Nelson woke up the following morning feeling terrible, he screamed when he saw Clara lying on the same bed with him

“what is going on here?” He closed his eyes and opened them again “it’s not a dream” He jumped out of bed hitting Clara

“How did you get here, what do you want and where is my wife”

“How will I answer all these questions? Nelson can’t you see you are a failure, thanks for last night though, I should be expecting triplet” she grinned

“You are a fool, you lived with me for good 5years, there was no pregnancy, is it just this last night that will perform the Miracle? Where is my wife? what did you tell her?”

“I showed her our divorce letter you didn’t sign before getting married to her” she wore her clothes “You just made the case more interesting” by tomorrow you will hear from my lawyer.

She stood up to leave, Nelson stopped her

“Clara don’t do anything stupid tell me where you put my wife!.” He exclaimed “If anything bad happens to her, then you will know what I’m capable of doing” He stepped out calling on Keji

“Nelson is threatening me because of a woman like me, hmm okay they will meet me here” she sat back fuming in anger

Nelson kept calling her name till he saw Dara.

“Dara how are you, did you see my wife”

“Yes sir, I saw her last night, and I must tell you she was not in a good mood, though she didn’t tell me what happened”

“Okay thank you”

“Sir!” She called him back, “I had a feeling that she’s in danger” please report immediately to our community securities

“You mean the vigilantes”

“Yes sir, I will check our customers too maybe she visited any of them”

“Thank you Dara” he appreciated her and ran quickly to the town hall, he met the leader of the vigilante group and explained to him. The leader called the two vigilantes he posted to the area, but they denied seeing anyone.

After waiting for many hours and no traces of keji, he ran to the church to inform their pastor; Pastor Moses.

“Good afternoon sir”

“Bro Nelson what happened I hope all is well, you looked stressed”

“I’m very stressed sir have been looking for my wife since morning sir”

“Looking for your wife? She didn’t tell you her whereabouts”

“No sir”

“Why will she do like that, and you guys slept under the same roof last night”

“Ehm sir the thing is that I got so drunk last night,” He said looking down

“Bro Nelson, what are you telling me?” The pastor moved closer to him in disbelief

He went on his knees “I’m saying the truth, sir, I got sacked from work yesterday, so the frustration led me into drinking, I came home late, only to wake up this morning and see my ex lying beside me instead of my wife”

“Ex, what does that mean?”

“My ex-wife, I had a failed marriage before I relocate to this community”

“What! Pastor Moses exclaimed. Nelson did you tell this before you come and marry sis Keji.

You kept this from me, you deceived me, you deceive that vibrant sister, oh Morenikeji” he lamented.

“I’m sorry pastor please pray for me”

“What does this ex want from you?”

“She brought the divorce paper, I forget to sign before leaving Lagos”

“Hmm, I’m very surprised and disappointed” He took his anointing oil and prayed. He poured some on the floor “My father in heaven before this oil dries off, I want your daughter, Morenikeji back from wherever she is. Protect her from danger, preserve her soul”

Keji was tied down in a dark room ready to be slaughtered for ritual. The two vigilantes and their herbalist entered the darkroom.

“Two of you, carry this calabash and place it on her head” the herbalist instructed.
