Double tragedy for the Adie’s. They were still answering questions at the police force CID department at area ten Abuja when a call from their eldest son Victor came in .

“Hello mommy and daddy you guys have to come back home now !!!”

Adrenaline was pumping very fast through her body

“What’s the suspense for Victor tell me did something happened to Vera?

Victor talking as tears muffled his voice on the phone .

“No mum it’s not Vera! Mummy kelvin is convulsing and foaming from the mouth “.

There was so much urgency and fear in his voice, Mrs Susan released a tiny drop of urine on her undies , she knew something was wrong , her motherly instinct told her something was wrong .

She left the interrogation room, Mr Adie was following closely behind them , Barrister Alfred was calling them back to know what was happening , but the Adie’s run into their car and sped off .

Mrs Susan was crying in the vehicle asking God why all this unfortunate events were happening in his life .

” Vincent drive this car fast please!

Mr Adie was getting exasperated at his wife emotional outburst.” I’m driving one forty honey , I can’t go beyond this, we have to get home alive to take Kelvin to the hospital.

Immediately the gateman opened the gate the parents rushed up , Kelvin was stretched on the ground, having seizures , Mr Vincent Adie Carried the boy from the ground , as he was going down with him he saw Vera standing at her door looking at them unconcerned, they rushed Kelvin to Premier Hospital at Jabi in Abuja , they confirmed he was dead on arrival .

The Adie’s wept so much , Vera remained in her room , nobody remembered she was there . She unmoved by the sad event in the house , she couldn’t cry for Kelvin she was just angry at Miss Imini.

In the coven Vera was celebrated and she was married to the supreme crowned prince, she became a crowned princess .

She drank from Kelvin’s blood and ate his meat.

The supreme lord gave them an assignment to attack the service of a powerful Abuja pastor. To cause stampede at the Dunamis church , and that Vera should lead the attack while Miss Imini will give her back up cover . But when they got to the church night vigil , Miss Imini withdrew herself and some of her loyalist. And left Vera and those loyal to her to face the pastor , the pastor commanded fire to strike the witches and wizards. The fire hit three of Vera’s bats , they fell on the ground , Vera’s wings were burnt . She managed to escape .

Her parents had not been paying attention to Vera after the burial of her brother , at the Apo cemetery.

” Vera what burnt your hands and feet that way !”

Vera didn’t reply her dad as he asked to know what happened to her body , scar of fire burns covered some portion of her hand and feet , from the incidence in the church the previous night .

There was war of silence in the midst of the Crownford Secondary School coven of Black Serpents.

Pandora was going to revenge, she knew Miss Imini intentionally left her and some members of the coven to perish , because she knew how powerful the pastor was . Three boarding students died in their sleep , parents were rushing to withdraw the students from the school, even the school authority was confused of what was happening.

At the general meeting of the Black Serpents , Vera was given in marriage to the supreme crowned prince. The Lord supreme was not happy with the disagreement in the mini coven of the Black Serpents in Abuja , he asked Imini and Vera to trashed out their differences or face his wrath.

There was sub meeting at the event hall of the school , for all the members of the Crownford coven around two A.M

” Miss Imini you abandoned us! She refused to back us up “.

Aminu said furious at Miss Imini.

” Mariam and Kiri would still be here if not for you Miss Imini”.

Vera was quiet watching Miss Imini like a silent hawk.

” Shut up all of you !! How dare you challenge me ? Have you not learnt a lesson from what happened to Vera,? I brought all of you into this coven anyone who is too stubborn to be under me will die like a rat!!”

Immediately Vera’s anger overcame her , she turned into a bat and picked Miss Imini and flew with her out of the hall , the other bats tore through the roof of the school building , the security men where awoken by the turmoil of aluminum roof tearing open , the giant bat fifty of them were ganging up on a particular bat.

They dragged the bat down , the security men ran away when they saw that the giant bat started changing into a human, they fled , Vera landed on the ground and transformed back to a woman , she lifted Miss Imini with her eyes and flung her to the wall , picked her up again to the sky and tried to smash her head like she had smashed Rinky’s head , but before Miss Imini would get to the ground she changed to a bat and flew away trying to escape .

” Serpents go after her she must not escape !!

Vera ordered the forty something bats who blocked Miss Imini, Vera who had tranformes to a giant vulture grabbed her and flung her to the ground, she landed on her and began to tear her up with her talons, when she was too weak to fly , because Vera had thorn her wings , the members of the black serpent coven , flew back to their homes and hostels .

The war lasted for about three hours , Miss Imini was changed back to her human form , bleeding from all parts of her body . When the security men called the school authority they dismissed it as a prank .

But when the teachers came and saw Miss Imini with a bat wing and bat leg , because she couldn’t fully transform due to the injury Vera had inflicted on her, they began to vidoe her , she was too weak to move

The principal rushed down to the school and saw the photage on the CCTV ,everything was caught on camera , they saw how the bats tore open the roof of the event hall , and how Miss Imini was changing forms from human to animal, they saw how the other bats attacked Miss Imini. And how one of the bats kept changing forms from a little girl to a grown woman with a face of a lion then to a bat before she changed to a six feet tall vulture

The principal invited the police to come and take the body of Miss Imini , they refused to touch the half bath half human they asked them to go call a pastor . Miss Imini died disgraced in the front her colleagues murmuring , mumbling and cursing her .
