n our home”. I pleaded

“The home that is ru!ned already, are you not longer satisfied with his pr!ck. What are you still doing here with me, go and meet your lover” he replied pushing me away while I cried more.

Atinuke also went on her kneel

“Bayo please forgive her”. She pleaded.

“Two prostitute befriending each other, I only pitied the man that you gave birth to….the child may not belong to him, what am I even saying, the child did not belong to him because you guys are best of friend and all what you know is keep cheating on your husband”. He replied sarcastically.

“Excuse me bayo, on top what! I am only here to plead on her behalf, that doesn’t give you the right to talk to me anyhow. I know what I worth and what I don’t worth. What did you mean by the statement you just uttered now? Is it her fault? When you couldn’t sleep with her all these while, should she die. She remained faithful to you all these days and what you could do is to believe a video that you are not sure of” Atinuke replied in anger.

“I know you guys are of the same feather, she has even told you about our problem,..just leave my office, leave my office now!!! He shouted at us while we both left.
