Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 12

As I sat on the sofa, thoughts of Dominic’s voice crossed my mind.

“Yes, they killed her…I this young lady is next”

I shivered in fright, as thoughts of how to escape began to nudge at my mind. I didn’t notice when Dominic walked into the parlor,

“What are you thinking about?”

I jumped up in surprise, and began to stammer,

“I…um..I…”

At that moment, the sound of a car coming into the compound made Dominic forget about my funny attitude. He walked outside, leaving me in the sitting room where my heart was pounding from the fear of what I had just experienced. I peeped outside, and saw Goodwin, the man who had recruited me into this death game step out of his car with smiles all over his face. There was a timid looking girl of around 17 years with him, her face was a mixture of fear and discomfort.

I walked outside to meet Godwin, the thoughts on my mind were to ask him where Dinma was. As I got closer to him, ready to slap him, I was clasped into a tight hug by him.

“My angel, I’m really sorry to not have come to see you for this period of time, anyways we have a job for you tomorrow night” he whispered into my ear.

As I pushed him away with anger, he pointed to the little girl.

“This is Sandra, she’ll be joining you in the business, and she’ll be going with you too tomorrow. I expect you to take care of her, as she’s still very young.”

I turned to the girl, and saw how afraid she was. Thoughts of Dominic’s call also crossed my mind again,

“I think the other young lady could be next.”

I looked at Dominic, and saw him fidgeting with his cellphone, while throwing quick glances at Sandra.

I now began to wonder if I was the young lady Dominic was actually talking about. What if it was this innocent looking young girl? What if Godwin’s company killed every young girl that worked for them? What if we were both next?

I made up my mind then to stay behind and save this young girl too, Even if it costs me my life.
