The next day, pastor John came as planned.

I was speaking with my mom on the phone when he knocked at my door.

I excused myself from the call while sis. Adaobi rushed out immediately to the balcony at the back and had the phone on silent and on record.

“Go open the door now.” She whispered, waving her hands.

“Again… Don’t forget! You are to ask him when you notice he has had boners. You can take anything, even a man’s head when he’s got a boner.” She instructed, as I walked to the door, covered with dark blue goosebumps.

“Is this the right thing to do?” I asked myself, opening the door for him.

“Good evening” I greeted him.

“ You look so enticing.” He said as he stretched his hands towards my buttocks to touch.

The guts! Shocked!

“No! Hold on! Your blood is hot. Calm your nerves.” I said moving back a bit.

“Me? Calm down?” He laughed and continued, “you have no idea how long I’ve longed for your lips.” He said, licking his lips, as he placed his both hands on my cheeks and leaned towards me to kiss me.

“ You should take a drink, please.” I said and moved away from him, walking towards the kitchen to get him a sachet of water.

When I broed already, looking around the room.

“Why did you do that?” I asked him.

“Why did I do what?” He responded, pretending not to understand my question.

“ Why did you have to lie to the church about us?” I asked, looking at him quizzically.

“ Oh! That? Esther, we really do not need to talk about this now. I am here for us to enjoy ourselves. I have longed to slip and run my fingers all over you. You fascinate me. Please, let’s leave this and have a good time.” he pleaded, and moved closer to me, and I didn’t move.

“John! Why did you lie?” I questioned again, trying to control my emotions because I could feel unusual warmth between my legs. My body was curious to explore, but my resentment for him overwhelmed my feelings, which helped me connected with the plans.

The plan was for me to make him give out vital information in the record tape. Although, I felt I was spell bounded as he let his arms swing loosely to my waist.

“Please, let me feel you.” He begged, and waited for a moment before gently pulling my hair from my shoulders to plant a line of kisses down the back of my neck.

“Could you please stop? I am giving you nothing until I hear the truth from you. You do not expect me to give you myself, when I do not even know who you are.” I said, looking down between his legs to examine if had some boners already.

Surely! It was revealing in his trousers.

“Who could have taught Adaobi this.” I wondered, as he looked down between his legs, too.

“You shouldn’t punish me this way, Esther.” He pleaded like a lost child, and it felt good to see him at my mercy.

“You are punishing yourself. On a good grounds, I shouldn’t be talking to you because you lied against me. But, I overlooked, and only seek to know the truth. Why did you do that? If you really want to have me, then, tell me, WHY DID YOU LIE?” I asked him again.

Frustrated, he hit his head and moved towards my reading desk.

“Esther, Sis. Nkasi is blackmailing me.” He finally opened up.

“Why?” I asked him.

“Common! It is nothing you should know about.” He waved it aside.

“Oh! Really? Okay then, you can leave my house now.”

“ Stop na, just look at me.” He said, pointing in between his legs.

“Does it look like I care about it?” I said, walking away from him.

“It is alright, Esther. Nkasi knows something dirty about my past life.”

“And what is that?”

“Esther!” He called out, displeased with my questions.

“What is that?” I repeated myself, as I am the one in charge. He was acting like a moron, he just wanted to have me by all cost. He had lost his power.

“ Chikwado and I have been having sex, sis.Nkasi knows about it. She forced me into lying about what exactly happened that night. She loves me and feels threatened with you. Chikwado told her about our affair together as the choir mistress. She got mad and asked me to cut from every sister, so she could have me to herself.” He narrated, but refused to tell me about the pregnancy or abortion.

“I’m sure you had sex with sis. Nkasi too, yes or no?” I asked.

“Esther! Ok, I did, we have been having sex ever since the meeting. Not like I enjoy it, I just do it to have my secrets safe.” He pleaded.

“Oh! And you are here to have a taste of me like you did with the both. Right? You think I am that cheap and dumb?” I asked him, irritated with his guts.

“ It’s not what you think.”

“Get out of my house.” I ordered.

He was extremely shocked and felt terribly mad.

“What?”

“You heard me right, John. Get your dirty self out of my house, you hypocrite.” I shouted because I was already mad.

“You do not want to regret this day, Esther. Do you? You can’t bring me to this place without giving me what I came here for.” He threatened me.

“Are you threatening me?” Are you?” I questioned. But he laughed and moved towards me, whispering this in my ears.

“You know nobody would believe if I force myself on you now. Nobody believed you earlier. Pathetic! Your parents didn’t and would not either.” He whispered, laughing so hard.

I felt like strangling him to dea.th if I could.

“Get out!” I said, but he looked around the room, bite his lips, and forcefully grabbed my waist, pushing me to the bed in seconds as I shouted.

“Get your dirty self off me.”

“ You can’t give me a series of erections and expect me to leave without feeding it.” He said as he tucked and tore my blouse.

Adaobi had already gotten into the room quietly, dragging my moping stick as she hit it on his head and bite his ears when the mopping stick broke into two.

Hhhmm! What happens next? Would he overpower them?
