Jealousy is nothing but poison and I’ve seen and read quite a lot to know how toxic it is. It’s natural for people to be jealous but if it gets out of hand, bad things are sure to happen.

After Peter and I got dressed, we drove out of the farm and headed home. On our way home, I stole glances at Peter’s face and it was evident that he was still jealous and annoyed by what I told him. Peter is a sweet and gentle man but he has zero control over his emotions and that’s what I’m afraid of.

Eventually, we arrived at the farm house but instead on dropping me by the road side, Peter drove all the way to the front porch of the house and dropped me there.

Marian Thanks but you shouldn’t have drove me all the way here.

Peter Please, do you realize how far it is from the front of the farm to this place? Your beautiful legs need to rest.

Marian Okay, but this should be the last time. Goodbye.

Peter Sure.

Marian We can’t. My mistress could be here any minute and she won’t take it kindly if she saw me kissing you right in front of her house.
