LUAN

The day was finally over and the Sun had already disappeared out of the sky giving way to the moon and blanket of darkness.

Here in the local pub , The men were busy talking about the incident that happened in the church today. Everyone was pleased about what the man did and he was highly praised for taking a stand to that racist pastor Bernard.

Nobody liked Bernard, cause he would use his position as a tool to ridicule black men, the only thing good about him was his stunning wife, Susan. The woman is quite an attractive lady and it was rumored that she invited men to satisfy her lust whenever her husband was away. It wasn’t hard to believe this cause her husband’s inability to perform in bed was widely known, so it would make sense that the lady would seek other men outside.

After sharing a couples of drinks with some of the men, I left the pub and went over to Toby’s place to check on him. By the time I arrived at his place, the 56 year old was sitting outside on his rocking chair.

Luan Enjoying the wind, old man?

Toby (laughs) Old? I’m still fit, boy. How’s your day?

Luan The same as always.

Toby Hmm, how’s Elizabeth?

Luan She’s doing fine. Our relationship is steady but she’ll be mine eventually.

Toby Hope you’re doing your assignment?

.

Luan (sighs) Not this again.

Toby LISTEN!! Don’t get too distracted! The war is not over and our enemy is out there. We need to know if she’s in cahoots with him.

Luan She’s innocent alright! She’s not a German spy like that traitorous husband of hers.

Toby I know she means a lot to you but you need to at least try.
