Diana’s POV

It was around 12 am that I heard the door to the room open and Nancy walked in. Due to the fact that I am a light sleeper, I sat up and turned on the bedside lamp. I yawned, rubbed my eyes and asked her so how was your date? I wanted to hear the full story of how the date went but she told me another day that she was tired and wanted to get some sleep. She kicked off her shoes and lay down on the bed but I went to her and told her that you can’t sleep like this. I told her to take off the dress she was wearing and go and take a shower. She did and when she returned, I asked her don’t you feel refreshed now? She said yes and she added thanks Diana you are the best. We fell asleep that night and the next day, I heard a knock on the door. I groggily got out of bed and went to open up. When I opened the door, I met Charles and Daniel fully dressed in their black t shirts and blue jeans and they asked who’s ready to go wedding gown shopping? I told them that Nancy is still sleeping and I asked but why today? Charles said that he would like to go sightseeing after today and that he would like to get the wedding dresses done by the end of the day. Daniel walked into the room with a bunch of fresh red roses and sat on the bed beside Nancy and said wake up my sleeping beauty and she did and saw the roses and told him thank you. She collected the roses from him and sniffed them and said nothing like fresh roses in the morning from the man you love and she took the flower vase on the table beside her bed and placed the roses in it. He told her to get up and go take her bath that we were going wedding gown shopping and I asked Charles where are my roses. And he brought out a bunch of white roses from behind him and gave them to me. I said thank you, collected them and went to put them in water. I told the guys to please excuse us while we freshened up and they did. After 30 minutes, we were ready I wore a black t shirt and a blue jean skirt while Nancy wore a black gown with some blue designs on it. When we got out of our room and the guys saw us they complemented us saying that you look beautiful and we said thank you. Then Nancy said she’s starving and I added me too and the guys led us to the hotel restaurant to have our breakfasts. After our breakfasts, we exited the hotel only to find that the guys had rented a car to take us around town. We got into the vehicle Charles in the driver’s seat Daniel occupying the other front seat with I and Nancy taking the back seats and we were off wedding gown shopping. We got to the city centre, to shop for wedding gowns I searched and searched for a wedding gown but each store we went into, after looking at their catalogue, I didn’t see anything I liked. Nancy on the other hand saw a gown she really liked in the seventh store we visited and she paid for it to be made for her. I was about giving up, when I saw a young girl in her teens, she came to me and greeted me and asked me in French are you looking for a wedding gown? I said yes but haven’t seen anything I like and she said to follow her. I did to a little shop outside the market and what I saw blew me away. In that little shop, her whole family of her mother and three elder sisters were working sowing different types of gowns. I then asked for their catalogue and the little girl brought a book out for me and when I opened the book, the first gown I saw I fell in love with. I asked them who drew this? The mother said that it was the little girl and I told her that you are really talented you know that right? She just nodded and I asked them how much it will cost to make the gown? And the mother said 30,000 Euros and I asked again once it is made how much would it cost to purchase it? She said 50,000 Euros. I asked how long would it take for the gown to be done? She said that in the next seven days it would be ready. The mother said I should stand up so they can take my measurement and so I did. After that I said that I admired their work and most especially the little girl and so I proceeded to pay 150,000 Euros for the gown and they all thanked me profusely and I added another 50,000 Euros for the little girl to go to fashion school. I asked if I could take a picture of the gown and they said yes and I brought out my phone and took a snapshot of the gown and I told them that I’d be back in the next seven days to come pick up my gown and with that I left their shop.

Charles’s POV

When we got to the gowns market in the city centre of Paris, Diana searched and searched but couldn’t find a gown that she liked. Until she went into a shop outside the market and 45 minutes later she came out smiling and said that she just found her wedding gown. I asked so can I see it? She said sure you can and was about to pull out her phone to show me a picture of it when Daniel and Nancy came to us and I told them that she referring to Diana just found her wedding gown and they asked to see it too. When she showed me a picture of the gown, I said where did you find such a hideous gown? She had a frown on her face and I started laughing and said got you there. She asked me what do you mean and I told her that I was just joking and that the gown was very beautiful. Daniel and Nancy took a look at it and they also said how beautiful the gown was. Then I asked are we done here? They all said yes and we left the clothes market. For the next 2 weeks, we toured the city of Paris, going to see all the major tourist attractions in the city. We visited the Louvre museum, we also attended a tennis match the final of the French open tournament in which my favourite player Roger Federa lost to Raphael Nadal, we also went to watch a soccer match between Paris Saint Germaine and Bayern Munich it was the champions League quarter finals which the side from Bavaria won 1-0 but since they had lost the first leg 3-2 at home the side from Paris progressed to the semi-finals on away goals. We also went to see the Eiffel tower. And on the seventh day of our stay in Paris, the dress maker called Diana that her wedding gown was ready and we went to pick it up and we also went to pick up Nancy’s gown when it was ready. After picking up the gowns, the ladies decided to mail the gowns to their addresses in the United States and we did.
