Folakemi pov

After four months.

All my pleadings to Adebayo fell on de*af ears. I have informed my parents about the issue between my husband and I… and they both reprimanded me. My dad has told me that he no longer has a place for me in his house that Adebayo musnt divorce me. I felt ashàmed of myself, i couldn’t report myself to my husband family because we are not in good terms. I tried to continue with my previous life but it’s not just working. I have grew thin from constant thinking.

Even though, Adebayo normally comes back home but once he comes back, he always went straight to the bed without discussing anything with me.

He came home twice a week and I felt that I have lost my marriage to the dev!l. I kept praying as usual and hoping for the best.

Adebayo pov

I have found another pretty lady aside Folakemi, even though I was hurt by what she did…but that video can’t get off my mind. She is touched by another man already and I felt that my love for her has diminished.

I met Dorcas at the night club I went to with Steven. It is up to two months now, I went there to drink my sorrows away when she approached me with a cute smile. She has an attractive figure which could steal your heart away.

She asked of sitting with us and I gave her the go ahead.

Since then, we have been best of friends. She invited me to her house the following week and we made out on her bedroom. It is a beautiful sight because it’s like a miracle to me. Who would have thought that my pr!ck will work for another woman, it means that Folakemi is the real problem in my marriage.

I slept with Dorcas the second time to be sure of my curiosity and I didn’t felt weak.

This new discovery diminish Folakemi love in my heart. I love Dorcas alot and I don’t think I will end things with her in the nearest future.

We spent most nights together and I slept in her house for five days while I spent the remaining two days with Folakemi

No one should really blame me,

What Folakemi did to me will forever be in my heart.

I am even planning to marry Dorcas the following month… but, I wanted to be sure of her being fertile before informing my dad about it because my mum is aware of it from the start and she like Dorcas

I can’t wait to marry Dorcas.

Mother inlaw pov.

Boluwatife came home with her load and two kids. I couldn’t understand all of this.

She has a swollen face with plaster on her forehead.

I move closer to my daughter to be sure of what I am seeing.

“Mum, dayo finally sent me out of his house, he said that he never wants to see me in his house again including our kids” she said amidst tears while I calmed her down.

“He is truly ma*d, if he doesn’t want you again, another man will wants you. We still have a vacant room here and you will start living back with us” I consoled while she dried off her tears.

“Mum, I couldn’t believe that you could accomodate me back to the house, I love you mum”.

“Is it when he finally kill you before I accept you back to my house. i can’t send you away, you are my only daughter and if a useless man don’t want you, another useful man will want you. Just calm yourself” I replied while I take her to the room.

She bathed and ate her food while her kids went to play with the other kids.

My husband came back from the meeting he went to and saw boluwatife.

“This one that you came to greet us for today, hope there is no problem?” He asked sitting on the chair while I reply

“She didn’t came here to visit us, she will start living with us from now on”.

“Living with us, as how?”.

“Her husband sent her away and I have decided to accomodate her”.

“Accommodate who? Are you Stu*pid? Who are you accommodating? A married woman with two kids, are you out of your senses?” He asked in anger.

“I am not out of my senses baba bayo, is it when that stupid man k!ll my daughter that Is when i will let her live with us or what? She is our daughter and she is staying here with us”.

“I am your husband and this is an order, it’s either she went back to her husband house or you both leave my house”.

“She is going no where” I insisted

“Let’s wait and see” he replied and went into his room in anger.

“What am I going to do now mummy? You know how dad anger is. I don’t want any problem for you oooo”. She lamented

“I don’t know that my husband will get angry like this, you know what? I will inform Folakemi of your presence in her house. You will start living there till everything cool down here”.

“With Folakemi?”.

“Yes naw, what about her? You will live with her and she have no choice than to accommodate you” I adviced.

I place a call to Folakemi, informing her of boluwatife presence.

“Ma, this is my husband house and my sister in law can’t start living with us without informing my husband first”

“Shut up your mouth, who gave birth to your husband? Am I not the one. I am aware of what is happening in your marriage, your husband no longer stay at home and you are the only one living in that huge building. Since you refused to give birth to any kid all these while, I will suggest that you accommodate your sister in law if God says that you should give birth to a child, then you will. And if you don’t, then that is your own problem. What matters to me is YOU accommodating my own child”.

“I don’t think so ma am, I can’t accommodate her and I meant it” she replied and ended the call.

“They don’t born her well, she dared end the call on me. I will inform my son about it and she will have no choice than to comply to it. Is she the owner of the house or is she the one that built it? I will deal with that lady, but not now”.

I placed a call to Adebayo

“Boluwatife can start living with Folakemi after all she is no longer of use to me, she is only living in that house like a statue all these while. I am done defending her against my family ….but now, you guys can do whatever you like. I am the one that built the house and she have no choice than to comply” Adebayo responded over the phone.

“Thanks alot my son, how is my new wife over there?”.

“She is fine o and I am enjoying every moment with her” he replied and ended the call while I smile.

“Your brother gave the go ahead, you can start living with Folakemi. It’s your brother house”.

“Mum, is Adebayo planning to take in another wife?”. She asked

“Yes naw, he is planning to marry another wife since the woman in his house refused to give birth to a kid all these while. He had no choice than to go for another person”. I replied

“Alright mum, I just want to satisfy my curiosity” she replied.

I helped in bringing out her load while I held the two kids hands, we board a cab to Adebayo house and we knocked on the gate.

Folakemi came out of the house after several knocking, she opened the gate and greeted me.

“Hold your greetings bar*Ren woman, your sister in law is here now, you can now do whatever you like”.

“She is here, as what? For a visit or what?”.

“You are really ru*de, she will start living with you, and don’t you see all these loads, they are going into the house and you don’t have any Choice than to comply. I have called Adebayo and he is aware of our presence.

“Are you sure of what you are saying, Adebayo gave you the go ahead”.

“Your mother is lieing at home, you can take your phone and call him”.

She went inside the house to get her phone and dialled Adebayo’s number but it’s not reachable.

“You are using an outdated phone, I will call him on my own phone” I said and dialled my son number. It ring in an instant and he picked it up.

“Hello debayo”. I said turning on the loud speaker for Folakemi to hear

” Mum, you have called me before and I have gave you the go ahead, your call is disturbing me and my love”. He replied over the phone.

“Your wife didn’t believe that you allowed us into your house”.

“Is she ma*d? is it a must for her to believe. I am the owner of the house and you can live there as long as you like. she have no choice than to comply to whatever I have said in that house after all she refused to give birth to a child, all what she knows is to commit adultery here and there. Tell her to let you in or you give her the phone and let me speak some senses into her head”.

Folakemi pov

I couldn’t believe that a day will come when Adebayo will talk to me anyhow in front of his family, if we had an misunderstanding, he supposed to have forgiven me. I am his wife for God sake, I know I made a mistake by going into another man’s house and to come to think of it. I was drunk and rescued by David. I wasnt in my right senses when I forced David to have s…x with me in which he didn’t comply to what I wanted. Where have I gone wrong for God sake. Why can’t bayo forgive me. This is getting too much for my weak heart, I am getting frail in belief everyday.

My mother in law handed the phone to me but I refused it and let them into the house.

I went straight to my bedroom and cried my eyes out.

I walked into the standing mirror in the room and look at my lean figure, I am no longer the cheerful lady, all the bone in my collar is visible and my eyes is weak from constant crying, my hair is roughly packed and I wonder the kind of image I represented out there.

I am tired and weary of everything.

I am tired of constant fighting with my husband family.

I am tired of my husband having malice with me.

I am tired of myself.

I just want peace…

David pov.

After I was discharged from the hospital, I keep working hard. I have expanded my company to another state and it makes me busy. I hardly stay within my former company because I had another house that I am living in the other state.

My heart always yearned for Folakemi even after what happened between me and her husband, I don’t know the state that she is in now and I am afraid of meeting her. I don’t want anyone to misunderstand our meeting, she is pained already and I hope that her husband has forgiven her.

I couldn’t contact her number and it make me worried.

I contacted Gabriel to ask of Folakemi and his reply got me sad.

He said that she has not been herself since five months now and she hardly talk at work.

After hearing what he said, I took my car key and got into the car.

I drove off to his office but parked my car at a distant, I don’t want her to be aware of my presence.

It’s lunch time already and I watched her sitting alone.

She is putting on a white and yellow gown, she look frail and her hair look so rough. She has grew lean which gave me a concern.

I wanted to approach her but I decided against it.

She ate and went back to the office.

I waited till evening and see her coming out of the office.

No one came to pick her up not even her husband. it means that she still have a problem in her marriage.

I drove close to her and rolled down the glass.

She peeked inside and see my face.

“Kemmy, please come in” I pleaded but she look away while tears slipped off her face.

“David please go away, I have suffered enough pain by meeting with you and I don’t want it to repeat itself. I don’t want people to see us together and start thinking of another thing”.

“It hurts my heart seeing you this way, please come in and let’s talk”. I pleaded while she came in.

I drove her to the garden along the street, the place is not that bright and people hardly sit there.

“I deliberately brought you here because I don’t want you to misunderstand my intention and I want no one to see us” I said leading her to a seat while she sit down.

“Kemmy, you don’t need to explain anything to me. I am aware of whatever is going on in your marriage and I am sad that I am the cause of it”.

“Please don’t blame yourself, I am rather the cause of it. I was the one that forced myself to you…. I wasn’t in my right senses that day and I was depressed but Jennifer deliberately captured that moment and gave the video to my husband. I brought the misfor*tune to myself and I deeply regretted my actions”. She cried out.

“Please stop it kemmy, did you want me to also cry? Where is bayo now?” I asked

“He no longer comes home, I was aware that he had another girlfriend”.

“You made a small mistake and he went ahead to get himself another lady. what an irony of life. You deserve to be forgiven after all these months, did you want to k!ll yourself. You know what?”.

“What?”.

“What if I get you Jennifer and she confessed to your husband that it was all a lie, I don’t like seeing you this way and didn’t he trust you”.

“You don’t need to get Jennifer, I only need her contact. I wanted to thank her for ruining my home….. David, I am tired. I want peace”. She lamented and I watched the bone visible around her neck. Kemmy has changed.

“How is your arm, I heard that you were shot”.

“I am better now and don’t worry about me”.I replied and went on my kneel

“Kemmy, please let me pamper you, you don’t look well to me. You need it, if your husband can’t trust you at this stage, you shouldn’t think about it. I wanted to care about you out of my own genuinity, I am not doing it out of my own interest. I am only after your health”.

“What did you want people to say after seeing us together?”. She asked

“Let them think anything but what I know is that,…we have nothing together” I replied while she held my two hands.

Tears flooded her eyes and she gazed into my eyes.

“David, I wanted to be healed, please take me away. I am tired of this life and everything in it. I have no peace ever since I got married. I need rest” she said while I stand on my feet.

I carried her from her seat and lead the way down to my car. I placed her back on the back seat, shut the door and drive off.
