Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 24

Adebayo held the collar of David’s cloth in anger while David smile. Everyone in the restaurant started murmuring whie watching us. I had to step in between them and release his grip from David’s cloth.

“Bayo, please let it go. I also over reacted by shouting out sooooo….loud, let’s just leave this place” I pleaded while bayo let go of his cloth and signalled to one of the waiter to pack the food he just bought.

David left the restaurant after checking me out while I felt uneasy.

I and my fiancee left the restaurant in a ba*d mood but bayo keep cheering me up not minding the way he look too.

I am confused about my life, why do David wants me alot? Is there something about me that I am not aware of? I need a silent time to talk to him. I have tried it severally but it’s not working, but for now. I need to see him alone and beg him.

Adebayo’s p.o.v

I don’t know what that man wants in my fiancee life, we are both together and everyone is aware of our wedding date. Why is he bothering her? Is there something else between the two that I am not aware of? I need to run a private investigation between those two. I don’t trust that guy.

I drive Folakemi back to her parents house while she sadly left. I dialled someone’s number and gave out instructions.

I went back home dejectedly, I need to speed up our wedding ceremony.

After a week

Christiana p.o.v

After escaping from Raymond den, I was unable to contact my little sister.

I sneakily left his compound and went to a nearby call centre to call my sister.

She arrived in a flash to pick me up.

“Sister, I thought you are on one of your vacation. Where have you been all this while? Why did you look this way?” She asked with deep concern on her face while driving the car with her left hand.

“Jennifer, I was kidnapped by Raymond”.

“Raymond, you mean that your ex… boyfriend”.

“Yes”.

“Why? What warrant such? Haven’t you guys leave each other”.

“I have left him but he came after me, he saw that I was harmless and decided to use that period to kidnap me. He raped me several times sister and he must pay for it!

“He must really pay for it. Can I handle it?” She asked.

“No, I will do the job by myself. For now, I am thirsty”.

She stopped the car in the front of a small shop and bought two table water while she gave me one. I gulped it down in an instant.

“How is David?” I asked all of a sudden while she smile

“He is still that stubborn, I used every method to get to him but he is not responding to him. I really love that guy, that is the reason why I sent you in the first place to convince him to leave that lady but he is still bent in dating her. I need to work on his weakness for now” she replied with an ev*il smile while I also smile.

“But Jennifer, you Know that everything I am doing is for you, since he is your only request. I need to do something about him fast. Well, I can’t blame you. Who wouldn’t fall for David. He is every women spec”.

“Not every women spec but my own spec and I am going to do anything to have him wether he is in love with a Stu*pid woman or not. I am less concerned about her. We should work this out together”. She reminded while I nodded my head.

Jennifer p.o.v

Christiana is my elder sister and she knows how much I love David, I deliberately send her after him, that is the reason why she is after him all these while. She is doing everything for me.

I watched my sister as she closed her eyes. She is really exhausted.

I drove her to my house while my body guard helped her in.

My maid help in bathing and clothing her while she ate a good meal. She slept after that.

I lit up my cigarette and stare at David picture which is my screen saver. He wore a casual wear with his two hands in his pocket. He look cool.

But, how do I get him?

Folakemi p.o.v

After the last incidence at the restaurant, David stopped calling and sending me text. I felt relived but his silence is somehow.

I decided to dialled his number in order to visit him this weekend.

I really need to sit down and talk some senses into his skull, I felt talking harshly to him doesn’t solve anything but….if I can talk to him in a gentle way, he may probably succumb to it and leave me alone.

I lied to Adebayo that I wanted to run few errands for my parents. He understand me and end the call while I sighed.

It’s the first time of lieing to him and I feel somehow. I really need to talk to David.

I dialled his number which he pick in an instant.

“Please send me your home address” I pleaded while he sent it.

I wore my dress and packed my hair before leaving the house.

I boarded a cab to the estate he is living and met him standing in front of his building. He didn’t wear nothing much, just an harmless top with a short trouser.

I was ushered into his house and the place is breathtaking, he really took his time in decorating the place. I sat down on the couch while he smile at me.

“Anything for the married woman in my house?” He asked.

“I am here for a talk and I will be fast with it”.

“Calm down babe, this is your first time of coming to my house. You don’t need to be in an hurry…plus, I can’t do anything to hurt you. Would you please tell me what you will like to eat or drink?” He asked in his calmest voice.

“An orange juice will do”. I replied while he rushed to serve me the juice.

He placed it on the table…telling me to drink it while I look somehow.

“You don’t need to be afraid, it’s not injected” he replied while he sipped the drink and gave it to me.

I collected it with a “Thank you” and gulped down the content.

“How is it? Should I pour you more?” He asked with a smile. It’s all written on his face how excited he is…to see me.

“Don’t worry, I am okay”

“Alright, should I prepare you a meal?”.

“I said I am okay, now straight to the point”.

“David, I know how much you cherished me, you loved me, you wanted me. I know how much I mean to your life . You have expressed your love to me all these years which I deeply appreciate …from the bottom of my heart. I wanted to use this medium to thank you for loving me so much, for loving me unconditionally.

But, won’t it be better if you showed that love to someone else, someone that is not entangled with another man. Someone that wants you and David, there are alot of women out there who wanted you, who appreciate you and wanted to get close to you. Please give them a chance and let me go. David, I am begging you, let me goooo! We can’t be together, it is written everywhere. The signs are there. I belong to a man, just a man and that is Adebayo, I don’t want you guys to fight over me in the future. Bayo loves me, please let me go” I pleaded while he held my two hands and look into my eyes.

“Kemmy, it’s not my fault for loving you. No matter how bàd you treated me, it never depreciate the love I have for you . I have talked to myself several times to let you go but I have a stubborn heart. If there is anyway to forget about you, I will kindly do so. I don’t want to become a pervert in your home. I understand how you feel but this heart is stubborn and keep loving you every single day. I have tried all the means to forget you Folakemi…but it’s not working. I guess I have to love you for the rest of my life. Even if you get married to another man. I will stop disturbing you, I will try to control myself anytime I see you”.

“Are you making all those promises? Did you promise to let me go?” I asked searching his eyes for an answer.

“I didn’t hold you, the love I have for you is in my heart which refuses to go. I will stop disturbing you for love but can we be friends. I guessed that my love should be limited to friendship” he said while I nodded my head.

He smile while I also let out a smile. He released my two hands while I stand up to leave his house.

I was about to open his door when I slipped off. He is closer by and grabbed my waist. Starring deep into his eyes with his hand around my waist. I felt lost.

Before I could regain my composure. We both have draw our heads together for a passionate kiss….
