Blood Is Thicker Than Water - S01 E26

Charles’s POV

After what Diana pulled I was restless and couldn’t sleep. I started to think to myself if I wasn’t strong she would have had her way and we would have had sex. My phone beeped signifying that I had received a text message. I picked up the phone and saw that the message was from Diana. She wrote are you sleeping? I replied no not yet just trying to. Then I wrote what was that you tried to do earlier? I thought better of it because she was drunk at the time and wanted to press cancel on the phone but accidentally pressed send. She replied it was a test and I asked what kind of test was that? She said I wanted to know if you truly loved me or not. She continued I wasn’t drunk at all and I asked but I smelled the alcohol on your breath? She said that she just used the alcohol to wash her mouth. I wrote interesting and I asked again what kind of test was that? She said that she wanted to know if she was drunk, whether I’d take advantage of her and I asked by having sex with you? She said yes and I told her that even if I was drunk I wouldn’t try to have sex with her before our wedding night. Then I asked did I pass your test? I mean I already knew the answer to that question but I wanted to hear it from her and she said in flying colours. I said you know what you did is grounds for a breakup? She asked are you breaking up with me? I waited for about 15 minutes before replying her last message. I said I could never breakup with you. I added I mean I love you more than myself. She wrote thank God you really had me there for a second, I thought you were going to breakup with me and I asked her what about your friend Nancy? She asked what about her? I asked if she was back from her date yet? She said no but that when they come back, we would know about it. We discussed various other topics before I told her good night and we ended our chat.

Nancy’s POV

During our meal I asked Daniel if he would like to go to Italy after our business is done in Paris to go get his wedding suit and he asked is that what Charles and Diana are doing? I said yes and he pinched my cheek and said whatever makes my baby happy and I asked him so you would go with them to Italy? And he said yes and I told him thank you. Dinner was great by the way I tasted so much food that I was stuffed. After our dinner, Daniel asked me for a dance in the restaurant. I was shy but he convinced me and we danced for minutes on end to the music being played by the live band. While we danced, I could see sincerity in his eyes and I knew that moment that he loved me. While we danced, a spotlight was shining down on us and it was like we were the only two people in the room. When the music ended, the whole restaurant busted out into a round of applauds and we took a bow and we left the restaurant. Outside the restaurant, Daniel asked me so are you tired? I told him that the night is still young and he said good and I saw a mischievous smile on his face and I asked him what do you have planned? He told me that he was taking me to go see a movie and I asked him what’s the title of the film? He said it’s a surprise when we get there you would know. The limo driver came around with the car and we hopped into the vehicle and we were off to the movies. At the movie theatre, the film which was showing was titanic one of my all time favourite movies. I told Daniel thank you and he said you are welcome. We first of all went to get our popcorn and drinks before we headed into the theatre to watch the film.

Daniel’s POV

Watching a movie is more interesting when you do so with the one you love. Nancy was in tears after the movie because Jack Leonardo Dicaprio’s character died at the end of the movie protecting the woman he loved. Nancy ran out of the movie theatre in tears, I thought that she went to use the ladies but after 30 minutes, I didn’t see her and so I became worried and went to look for her. I went to check all the toilets in the theatre but I didn’t find her. Until I saw someone who told me that he saw her being dragged to the back of the theatre and so I went there. When I got to the back of the theatre, I saw a guy holding Nancy and she was struggling with him. I went close to them and asked what’s going on here? He asked who are you? I told him that that’s my fiancée he is holding. He said oh good boyfriend to the rescue. I asked again what’s going on here? He said can you imagine I asked this young lady for her name and she slapped me. I went on to apologise on her behalf but the gangster said that the only way he would forgive her transgression is if he had sex with her. That was when I lost my cool and I told him to release her but he called three other guys to come hold me while he had his way with Nancy. What the gangsters didn’t know was that I had a black belt in karate. So the first guy lunged at me I disabled him with a kick to the chest, then the next guy came at me with a punch directed at my face I caught his fist and twisted his arm to the back and he started begging me to release him and I disabled him with a well placed punch to the neck. The last guy provided more of a challenge, as he came at me with a kick to my chest I caught his leg and kicked his standing leg from under him. He stood up and aimed another punch at my face I dodged his punch and I returned five fast punches to his torso, and when he bent down to take a breath, I gave him a knee to the jaw and he fell flat on the floor. I heard Nancy shout Daniel watch out! As the first guy I had beaten up had a knife and was aiming for my chest. I caught the knife wielding man by the hand he had the knife and I hit his hand on my knee and the knife dropped out of his hand. I then gave him three fast punches to the ribs and he fell on his knees he stood up again to attack me again and I floored him with a head butt. Then I dusted my hands and looked at the guy holding Nancy and I could see fear in his eyes. And I asked him do you want to go one round with me? He left Nancy and ran away. I went to Nancy and asked her are you okay and she said so if you didn’t show up I would have been raped by that guy? I told her not to think about it and she asked me where did you learn to fight like that? I responded that’s the best karate training money can buy. I helped her up and on our way out of there she asked me what are we going to do about these guys pointing to the men I just beat up? I asked her what would you like to do? She said we can’t leave them here like this or they would die. I pulled out my cell phone and called the ambulance and in less than 5 minutes they arrived and they took the men to the hospital. After that ordeal, Nancy wanted to walk back to the hotel in order to clear her head. I asked can I come with you? She said yes and we walked back and in less than an hour we arrived at the hotel. We took the elevator and arrived at the 15th floor I walked Nancy to her door and kissed her good night on her forehead and I waited for her to walk in to the room before going to my room.
