“Disgusting! Like seriously, I don’t pray for his death but I pray he stay long in the hospital’s bed.” Leo replied cruelly.

“What?” Miss Francis yelled surprisingly.

“And woman, don’t ever as in don’t ever call this number again, beside, kindly help me to delete this number from his contact because as from this instant I don’t have any business with an imbecile.” Leo concluded and he ended the call.

“Leo…” Leo’s girlfriend called but she was restrained from coming down with her statement.

“What? Leo… what?” Leo barked angrily.

“I’m sorry, please, don’t beat me.” Leo’s girlfriend begged facing another direction.

NEXT DAY

LOCATION: COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL (TEACHER’S MEETING POINT)

The slammed of door could be heard loudly, all the sitting teachers were stunned with the shocking behavior of the paramount Vice Principal.

“Ma, please calm down.” A female teacher cautioned.

“Shut up!” Mrs. Benita yelled loudly at the teacher.

“Ma, I sense something is bothering you, hope there is no problem?” The Agric teacher asked.

“Hmmm… actually, I received a call early this morning that the principal had an accident yesterday evening, and he is in coma.” Mrs. Benita voiced out.

“What!” The teachers sighed in chorus, they were stunned and shocked.

“He deserved more than that, the innocent one… nevermind.” Mr. Anume commented sadly.

“You’re very heartless and cold-blooded Mr. Anume…” Mrs. Benita blasted angrily but she was unable to come down with her statement.

“Excuse me woman…” Mr. Anume barked back.

“Ehn?” Mrs. Benita exclaimed opening her mouth wide in agape.

“They say ‘no sinner shall go unpunished’ woman; you’re truly the perfect example of a sheep in goat clothing (hiss).” Mr. Anume concluded and he angrily walked out of the crowd.

LOCATION: CHIEF CHRIS’ RESIDENT

Chief Chris came out from the bathroom with a towel tied round his pot-belle stomach, he was whistling loudly and alarmingly, just then he heard a knock at the door.

“Princess, right?” He guessed with smile all over his face.

“Yes Dad, can I come in?” Princess asked from outside.

“Why not, you’re always welcome here my angel.” Chief Chris approved and Princess slammed the door behind herself.

“Good morning Dad.” Princess greeted respectfully.

“Good morning my angel, how was your night?” Chief Chris responded to her greeting earnestly.

“My night? It’s kind of dreamful.” Princess replied smiling.

“Wow, sit down my angel, gist me what you dream is all about.” Chief Chris teased.

“Hmm… actually, I have forgotten almost every scene of the dream but I could vividly remember a scene… I saw myself playing hide and seek with a handsome dude at the seashore… he held and hugged me tightly and we kissed passionately… he seems to be my boyfriend or let say fiancée.” Princess paused.

“I doubt that is a dream, I sense it is just an imagination…” Chief Chris commented as he rose on his feet dejectedly.

“But dad, the face I saw in my dream looked familiar and I think I have saw him before, maybe somewhere or somehow, I have been trying to…” Princess elucidated smiling but unfinished.

“Princess… please, let end this conversation, you can go to your room.” Chief Chris cautioned, just then the beep of Chief Chris’s phone could be heard, he walked to the standing mirror and he fetched for his phone.

“Oh! It’s the Lieutenant Colonel.” Chief Chris uttered softly as he picked the call.

PHONE CONVERSATION

“Hello warlord.” Chief Chris began with smile all over his face.

“Hello Chief, there’s a problem o.” The Lieutenant Colonel voiced out impatiently.

“A problem? As in I don’t understand.” Chief Chris replied confusingly.

“Sir, the boys escaped from our custody and they are nowhere to be found.” The Lieutenant Colonel broke the ugly news.

“What?” Chief Chris yelled in dismay.

“Dad, hope there’s no problem?” Princess asked suspiciously.

“Princess, go to your room.” Chief Chris barked loudly at Princess.

“I’m all hear L.C, you mean those boys escaped?” Chief Chris asked for confirmation.

“Yes sir, but my boys are in the bush searching for those boys and I have informed the red cap soldiers and they are also at alert.” The Lieutenant Colonel explained and Chief Chris heaved a heavy sigh of relief.

“The boys must be found; else, you know what it means.” Chief Chris concluded and he ended the call.

LOCATION: UNKNOWN PLACE

Daniel opened his eyes slowly, he tried to raise his hand but he realized his hands were shackled, he gathered some strength to raise his head but it hurt badly and he resigned to rest his head on the pillow.

“Where am I?” He asked rhetorically.

“Actually, you don’t need to know where you are, but I keenly welcome you here.” A voiced replied from behind.

“Oh, please where is Ola?” Daniel asked impatiently as he reluctantly rose is head from the pillow.

“Oh, you mean the other boy?” The man in black asked tensely.

“Yes sir.” Daniel replied impatiently.

“I shot him with just a dart and he fainted, I guess he is weak and enervated.” The man replied as he laughed hysterically.

“He is in bed and he hasn’t waked up.” The man concluded.

“Who are you?” Daniel asked boldly.

“Me? Can’t you see I’m an assassin?” The man replied.

“Who are you? Where am I? And why am I here?” Daniel barked loudly.

“I think I will just leave you, you’re quite hot-tempered.” The man replied as he readjusted the mask on his face.

“I want to see the face behind the mask.” Daniel spoke softly and the man turned back, he looked at Daniel for a minute. Conclusively, he unmasked himself.

“Oh my goodness!” Daniel exclaimed surprisingly, just then he collapsed.
