David pov

My name is David Johnson and I am the first son of my parent. I had two younger sisters who are married off to their partners. I am currently the c.e.o of “DEE MOTORS”. I deal with different types of cars for sales. I was born into a wealthy family which make it easier for me to establish any business of my choice.

I am currently thirty five years old and my mum has been on my neck for how long. It’s not that… I dont see any lady to get married to. I just don’t have interest in any lady ever since my ex girlfriend cheated and dumped me. I spent almost everything on her but she ended up going for another guy. I am single for over three years now not until I met Folakemi. I felt something special with the lady but she keep turning me away, I felt sadder seeing her with her fiancee but I have no choice.

“Another sad day” I said as I walk into the bar along my street.

I ordered for two bottles of wine and keep sipping it.

A pretty young lady walked over to my place. She was dressed in a tight fitted short gown with a silver heel.

She bend over a little bit and keep searching my face as if she is looking for something.

“David Johnson” she called out while I gazed at her.

“You know me”.

“Why won’t i? Have you forgotten Christiana Badmus”.

“Oh! Christie! It’s been a while. Have your seat” I replied pointing towards the seat opposite the table.

“Wow! It’s been a while, your face don’t change a bit except for your body structure mehn! You look cutier. What are you doing here?”. She asked sitting down.

“You are also not looking bàd , I came here to relax. How is everything? Family? Business”.

“For business, it is moving smoothly and about family. I am yet to have one”.

“Why? You are a pretty young lady and I remember how guys are hovering over you at school then, what went wrong?” I asked

“I am finding it hard to settle with one”.

“You are not getting younger”.

“Come off it! I am just 26years”.

“Alright, if you say so” I replied sipping my drink while I ordered the bar man to serve her what she wants. She also ordered for what I am drinking.

“And you, how is business and family?” She asked all of a sudden.

“Business is moving well and I don’t have a family yet”. I replied

“Why?”.

“I am yet to find a responsible lady, the only responsible lady I love…love someone else. What an irony of life”.

“You don’t have to think much about people like that, you have to move on with your life. There are alot of ladies in the world, go for one” she advised

“Thanks for your advice but I don’t think I can find someone else”.

“What will you now do? Will you remain single for the rest of your life?”.

“I will remain single if I don’t marry that lady” I replied sipping the drink.

“What if you find someone like her?”.

“If I find someone like her and probably fall in love. I may date such person but I don’t think it’s possible”.

“God will help you. Are you living close to this area? She asked.

“Yeah! My house is along the street, not too far from here”.

“May I know your place?” She asked excitedly.

I don’t know the reason why she wants to know my place. I hardly take any woman to my house, I am planning to take Folakemi there someday.

“My house?”.

“Yes, your house” she said.

“I am sorry, I won’t be able to invite you into my house maybe some other day. I can only give you my contact”.

“Alright if you insisted” she replied while we exchange contact. I left afterwards.

Folakemi pov

Adebayo drove me to his house after leaving David behind. I gently Alighted from his car and we both went in.

He roughly pull me to his chest and forced a kiss on me.

“Adebayo wait! I said pulling him away.

“What’s wrong?why did you pull me away? We always shared kiss except for you stopping me from getting further with you. You kept yourself from me all these years while I managed to endure myself. If I don’t do anything about you now, another guy will snatch you away from me. Just like the guy we met at your office, he look determined. I can’t lose you to another person, I must possess what I have”.

“What did you mean by possess? Don’t you have me before?”.

“That is not what I mean, what I mean is that… I want you now. I have waited all these while and endure myself alot in the past. I can’t take it anymore. The biggest assurance you can give to me is to let us do it now. If you stop me, I will consider you seeing another person and never want me”.

“What kind of assurance did you need again. I have been with you all these years, your mother keep being the problem here. It is not my fault”.

“Why did I have the feeling that you have gave your Virginity to that guy because the way he look at you is somehow. I am not bl*ind. I see everything”.

“I think I have to go, you are not in your right frame of mind, when you are in good state of mind, you can call me” I replied and pick up my bag.

I was about to open the door when he forcefully dragged me back, he pushed me to the chair and force a kiss on me. I can’t believe that a day like this will come. What happened to the man I dated for years? He always control himself anytime he is with me. What happened to him? Can’t he hold himself anymore?. All those thoughts keep pouring into my head as he unbuttoned my shirt.
