Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 13
“Anyways, why are you coming out of the boy’s quarters? What were you doing there?,” Godwin asked with suspicion written all over him.
I turned, and found Dominic looking back at me. He looked scared, as though his life depended on me.
“Dinma asked me not to stay with her in the main building,” I replied.
“What? Where’s Dinma? Where is that annoying b*tch? Where is she?,” Godwin screamed angrily.
“She left with Segun yesterday night,” Dominic said with a straight face.
Immediately, Godwin’s face changed. He no longer looked angry, his face was rather surprised.
“Is it up to six months?”
“Yes sir,” Dominic replied.
Godwin nodded slightly, and then ordered some of the policemen there to take Sandra’s bag into the mansion.
“Take Lillian’s bag out of the boy’s quarters into the main house too,” he ordered.
“I don’t want to stay in the main house though. I prefer the boy’s quarters,” I said stubbornly.
I still needed to monitor Dominic to fully understand him.
Sandra grabbed my hand, looking really scared.
“Please. I can’t stay in that big house alone.”
The fear in her eyes grew, as though she knew she was in danger. She squeezed my hands so tight, that I had no choice than to nod in agreement.
She smiled brightly, and began to draw me into the main house. As soon as we got inside, she began to climb the stairs.
“Where are you taking me to? You don’t even know this place.”
She stopped for a moment, and looked at the policemen bringing in our bags.
“I need to tell you something. Privately”
She continued dragging me, until we got to a white door. She opened it, and we stepped into a bedroom.
“Did you read the contract?,” Sandra asked.
“What contract? The extremely large one?,” I asked, surprised that she brought it up.
“Yes, the one that says that you have to work for Mr Godwin for life or he’ll do whatever he wants with you and your vital organs. Did you read it?”
I was shocked, and all I could mutter was,
“What did you just say?”
