That was so close, I couldn’t hold myself after holding some parts of her body. We kissed for a longggg time savouring the tenderness of each other lips. I don’t know if she has an hidden feelings for me because we couldn’t let go of each other. I slipped my hand under her cloth finding it’s way to the back of her bra while She regained her sense and pushed me away.

Feeling embarrassed.

“I have to go” she said and left immediately without waiting for me. I touched my lips and smile. I have lost my senses, if she didn’t pull me back. I would have had my way with her…but, it’s for the best. I am on her friendship side now.

Sitting on the chair, I tried to control the bulge forming under my shorts.

What did I just done over there, I am getting married in few months to come and still have the audacity to kiss another man. I hope no one See’s me because I don’t know what to explain to Adebayo.

I quickly board a cab back to my house while I entered my room and locked myself in.

Since Folakemi is not coming to my side, i am alone at home. Watching movies all alone. I missed her presence.

Just then, my investigator sent two pictures of Folakemi to me… leaving David’s house.

My heart shattered into pieces,

Another message popped on my phone.

I clicked on it and read it out.

She spent thirty minutes with him, I couldn’t penetrate into his house to find out what is going on. I will try harder next time.

I read the message and got soooo angry.

What if he has touched her as usual?

I couldn’t think straight as I dialled her number.

“Hello Folakemi”.

“Hi dear”.

“Where are you presently, I feel like seeing you” I said

“I just got back home from where dad sent me. Did you want to see me?”.

“Yes, I want to see you now” I replied.

“Alright, will get there in d next thirty minutes” she replied and ended the call while I sighed out in anger.

I keep pacing up and down the house, I couldn’t think straight any longer as I went to the shelf and start drinking.

She arrived in the next thirty minutes looking natural.

“Why are you drinking so hard?” She asked pointing at the bottles on the table.

I am drunk and couldn’t think straight, I pounched on her furiously and pushed her on the floor, she wailed out loudly. I didn’t care about her cries as I tore her clothes and force my way into her. She struggled and cried out hard.

I took out my frustration on her and raped her. After getting satisfied with myself, the drink cleared off my face.

I watched as she struggled to cover her body in tears while the lower part of her white gown is stained with blood. I felt guilty, not trusting her. I hope she will be able to forgive me after this.

She picked her phone and dialled someone’s number.

“Please, come down to Adebayo address with a new cloth” she said and ended the call.

I went on my kneel begging her but she refused to look at my side.

After a long time of sobbing

She faced me and said “I think you are satisfied now”.

She didn’t say another word till I heard a knock on the door, she dragged herself up to open the door while Atinuke gasped seeing her in that condition.

“What happened to your clothes? Why is your hair scattered? Did you guys had a fight?” She asked while she collected the cloth from Atinuke and wore it. She threw the stained cloth at me and went out with her friend.

I don’t know where to start from, her silence is something else.

I couldn’t believe that Adebayo will finally rape me. What came over him? We have just few months to go. I have loved him all my life even though, I am guilty of kissing David but we didn’t have anything together and did he k ow about my visit to David’s house? Why must he rape me? Why did he betrayed the trust I had in him?….we have just few months to go, whats the rush all about. I need to cancel this wedding. I can’t go on with a rapist…but, how would I tell my dad? What am I going to do?. I have imagined our wedding night several times not knowing that I will lost my virginity through raping. My world came crumbling at my feet, I can’t cope with this.

I broke down into fresh tears while Atinuke look at my face. She stopped her car beside the road and take in her two hands.

“Folakemi, I am your only Friend and we have been together for God knows when? If anything is bothering your mind, kindly tell me. I don’t know what’s wrong between you and Adebayo. He look sober when we wants to leave his house and I noticed that you threw your clothes at him. What happened? I am lost here”.

“Adebayo raped me” I replied while she look shocked.

“He raped you. How? He is patient all these while, what went wrong? I think we need to hear him out first…but that doesn’t justify his act. Is he ma**d? How many months did you guys have left that he can’t wait any longer. What he will do and get tired of? He should come and ask people like us. We are tired of doing it everyday. Why can’t he wait?”.

“I am calling off the wedding”.

“You are what? Folakemi, it is not up to that. I know that what he did is very wrong…but, you can’t call off everything like that. What did you want to tell your dad? Babe, this guy is the one that will marry you at last so…you should let it go please. Forgive him and I am going to talk to him about this”. She tried to convince me.

“That is the final, I am not going back to it” I expressed while she gave up on it. She drove me back to my house.

She tried to came in but I told her to let me be, I wants to be alone.

She understand and left.
